• Question:-Black Politicians against (or that has opposing views to) Cornel West?
  Does anyone know any Black politician against or that has opposing views to Cornel West? I know that Dr. West does not like Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas but I do not believe Thomas necessarily care about West. I want to say RNC head Micheal Steele just because West is so liberal and Steele is very conservative. However, I could not state any particular issue. Does anyone know any or does anyone have any thoughts or comments about what I just said?

  Answer:-I get the meaning but also understand the reality. How does one "think" for his or her self? Is that even possible to do? Our thoughts are formed by cultural and social values as much as information. We have been trained to think by our cultures. Even the act of valuing thinking or "thinking for yourself" for that matter is a social value. What is truth? Is today's truth the same as tomorrows? When the foreigners came to this country and then systematically eliminated the native population, the American Indians, did they not justify it and claim it to be right? After all, they were soulless heathens, no better than animals. (So claimed all the religions of the new country) (So, claimed the Mormon Church until the 1970's. One of the last churches to reform.)

  Only by denying that truth exists can you see clearly enough to entertain new ideas, new thoughts and new ways of seeing the world. Assuming something to be true, we become fools. That which is actually true will be true whether or not we deny it. The act of denying it will not change it in the least. But that which is not true, will crumble and fall when met with denial. It will have no support for its assertions and it can be clearly seen to be false. Truth, does not need belief or faith to be real.

  Answer:-ive never seen him with a black scarf. and even then, no, i dont think it would be to remember that.
