Answer:-Men, women and grand too participated in No Shave November to raise awareness for the important and educational month of November. It is now a recognized national month that identifies the worth and meaning of celebrating masculinity. Hey it is cold out there!!
It is quite common for some males in Australia (especially in the city of Melbourne), and New Zealand to sport a moustache during the month of November. The custom being known as Movember (Movember is a portmanteau of the words 'Moustache' and 'November'.), and being a fund raising event for men's health issues. Ones fashionable appearance often comes second to the calling of Movember. A similar observance in the United States, called No Shave November, involves a full beard as opposed to a mustache.
Beard Month in Hodson Hall...
Beard month originated in Carmin Hall where the residents participated in "Lumberjack Month." When Hodson was converted to a male residence hall, Carmin was converted to a female hall, and this tradition followed. Beard Month begins at the beginning of "No Shave November" or sometimes "Furry February" and ends the last day of the month. Participants shave at midnight to kick off the month and have their picture taken. They grow their facial hair for the entire month and on the last day of the month the beards are judged by a group of females and awards are given for the best, and worst, beards. - Question:-So guys are you participating in no shave november?

i am a 17 yr old guy, it has been about a week since no shave november started and i already have a really good gotee and mustache going. However, my beard is not growing fast at all on the sides, they are dark, but theres not many hairs.
Is there any type of food or something i can do to make it grow faster???
Answer:-I wouldn't recommend it but you could always try Rogaine.
It also probably won't help much but if your do things to help increase the blood flow to your air follicles it might help a little. Massage your face with a warm wash cloth in the morning and a night. - Question:-What is the history of no-shave november? Where can I find it?

- Question:-What are your favorite scenes from Anchorman and Talladega Nights and why?
Mine had to be the scene where all the anchormen rumble and get into a huge fight. Then afterwards they tell the guy that he needs to hide because he really killed a man. As for Talladega Nights, I absolutely loved the cougar scene. I almost died laughing in the theater. So what about you?

When you go into talladega frights, they only let a certain amount of people in a group to go in.

I'm going to talladega in October for the first time and I want to know what the seats will be like. We have seats in the Tri-Oval Tower row 50. Are they plain bleachers without a back? Will I need binoculars?
Answer:-I go to Talledega every year and ALWAYS take binoculars, it is a 2.66 mile track so to see everything you will need them. As far as the seating is concerned take a cushion with you, 4 or more hours on those hard seats hurts. - Question:-Do they have reduced rates at Talladega for kids?
My family and I are wanting to go to Talladega for the April race. I have 4 kids. They are 13, 8, 7, and 4 and I was wondering if they would be the same rate, $99, or get a discount. I figured the 13 year old would have to pay full price but was unsure about the others. Thanks
Sorry, we are planning on staying on the infield.
Answer:-I take my kids to Talladega a bunch and every time I've ever been the kids get into the infield for free. Not sure if they have changed it (skipped last two years) but you do have to walk through the tunnel. - Question:-What can I put in a cooler to keep drinks cold at Talladega?
I'm attending my first race tomorrow at Talladega. I have been told that you can't put ice in the coolers that you bring into the grandstands, so what can I use that will keep things cold for a long day in the hot sun?
Answer:-At target they have these blue ice gel packs. I got this great one that you can wrap it around what you need. You can also get thm in bricks too. I would get a few of the bricks for the bottom of the cooler and then a few of the wraps one for the top and the sides. At least one wrap for the top.
The wrap is thin and has several 2 inch by one inch blue gels attached to each other. it is made by Rubbermaid and is great because you can fold it - Question:-Will we see a different winner at Talladega on Sunday?
The season started out with many different winners, and now it seems to have focused on just a few. Is it possible that Talladega may bring a new winner for the 2011 season?

Whether it be the Aaron's 499 or the fall race, he almost always has the Pepsi scheme at Talladega. There have been a few exceptions, but Pepsi is usually on the Dega car. Any reason for this? Is it a tradition for the #24?
Answer:-I guess it's because Pepsi agrees to be on the car for that race. It may be a tradition as well, I don't know. - Question:-Why do I see alot of people upset about Talladega?
It seems like a lot of people are crying that Brad should be fined even though he did nothing wrong. People thought it was a bad race...I cannot understand why or how they can think this. With the past several races being nothing but wasted gas this is what racing is about. Talladega cannot disappoint.
Answer:-It wasn't a bad race at all!! And I'm a Carl Edwards fan!! I don't think Brad should be fined, it wasn't his fault!! It was NASCAR"S fault!!

I took the ACT last April and did good on the reading portion but not so great on the math. I recently took it again. Can you combine scores of different tests to get a better composite score for colleges to look at?
Answer:-It matter which college you go to. Some schools will take your highest scores from each section, and use those for a "super score". You still have to send them all your scores, so they see them, but they only consider the highest ones. That's not all colleges though, some just look at your highest composite score. You could probably find out whether or not the colleges you want to go to do that by looking at their websites, but if you can't find anything, I would just send all your scores and hope they do. - Question:-act?????????????

I want to act. it's just what I want to do. But how do I build confidence completely and be comfortable acting in front of others? I just want to be able to act with ease, and I want it to come out naturally. Having confidence, character, and eye contact are very important things. Answer:-With everything there is a start. Usually when you start off, you start off small. Come up with a script. Possibly write your own. You will build confidence from discovering you can write. Then, try talking in front of a pet. Whether they pay attention or not it helps. I did talk to my dog once, (on advice from a friend) and even though it was weird it did work. After the pet, move up to family. Try a sibling. Sometimes parents might not be brutally honest. A sibling usually will unless they don't mind if you look like an @$$. After family try a friend, then try aa classmate or a speach class/public speaking assignments. Pick something at school where you can thrust yourself in the public eye. Maybe run for a school office. (Class President) You will definitely have to speak to classmates. At that point you should be ready to try acting in other venues. - Question:-How are you supposed to act around a boyfriend?
I've had many boyfriends but, they all end. So, it just feels like I don't know how to act around them. I know there is no specific way to act but, how are you supposed to act?

Answer:-Around a boyfriend your not supposed to act. Your supposed to be yourself, the point of having a boyfriend being different than a guy-friend is that you are comfortable around him.
You talk about anything and everything that comes to your mind. I don't mean to sound very not helpful, but we can't tell you how to act. Around someone as important as a boyfriend, you just talk about anything that comes to mind. What do you talk with with your friends? Inside jokes, gossip, movies, who got with who, etc...
I act who I really am: around friends I am loud, I can't whisper for my life, and experienced (guy-wise). Around my boyfriend I am shy, I always whisper, and I am clumsy and have no idea what I'm doing. I take risks and try new things. This is why I am experienced when I'm around my friends, but around my boyfriend I'm just as innocent and unknowing as anyone else. I still get really nervous when I know my boyfriend is going to kiss me -- I don't want to mess up! Around friends it's like "been there, done that" and I'm not afraid to talk about kissing guys.
It'll come naturally =] If there's an awkward silence say "so..." awkwardly then crack up and voila, you guys have an inside joke and a new thing to talk about. I'm not you, therefore I can not tell you what to do, but just relax.

I heard there was recently a new law passed under Homeland Security that can basically target any US citizen who expresses disdain for the current Administration. Protesters and the like are labeled as terrorists and apprehended as such. I haven't heard anything on the news about this, but it sounds pretty serious. With the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act passed under the guise of "protecting freedom" it's really no surprise to me that something like this would happen, but I'd like to verify. If true, we are certainly moving into dangerous waters...
