wheel of fortune

  • Question:-Why is the Wheel of Fortune contestant composition always the same?
Why does Wheel of Fortune follow the same contestant formula for nearly every episode? There is always one male, two female and one of the women is almost always markedly more physically attractive than the other.

Answer:-I've noticed that myself. I suspect that their PR/marketing types have done surveys and figured out that that particular contestant combination is the most "viewer friendly".

    :o)
  • Question:-How big is the wheel from wheel of fortune?
Another quick question: after watching the E! True Hollywood Story on Wheel of Fortune, I heard that there was a guy that goes under the wheel and tries to stop it with his hands and feet. Is this still going on today? My guess is that it's not since in the early years of the show they did not use flippers to stop the wheel. They used thin plastic strips like the ones used at a carnival wheel. Thin plastic strips would not be able to stop a 2 ton wheel. I just want some clarification.

Answer:-to tell u the truth i have no idea but i dont think that someone will try to stop oit from underneath it cause itr looks really heavy but the arrow is what stops it not a guy
  • Question:-How do you become a contestant on Wheel of Fortune?
I've loved the show Wheel of Fortune forever, but have never heard how contestants are chosen. Can anyone help me get information on this? Thanks.

Answer:-Below is the Wheel Of Fortune official site. When you click on the "Contestants" tab, it tells you, "
Our apologies, this feature is unavailable at this time. Please enjoy the rest of the site."

Perhaps they are not accepting applicants at this time.
  • Question:-How to find locations of the backdrop on Wheel of Fortune?
I've been trying aimlessly to find out the location sites they display on the backdrop behind the contestants on Wheel of Fortune. Many of the sites are obvious but some seem random and a couple of those sites look familiar. Any suggestions?

Answer:-Record the show using your computer (if you're lucky) or a DVR or VCR.

Copy the background to an image file on your computer. If you have TV via Windows Media Center, pause and then use the snipping tool. If you have a DVR or VCR, you'll probably have to pause and take a picture with a digital camera, then copy ("upload") the photo to your computer.

Several free sites are available for temporary posting pictures.

After posting the picture, ask here!

  • Question:-How many people have won a million dollars on Wheel of Fortune?
I am watching Wheel of Fortune and the girl just got the million dollar wedge, and I started to wonder how many people have won a million dollars on Wheel of Fortune, because since I started watching it, I haven't seen anyone win it.

Answer:-Only one. I believe this is the first season to include the million dollar wedge (the season is ending this week, I believe).

It's pretty difficult to get the million. You have to
    * land on the million wedge
    * pick a letter that's in the puzzle to win the wedge
    * win that round (be the first to guess that puzzle)
    * be the big winner (win more $ than your competitors)
    * pick the million dollar prize on the small wheel in the final round (where you can't see what prize you're picking)
    * win the final round

Frankly, I suspect the winner who did win might have been "set up" to win. The chances of doing all that are very remote - I think only 1 other person has made it to the final round with the million dollar wedge (and they failed to pick the million dollar prize from the small wheel).

  • Question:-What was the final puzzle on Wheel of Fortune tonight Sept 7, 2009?
I also need the wheel of fortune anniversary phrase. I just got home from worked and missed them both by minutes.

    Answer:-Go to
    http://dr.homelinux.net:81/wheel/
  • Question:-What is the wheel of fortune on neopets?
I play neopets and I keep hearing about the wheel of fortune and I don't know what it is. What is it and can you give me the link to it?
I also heard about a neo genie where can I get it on neopets?

Answer:-I've never heard of the Wheel of Fortune. There's the Wheel of Excitement in Faerieland, the Wheel of Knowledge in Brightvale, the Wheel of Monotony in Tyrannia, and the Wheel of Misfortune in the Haunted Fairground.
  • Question:-What happens when the Wheel of Fortune spinner hits bankrupt during the final spin?
I have been watching Wheel of Fortune for a while now, but I'm curious, has there ever been a moment when Pat hit a Bankrupt or Lose a Turn when spinning?

Answer:-Yeah it happens. He just spins it again.
  • Question:-What was the trivia solved today on wheel of fortune the last one?
I am trying to find out what was the last trivia solved today on wheel of fortune because I missed it?

Answer:-Bonus round puzzle solution was "WOOL SOCKS"

She guessed it right after the buzzer.
  • Question:-Any tips for playing Wheel of Fortune slot machine?
I heard a lot of good things about the Wheel of Fortune slot machine. I'll be going to a casino soon, any suggestions?

Answer:-Yes, always play the max bets. If you can afford it, play the $1 slots instead of the quarter ones. When you do hit the "Wheel---of---Fortune" and push the spin button, expect the needle to always end up on the cheap ass 30-50 slots... I've only got the 1000 one once out of maybe 5000 spin attempts over my lifetime of gambling.

bj penn

  • Question:-There are Five possible threats to Bj Penn lightweight championship?
Kurt pellegrino,Kenny florian,Terry etim,Gray Maynard,George Sotiropoulos..Who you think would put Bj Penn in the most trouble and who do you think that Bj penn will beat easily

Answer:-I think the biggest threat is Kenny Florian. Sotiropolous is amazing and is possibly my 3rd favorite fighter in that division (BJ is my 2nd). I think Kenny's next fight with BJ will be much different. Nobody has looked better than Kenny as all of BJ's other opponents left looking like a bloody tampon. I think Kenny has gotten much better with his striking and his BJJ is still very dangerous.

Sotiropolous is very good but inexperienced which I think is a bad deal if he fights BJ. Pellegrino is not on BJ's level and I don't think Pellegrino can beat Florian as well. I sincerely don't see Florian losing to anybody else aside from BJ.

I say KenFlo should face Sotiropolous and then Pellegrino for #1 contender because there really is nobody left to challenge Florian. Gray would not last with Florian because Florian is just way to good for Gray. Gray would have no shot against Flo on the floor or on his feet. This is not the case and I believe Gray will get his chance after Edgar gets beaten and I can see the UFC give Pellegrino the next shot after that and Sotiropolous and then possibly Florian. That's fine by me because KenFlo in the mean time will just keep getting better and better.
  • Question:-How can i get the whole fight or just entrances to Matt Hughes vs Bj Penn II?
I've seriously been looking for just the entrance of BJ Penn when his trademark hawaii song mixed with the gnarls Crazy song for 2 years now! I had it but now every resource seems to delete it, probably due to copyright laws. MUST GET VID

Answer:-I like the one he came out to against pulver 2 and stevenson.
It has Hawaii 78 and E Ala E mixed together.
  • Question:-He is 4 reasons why EliteXC lightweight fighter James Edson Berto will beat BJ Penn anyday?
    1. He's a more talented fighter than BJ Penn.
    2. He's more determine than BJ Penn to win.
    3. He has better techniques than BJ Penn.
    4. His stand up and ground game is better than BJ Penn.

Answer:-You seriously need to drop the second and third letters from your name, bro, because you are a class A joker.
  • Question:-what happened to bj penn recently when he was making love to the cardio monster?
he clamped on a submission attempt on the world welterweight champion and when bj came out for the third he was completely gone; the other guy pinned him, tied off the arm and a tko ensued as penn was unable to defend himself - or were they just kissing and cuddling like bum boys?

    Answer:-
  • Question:-bj penn ????????????
what made him loose the tittle ?

    arrogant

Answer:-Frankie Edgar :) lol watch the fight here http://www.mmaheaven.net/Watch-UFC-112-Online-Live-Stream/
  • Question:-Who do you thinks gonna win between BJ Penn and Joe stevenson?
I think Joe hands down. Joes proved himself and is one of my fave fighters. BJ Penn has okay ground game but has terrible trainning habbits and heart. He lacks the goodness of his olden days. Its Joes time to shine and hes gonna pull this one off 3erd round submission. Your thoulghts opinions for UFC 80?

Answer:-Bj Penn would be my guess,Stevenson is a good fighter and should be respected but i think Penn is Superior.
  • Question:-How does the Bj Penn ufc 101 shirt fit?
Im about to buy th Bj penn UFC 101 Walkout shirt but dont know what size to get, and was wondering if i could get some help. I usually wear a size large but am a bit hesitant.

    Answer:-I'd call them and ask.
  • Question:-Do you think BJ Penn should of won his fight against Frankie Edgar?
This past Saturday, BJ Penn took on Frankie Edgar to defend his Lightweight title. BJ didn't look his greatest but with that being said, I don't think Frankie did enough to win. But according to the judges, he did....? They will most likley have a rematch but what do you think of the outcome of Penn vs. Edgar?

Answer:-No, BJ Penn won't won with his fight against Frankie Edgar, his opponent knows some of his weaknesses and it's the one that get him lose.

Frankie Edgar are totally prepared and shows some aggressiveness on that fight, which make him won and achieve points to conquer him, we just see what are the needed adjustments BJ Penn will do on this coming rematch.

    Good luck
  • Question:-Why is everyone criticizing BJ Penn's performance last night?
Penn fought Fitch who is 3 inches taller and at least 20 lbs heavier plus a D-I wrestler. Penn took Fitch down in the first and second round and almost finished him both times. In the third round, Penn basically pulled guard and Fitch dry humped for the rest of the round, not finishing the much smaller opponent. Many fans (along with Penn himself) were dissapointed with Bj's performance when i thought he did fantastic. He came into this fight as an underdog and proved alot in my eyes.

Answer:-I thought the fight was a draw. But I agree with you BJ showed how tough he is by taking the fight with a much bigger opponent.
  • Question:-BJ Penn or Lyoto Machida, who is more likely to get their title back?
In my opinion BJ Penn has a stronger shot of getting his title back. Lyoto is not finished by any means but I really do not think that he will ever beat Shogun, and Shogun will probably beat everyone in the Light Heavyweight division.

    Your opinion?

Answer:-bj of course everytime he loses he comes back stronger lyoto will never be champion again for a while now they got his kyrptonite people just gonna find a way to beat him but edgar isnt that great really i think he jus t got lucky he isnt champion in my eyes unless he beat bj again by alot of points he only beat him by one point anyway so it was real close and bj was sick so BJ PENN

  • Question:-My top 10 list of undrafted players to target. Where will they go?
    1. Mark Herzlich, LB, Boston College: Herzlich battled back from cancer. He is not 100 percent yet, but played well enough to be drafted. He will make a team and could play Mike or Sam linebacker. He would have been a first-round pick if he came out before he got the cancer. He had 11 interceptions and 40 plays behind the line of scrimmage in college.

    2. Kendric Burney, CB, North Carolina: He ran slowly at the combine, but he makes plays. Watch the Senior Bowl practice tapes. He has a knack for being around the ball. Explain how a slow guy had 11 interceptions and averaged 30 yards per interception return.

    3. Jake Kirkpatrick, C, TCU: He's better than some of the centers drafted, and is one tough guy. This is another player from the Senior Bowl that teams missed out on. He only played one year of high school football. Go watch how well he battles a nose tackle.

    4. Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware: He completed more than 65 percent of his passes, threw for more than 6,500 yards and 42 touchdowns in college, and he ran 4.8 at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine.

    5. Scott Tolzien, QB, Wisconsin: He completed 68 percent of his passes with 32 touchdowns and just 18 interceptions, and had a 21-5 record as a starter. He's worth more than a look.

    6. Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky: He lit up the first half of the Senior Bowl game. He has 4.4 speed and the hands to be a developmental third-down back.

    7. Kai Forbath, K, UCLA: He made 40 consecutive field goals from under 50 yards, and a total of 85 of 101 attempts.

    8. Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh: Hynoski was born to be a lead blocker. He also had 40 receptions in college. At 6-feet tall and 257 pounds, he will contribute on special teams and make the short-yardage goal-line package better.

    9. Terrence Toliver, WR, LSU: Toliver put forth an outstanding performance at LSU's pro day. He was also the offensive MVP of the 2011 Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M.

    10. Colby Whitlock, DT, Texas Tech: A four-year starter and a candidate for a backup three-technique in a 4-3 defense. He's 6-foot-2, 302 pounds, and has short arms but has some penetration skills. He broke 5.0 in the 40 at the combine.

    Answer:-1. New England Patriots
    2. Detroit Lions
    3. Oakland Raiders
    4. Minnesota Vikings
    5. Washington Redskins
    6. Miami Dolphins
    7. Detroit Lions
    8. Pittsburgh Steelers??
    9. Oakland Raiders
    10. Seattle Seahawks??
  • Question:-Who will be the Top 5 at each position next year in College Football?
    Here's waht I think:

Top 5 QB's: Sam Bradford OU, Colt McCoy Texas, Tim Tebow Florida, Jevan Snead Ole Miss, Terrelle Pryor Ohio State

Top 5 RB's: Jhavid Best Cal, Noel Devine WVU, Demarco Murray OU, Joe McKnight USC, CJ Spiller Clemson

Top 5 WR's: Arrelious Benn Illinois, Julio Jones Bama, A.J. Green Georgia, Dez Bryant Oklahoma State, Detron Lewis Texas Tech

Top 5 TE's: Jermaine Gresham OU, Aaron Hernandez FLorida, Ed Dickson Oregon, Robert Gronkowski Arizona, Nate Bynum Pitt

Top 5 O-Linemen: Russel Okung Oklahoma St, Ciron Black LSU, Sergio Render VT, John Jerry Ole Miss, Adam Ulatoski Texas

Top 5 DE's: Carlos Dunlap Florida, Greg Hardy Ole Miss, George Selvie USF, Paul Kruger Utah, Brandon Williams Texas Tech

Top 5 DT's: Terrance Cody Bama, Gerald McCoy OU, Jared Odrick Penn State, Ndamukong Suh Nebraska, Senderrick Marks Auburn

Top 5 OLBs: Mark Herzlich Boston College, Navorro Brown Penn State, Sean Weatherspoon Mizzou, Sergio Kindle Texas, Stevenson Sylvester Utah

Top 5 MLB's: Brandon Spikes Florida, Rolando McClain Bama, Gerald Mcrath Souther Miss, Reed Williams WVU, Mike Wright Utah

Top 5 CB's: Trevard Lindley Ketucky, Asher Allen Georgia, Joe Haden Florida, Janoris Jenkins Florida, Javier Arenas Bama

Top 5 FS: Taylor Mays USC, Kam Chancellor VT, Reshad Jones Georgia, Ahmad Black Florida, Anderson Russel Ohio St

Top 5 SS: Eric Berry Tennessee, Myron Rolle Florida St, Morgan Burnett GA Tech, Emanuel Cook South Carolina, Major Wright Florida

Thats what I think, feel free to disagree though, who's your top 5 at each position? You dont have to do all of them if it will take too long, you can just pick one position and say whos the top 5 guys next year,
I wanna know what u guys think.

Answer:-I agree with QB, RB, TE, DT, MLB, CB, and S position. Dez Bryant is going to be the best receiver in college next year, and I'd put Greg Hardy before Dunlap. And I'm 90% sure that Paul Kruger from Utah is going into the draft this year I could be wrong though.

Answer:-Follow them through tryouts. I am sure they will all try out for teams and some will make it but it's impossible to say now.
  • Question:-NFL Lockout conspiracy with UFL?
Ok here is the deal. Somethings are becoming a little too odd in the world of Pro Football. I love the UFL, but it just so happens that the UFL season will start in August. Some NFL experts predict the lockout will be lifted some time in preseason. Aug 7 is when its scheduled to start. Looking at this and the acquire of Coaches like Glanville, and Schottenheimer and other top ex NFL coaches like Fassel and Dennis Green this looks like something is up. I been following the UFL since their first Championship Game (first game I watched). Has the owners and the NFL planned the UFL knowing the lockout would come. I know the UFL's owner did, he was apart of the NFLPA for a while. Is the UFL a way for the NFL to gain future revenue? They have undrafted college players and had UFL people at the NFL combine. Is the NFL prolonging the lockout to give way for the UFL? The UFL is a great way for the NFL to look at potential markets. Look how great Omaha turned out. The UFL also would allow NFL teams to farm players and save money with out signing them to an NFL practice squad. Its gives NFL team owners in-game evaluation on potential players. Invest and loose money for a far bigger gain in the future? They are Billionaires and definite investors. Let face it, players will come and go. Are they making the UFL seem like its something thats a struggle league but in reality its part of a bigger plan for the NFL. As fans we would grow to like the UFL and see home-town/ undrafted talent make it to the NFL. Look at the Boston College LB Mark Herzlich; And Texas A&M's QB Jerrod Johnson who's not rooting for them? I certainly am. Why would HOF coaches jump on the UFL knowing it could fail? I think there is more to the UFL than what meets the eye. Something that we don't know. They are a mill plus in debt but act like it doesn't worry them (UFL). A very far fetched assumption i def know; but could it very well be true? What do you think?

    Answer:-NO
  • Question:-One of best defensive players in NFL Draft went undrafted?
Mark Herzlich who was the 2008 ACC defensive player of the year predicted as a 1st round draft pick last year. Got cancer, beat cancer and in 2010 season came back and won the Rudy Award and the ACC's Brian Piccolo Award and is now back to form and balled in the senior bowl. He is a beast

now because of the lockout no teams can sign free agents.
    here his story

Answer:-Wow. This is amazing. Thank you sir :)
  • Question:-Who is your favorite team on Madden NFL10?
I'm the Rams and I like to play the franchise mode. The first thing I did was trade Bulgar for draft picks and I really changed the whole team. I'm in my 2nd season now and I'm 7-0 with a rookie QB. I play the ncaa game and save the players off of that to export to Madden during the draft. Then after the draft I record each teams draft picks and look up their info from the rosters online. So I have players on the game as rookies now that will be rookies next year. It's pretty fun to do and I also drafted Ndamukong Suh, Brandon Lafell, Sean Weatherspoon, Sean Lee, Mark Herzlich, Derrick Washington, Perrish Cox and a couple O-linemen. What things do you enjoy doing on madden? Do you play online? If you play online can you play a franchise mode or is it limited to certain modes.

Answer:-You can play an online franchise with a bunch of friends or random people, but it costs extra money to play an online franchise...

tim tebow

  • Question:-Tim Tebow?
Will tim tebow be a future 1st round pick?

Answer:-yes, if he gets good field recognition skills. we didn't see him throw that much this year, but god, he has the tools. he is 230 pounds and managed to shake defensive ends from ohio state. he's mobile, and he has an accurate arm.
time will tell, but i think he could be one of the best prospects in two years.
  • Question:-How do you feel about the Tim Tebow Ad that will air tomorrow during the superbowl?
The Pro-choice group started a petition telling CBS not to air the Ad. We Pro-Lifers also started our petition showing our support. We are overwhelming more in numbers. Face Book has over 215,000 members in a group called "support Tebow's super bowl Ad" The Choice groups don't even have 1000. Thank you America for showing us that we are overwhelmingly PROLIFE and hopefully one day we will overturn Roe vs. Wade.
the question: how do you feel about the Tim Tebow Ad.

Answer:-One liberal after another is added to the supreme court thanks to Obama and Clinton and so it looks like a miracle will be needed to overthrow abortion
  • Question:-Why is tim tebow not taken seriously to be an nfl quarterback?
I am seeing that many people do not think tim tebow is going to have an nfl career. He has won championships and also the heisman trophy which is the highest honor you can get in college football. I just am seeing it confusing that other quarterbacks like mccoy are getting more attention but not has done as much as tebow. What is wrong with tim tebow?

Answer:-Nothings "wrong" with Tim Tebow as a football player. In fact, as just a football player, he's probably the best in the draft. His credentials are strong, but he lacks pro-type experience. At Florida, he only took snaps from the shotgun, but in the NFL you need to be able to take snaps under center. Because of this, he has some faulty footwork. Also, his throwing motion is very long, which is another problem he'll face in the NFL. He hasn't had the benefit in playing in a pro system like Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford. Most people just think his transition will be too much. I personally think he's a good 2nd or 3rd round pick simply because of his ability to just play football, but that's just me.
  • Question:-Does Jacksonville reaching for Tim Tebow in the first really make sense?
A lot of people have been saying that the Jags would reach to take Tebow with their first round pick, but it really makes no sense.

If Tim Tebow doesn't play well, or play at all, how long will it be before the short upswing in ticket sales starts to go back down?

You know what sells tickets? Winning games.

Answer:-Drafting Tebow will do little good if the Jags don't firm up their protection of the quarterback...otherwise, they'd just be trading seeing Gerrard get repeatedly sacked, hurried and knocked down with seeing Tebow being sacked, hurried and knocked down.
  • Question:-should I start tim tebow or aaron rodgers week 16?
Aaron rodgers is returning from a concussion and Tim Tebow had a good game last week.

Answer:-what????A top 5 qb or one of the worst qb's in the league?Rodgers of course.
  • Question:-Is Tim Tebow the most overrated college football player in history?
All anyone wants to talk about is how great Tim Tebow is. But "the greatest college football player in history" PROBABLY won't even go in the first round in the draft. How does that work?

Answer:-yes in my opinion, he is. i dont think its possible to watch a show about college football or a game without hearing his name, usually several times. I'll be glad when he's gone, and not because he's that good, i'm just tired of hearing about him
  • Question:-Where can I order a Tim Tebow Action Figurine?
I want a Tim Tebow figurine that has a removable football uniform from Florida Gators and maybe a Denver Broncos uniform. Or, could you tell me how and who to tell (a company/manufacture) to make this figurine. Thanks for your help.
Remember that this Tim Tebow figurine that I am looking for is "realistic".

Answer:-lol do they really have that? classic! maybe email university of florida and ask, especially their bookstore/shop.
  • Question:-How good will Tim Tebow be in the NFL and when will he get drafted?
I live in Florida and I've always been a gators fan. I think Tim Tebow is a great college player and a great guy. But I always thought he was a little overrated and would do pretty bad in the NFL. Also I don't think he will be drafted early. I was thinking maybe 2nd round to the Jaguars. How good do you think he will be and when do you think he'll be drafted?

Answer:-i think someone will take a chance and draft him in the first round. the Jags seem the most likely give the buzz about him being able to help sell tickets..

who knows how good he will be in the NFL? i think he's a great fit for the wildcat, which seems popular these days. with that in mind, Miami is another team that might take him.. he might end up switching to tight end if he proves that he can catch the ball in practice..

i definitely don't see him starting in the NFL as a QB next year, and i don't think he'll ever be a super star, but he's definitely got what it takes to be a steady back up, and should have a lengthy career in the league.

another option would be the CFL. his style of play would be a better fit up here than in the NFL game. but CFL won't pay much money...
  • Question:-Where can I buy a hat like Tim Tebow wears during his interviews?
My husband is a big Tim Tebow fan and I would like to find the knit hat with the blue Nike swish on it. I've looked for it on several websites and have had no luck finding it. Appreciate it a lot! Thanks in advance.
Well, I tried Sports Authority online and all it had was Adidas ones( which would be fine) and DicksSporting Goods did not have any online. BTW, we don't live in CO, but are big fans! =) Thanks so far!

Answer:-you can buy it on Ebay.
  • Question:-What team do you think will draft Tim Tebow and what position?
I see Tim Tebow being a runningback. It's gonna be like a Joshua Cribbs situation where he goes from quarterback to something fast with a wildcat quarterback.

Answer:-I think he'll go to the Colts, Pats or Packers. And he's getting drafted as a quarter back. Anyone who says other wise is an idiot. No one is going to draft a Heisman winner and then not even look at what he spent the past four years doing. If it doesn't work out, maybe he'll be converted to a tight end or full back. He's not a wide receiver. My God.
