  Answer:-I have often decorated tall indoor plants with those tiny white lights. They give off a soft light that doesn't look particularly Christmasy. I usually leave them on throughout the nite as they light the way to other parts of the house when all is dark in the middle of the night.
  
  I wouldn't use them over fabric for any length of time as they might scorch the fabric if it came into direct contact.

  I am looking to buy some new christmas lights for outdoor use. Maybe some isicle lights or something. I just want to know what to look for when purchasing the lights. I have had way too many experiences with the lights burning out or not working after one season. What are the best lights to get and where can I find them?   Answer:-If you want long life go for LED lights. The globes themselves will last for about 20yrs. Where they will fail is in the cable and the connections, so go for some with a thicker cable, strong joins and preferably with the cable loomed (bundled) together the give the whole thing some strength.
  If you are going to use them outside make sure they are the 12v or 24v version for safety.
  As with all bud style lighting handle with care when installing, dismantaling and storing and it will last you many seasons. Remember one small snag is enough to ruin the whole chain.
  As to where to find them most stores stock them these days you can even get them at discount stores, China is flooding the market with cheap LED at the moment. Hope this helps.

  Answer:-i'd like to know that also. i've used little sticky tabs with velcro and clips to hold them up (got them at walmart) but they fell down after a few weeks (the stickiness wore off). i've also tried a hot glue gun every few feet and that lasted a little longer but i still had a few give out after a month or so. if it's only for a single event, and you don't have time or can't find those sticky tab/velcro/clip things, i would go with a hot glue gun. make sure the glue blob wraps around the wires because the wires can pop out of the glue pretty easily. this should be adequate for the party but if somebody else has a more permanent solution, i'd be happy to know about it also.

  Answer:-I think it means that lights can add that extra sparkle to the tree. They make the tree stand out from anything else in your house, because it is so bright and illuminated. Also, the way the lights reflect off the ornamnts really draws your eye to the tree and it really makes the tree come alive :) Can't wait to put my tree back up again!

  Favre announced early that he was coming back. It seems like he is more excited to come back this time. That bodes well for the team.
  Also since this is the second season for the coaching staff, I would expect that the players will be more comfortable and the coaches will better use the player's talents.
  
  But the best thing we have going is just how bad our division is. 4 games against Minnesota and Detroit. Who could ask for more. Sure, the Bears are tough, but no matter what the Packers schedule looks like, they don't have to be a great team to win 9 or even 10 games.

  Answer:-I'm a sophomore at Altoona. Honestly, I love it SO much. It's only an hour from main campus so the option of attending games is always there.
  
  This campus is beautiful any time of the year. The classes are smallish (my largest [the Gen-Eds] are about 80 kids) and the professors actually care about us.

  Talk to your house corporation board, they will know if there is any way for you to get official sorority housing. If you getting a house would make you the only sorority with a house, Panhellenic will have a problem with it. Dues will go up if you get a house.
  
  To circumvent all the issues (and get a house quickly) have a few sisters get together and rent a house. Work around the zoning restrictions. You won't get the official sorority house designation, but you can hold sisterhood events there.

  Answer:-Yeah you're going to want to cut that intro down hun! They get tens of thousands of applications yearly, so it takes a long time to read anything. Basically, have a short intro introducing yourself, explain a few qualities about yourself in the body (using real world examples) and then wrap it up with a nice little conclusion. Short and sweet is the way to go! Keep it basic but also make sure you can get your points across and make your personality shine through, and you will be fine!

  I just don't know what campus to go to? I'm planning on going to that campus for two years, and then going to University Park for my Junior and Senior years.

  Answer:-I, too, don't understand the math and why you're planning for 6 years to complete your bachelor's degree. But assuming you start at a Penn State branch and end up at main campus, you're best bet is to attend a branch that has a bachelor's degree in Physics and/or Astronomy. Otherwise, there may not be many physics or astronomy courses available for you to take before transferring to University Park.
  
  I searched the PSU website for branches that have Astronomy or Physics baccalaureate programs and found only Penn State Erie (The Behrend College) with a listing of Physics as a major. In fact, I don't see Physics listed at University Park as an available major, either, but perhaps there's an explanation for that. As for Astronomy, only University Park appears to have this available, and it is in conjunction with Astrophysics.
  
  Of course, every branch will have plenty of gen eds to choose from. If your choice is based on campus location preference, I recommend Penn State Harrisburg. I earned my master's degree there and I really like that campus for its location, its proximity to a pleasant but not remote surrounding area, and its active campus life. I also like Penn State Altoona and Penn State Berks; Altoona is close to State College, which is a nice feature, and Berks is just a pretty campus.

  Of course, every branch will have plenty of gen eds to choose from. If your choice is based on campus location preference, I recommend Penn State Harrisburg. I earned my master's degree there and I really like that campus for its location, its proximity to a pleasant but not remote surrounding area, and its active campus life. I also like Penn State Altoona and Penn State Berks; Altoona is close to State College, which is a nice feature, and Berks is just a pretty campus.

Unfortunately, there are so many small quakes in California that forecasting one, especially in an active fault zone, is meaningless in the long run. Also, it looks like quakeprediction.com is hedging their bets. Looking at the percentages for the Bay Area, it looks like they're predicting a swarm of quakes, with a 90% or better chance for a quake on five days in a row. If one quake does hit in the next week, that's not just a successful "prediction," it's also four unsuccessful predictions.

  This campus is beautiful any time of the year. The classes are smallish (my largest [the Gen-Eds] are about 80 kids) and the professors actually care about us.

Basically, have a short intro introducing yourself, explain a few qualities about yourself in the body (using real world examples) and then wrap it up with a nice little conclusion. Short and sweet is the way to go! Keep it basic but also make sure you can get your points across and make your personality shine through, and you will be fine!

  Turn right on Juniata Gap Road, follow that to Avalon Road, take Avalon Road to where it ends at 18th street and turn left, you will see a lot of woods, urban clusters of old houses, and a farm, while feeling like you are in the city but outside of it at the same time, follow that as you go into the city, and eventually into the downtown where it becomes Union Avenue, Broad Avenue, 24th Street, Union Avenue again, and eventually Frankstown Road. Soon after it becomes Union Avenue again, you'll exit the downtown area. Take the exit from Frankstown Road to go north on I-99.

  okay in my opinion ghost adventure is way better than ghost hunters. First of all, unlike the ghost hunter crew, the GAC (ghost adventure crew) has less people so the evidence couldn't get contaminated with. I think that since the Ghost adventure crew takes more of a emotional approach when they investigate, is the reason why they get way more evidence than ghost hunters. i think that ghost hunters hardly get any evidence and overall is just to boring to watch. Whereas ghost adventure is exciting and i believe all the evidence they catch is TRUE! so GHOST ADVENTURE IS BETTER!

  I use to like Ghost Hunters but after watching so many shows some of it seems a little hokey. Like why is it always the light they can turn off but can't do anything else. Some of the things I just don't believe are ghosts. But, how do they do it with the light?
  
  Answer:-I think sometimes it is a little over the edge, but at the same time, if you weren't a believer before the show and you're watching it, expecting it to turn you into a believer...you're just gonna end up thinking its fake. Its isn't always real, but I don't think that its always fake either. The live ones? Those are fake. There was one where they set up a camera and there was a head at the end of the hallway peeking out, I doubt that was fake. Some things are hard to fake.

Also working with EMF meters can require that there not be much electrical devices and fixtures on so they do not get false readings. Ghosts and spirits are energy and you are more likely to get an accurate reading without power being on though you can still investigate it is a bit more accurate with it off.

  Answer:-All I could get was that the family's name which was Snedekers. Carmen Snedekers gave an interview to CNN to talk about the house. Reed is Carmen Snedeker’s maiden name. Reed said she wanted to protect the privacy of her family and grandchildren so she did not want to use their names
• Question:-Where is the house and hospital in The Haunting in Connecticut?
  Supposedly the new film "The Haunting in Connecticut" is a true story about a family that moved from Southington, CT to a house closer to the hospital where one of the family members was receiving treatment. Does anyone know where the house and hospital are (were)? Which hospital was it?
  
  Answer:-I believe it was Bradley Hospital. The house is located in Southington even though it says northern connecticut. It is located at 208 meriden ave. The family actually moved TO Southington from a different area i believe. This house was once Aikman mortuary and funeral home. It is not a place you can visit, a family does live there today. I have lived in Southington my whole life and live just a few streets over from this house. There have been stories of paranormal activity in the house but nothing to the extent of the family who was supposedly haunted.

  Answer:-Yes, I first heard about it on the Discovery channel, the have a daily show called A Haunting.

  it will be called the Haunting in Georgia. i really liked the haunting in connecticut, and i cant picture a haunting in georgia. do you think the movie will ruin a haunting in connecticut?
  
  Answer:-I, overall LOVED A Haunting in Connecticut.
  
  Actually I've been doing some researching about Haunting in Georgia and somewhere I had read that the people who produced the MOVIE A Haunting in Connecticut was actually based it on an episode in the series Haunting. I actually had also came across a dvd of the episode in the TV series a Haunting called The Haunting in Georgia, too, but I didn't rent it. (seeing that I was in a video rental store) But I think that the movie, A Haunting in Georgia will be similar, i not better than the episode. If it's the same producers of A Haunting in Connecticut, and since it has nothing in relation to the previous movie, I'm sure it will be good. :)

  I am a scary-movie goer. But I don't like scary movies like Halloween or Friday 13th. In other words, I HATE slasher movies, they aren't really that scary to me.
  
  I like ones like the Unborn or the Amityville Horror. I saw The Haunting in Connecticut documentary and saw the trailer a couple days ago. It seems pretty good. Is it worth watching?
  
  Answer:-I liked it. It was especially interesting that the house it took place in (the one the film is based on) is in my hometown about 3 miles away.

  My daughter wanted to see the movie HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT, Shes 10 years old but i don't know if its such a good idea to let her see it. If someone could just give me a brief summary of the movie that would be great.
  
  Answer:-There is no sexuality or nudity in it. It is about a family that moves into a house to be closer to the hospital that is treating their son for cancer. The house turns out to be haunted. It is suppose to be based on a true story from the 70's. There's a few scenes that may be considered gory for a 10 year old, but as long as she knows it's not real I think it would be fine. I found it to be incredibly boring, but I'm 21.

  I saw the trailer for the movie The Haunting In Connecticut last night on TV and I am looking forward to the movie,it is posed to be based on true events that have happened to people,I am going to get it on DVD when it comes out on DVD,I like to watch movies in my room.
  
  Answer:-Honestly i can't wait to see it i think i am going to watch it in the theaters when it comes out to release in theaters. I own amity ville horror the one made in 2005. I think it the movie kind of like it might relate a little bit or maybe a lot to the amity ville horror movie

  me and my sister want to go on like a double date with our boyfriends to see the Haunting in Connecticut over spring break, like april 18th probably, and i'm starting to wonder if it will still be in theaters by then. google isn't helping me lol.

  I just saw it yesterday, and it sucked, it wasn't scary at all, there were a few jumpy parts, but other than that, some of the acting was pretty bad
