I found some christmas lights laying around my houes and I am needing some ideas on how to use them... such as decoration.

Answer:-Yes I have! My family and I drove by a few parks in downtown Milwaukee this afternoon. They were beautiful. Lots of blues and whites.
There are a few other light displays around that we'll be going to that raise money for children's charities and such. Always lots of fun. Answer:-I have often decorated tall indoor plants with those tiny white lights. They give off a soft light that doesn't look particularly Christmasy. I usually leave them on throughout the nite as they light the way to other parts of the house when all is dark in the middle of the night.
I wouldn't use them over fabric for any length of time as they might scorch the fabric if it came into direct contact. - Question:-What are the best christmas lights to use that wont burn out quickly?
I am looking to buy some new christmas lights for outdoor use. Maybe some isicle lights or something. I just want to know what to look for when purchasing the lights. I have had way too many experiences with the lights burning out or not working after one season. What are the best lights to get and where can I find them? Answer:-If you want long life go for LED lights. The globes themselves will last for about 20yrs. Where they will fail is in the cable and the connections, so go for some with a thicker cable, strong joins and preferably with the cable loomed (bundled) together the give the whole thing some strength.
If you are going to use them outside make sure they are the 12v or 24v version for safety.
As with all bud style lighting handle with care when installing, dismantaling and storing and it will last you many seasons. Remember one small snag is enough to ruin the whole chain.
As to where to find them most stores stock them these days you can even get them at discount stores, China is flooding the market with cheap LED at the moment. Hope this helps. - Question:-How to hang Christmas Lights on the inside of my screened Lanai?

Answer:-i'd like to know that also. i've used little sticky tabs with velcro and clips to hold them up (got them at walmart) but they fell down after a few weeks (the stickiness wore off). i've also tried a hot glue gun every few feet and that lasted a little longer but i still had a few give out after a month or so. if it's only for a single event, and you don't have time or can't find those sticky tab/velcro/clip things, i would go with a hot glue gun. make sure the glue blob wraps around the wires because the wires can pop out of the glue pretty easily. this should be adequate for the party but if somebody else has a more permanent solution, i'd be happy to know about it also. - Question:-How did the whole christmas lights decoration begin?

Answer:-I think it means that lights can add that extra sparkle to the tree. They make the tree stand out from anything else in your house, because it is so bright and illuminated. We have a small pine that my husband left Christmas lights on for over a year. I recently noticed that it is dying and some needles and branches are turning brown. I had my husband take the lights off, but I want to know if there is anything else we can do to help restore this tree. I heard that 7 up works. - Question:-How does Jay Cutler play so well behind such a terrible offensive line and with a bad offense?
Let's face it the way he played last night was the only reason why the Bears were able to hang in there with the Lions last night. If he had a better o-line and some weapons he'd probably be even better and maybe so would the Bears. Jay Cutler has sort of earned my respect a bit because of that. *Tips my hat off to the guy*.
Answer:-He earned respect from me as well. He's a lot better than most people give him credit for. - Question:-Was Jay Cutler actually a bright light in the dark forest that is the Chicago Bears?
Lets face it, the Bears suck and they proved it last night. But I have a new found respect for Jay Cutler. He is definately not the problem in Chicago. That Offensive Line is the biggest problem. Jay Cutler and Matt Forte are the only good things going for that offense.

If the Cowboys or Rams couldnt win it though, I would like to see the Bears go all the way, Cutler deserves it after all the crap he's gotten and I've always liked Urlacher. - Question:-What would happen if I wore a Jay Cutler jersey to a Broncos game at Arrowhead?
I might be going to a Chiefs game at Arrowhead and they are Playing the Broncos. I still have my Jay Cutler Bronco jersey and I want to wear it to the game because he is my favorite quarterback.

The Bears will be upgrading their team through free agency and through the draft. Signing Orlando Pace was a great start. Matt Forte & Cutler will help eachother out. The Bears receivers are nothing special right now, but hopefully Earl Bennett will step up as he has a history with Cutler. Hester is a great deep threat to compliment Cutler's strong arm. I think someone like Brian Robiski from Ohio State would help the Bears out the most, along with a vet like Tory Holt if he doesn't sign somewhere else. - Question:-Should i start Jay Cutler over Matt Schaub in week 1?
Jay Cutler is playing a big game on sunday against Green Bay and should do pretty good. Matt Schaub injured his ankle but is goin to play in week 1. I think Rex Ryan defense is goin to trouble Schaub. What you guys think?
Answer:-Schaub averaged 320 YPG passing the last 4 games of '08 and has one of the best receivers and receiving tight ends in the game at his disposal.
Cutler is a quality QB but has no proven targets other than Forte. Schaub gets the nod until Cutler proves himself with the Bears.

The news media often over hypes stories but the situation at Penn State is getting pretty ugly.
It seems to me that the crowd at the Nebraska game will be impossible to control by security if things get out of hand. And, I've read some news reports that protests at the game are being organized.
Whether you agree with the firing of Paterno or not, do you think the Nebraska @ Penn State game is at risk of forfeiture or postponement because of possible student protester violence?
Answer:-There were news items today about the Nebraska AD and others expressing concern about the security at the game. And, there are news stories about the Penn State campus police getting assistance from the state police and private companies to beef up security at the game.

Channukah occurs on the 25th of Kislev (a month on the Jewish calendar). The Jewish calendar is lunar based, so there are 12-13 months due to the 12.4 month solar cycle...when putting Channukah on the Christian calendar the date changes each year since there are only 12 months on that calendar. But Kislev is always around December, so Channukah can fall on the end of November through around Christmas. I'm getting mixed answers about weather in Colorado Springs. I need to know what a typical year January-December is like. Are thunderstorms common? Tornadoes? What months does it snow? and how much snow can I expect? Is there much humidity? how long does summer typically last? and how hot does it get in the summers? Is there a durastic change in the day vs. night time? And any other information about moving will be helpful. (schooling, crime.ect.) Thank You!
Answer:-seriously, the weather is very unpredictable. we get our first snow in about september, and then the last one in may. but then mixed in with all the snow in the winter is 70 degree days in january. in the summer (especially july) it rains daily at about 3:00 pm with thunder and lightning. it's not humid at all (people complain if it gets above 25% humidity). but yes, there is a very drastic change from day to night. even if it gets to 90 degrees during the day, it'll drop at least to 60 at night.
some other info: not much crime. district 20, 38, and 12 schools are great! 11 and 49 are overcrowded and have some sub-standard schools and teachers. i'm not sure which part you're coming to so i can't really tell you anything about a specific school... but i've lived here for half my life so anything else you want to know just ask! - Question:-Colorado weather??

Colorado does get cold in the winter time, they are not humid ever, usually, depends on which part of Colorado you go to, the eastern portions can get a dry line that brings dew points to the 50's, but no where near the 60's and 70's you are used too. Denver is pleasant in the summer, only a few days reach 100, and it's a pleasant dry heat. If you are in the mountains, expect cool summers, 80's usually, 40's for lows. Winter's good luck anywhere in Colorado, record lows have dipped all the way down to -60 before...I've never felt that, but if you spit, it will be a ball of ice before it hits the ground. - Question:-Winter road trip from Seattle to Colorado weather conditions?

Answer:-I live in London, it is horrific here. My friend's house got burnt down two nights ago. I have seen things unfit for a 17 year old. This is truly horrific. The rioters claim to be fighting the police (over a retaliation of a killing of a black man in North London) however, not a single police station has been touched. Some local shop owners took the matter into their own hands and formed a community protection to defend their own community. I have signed up for the clean up and a lot of people across the country are participating.
The original riot was actually a protest march organised by the victim's family and friends, however when they got no answers the crowd got rowdy. A 16 year old black girl threw an object the police and the police apparently knocked her down. This incensed the crowd and they got out of control, set two police cars on fire, set a bus on fire and broke into shops. Needless to say word travels fast, I found out within two hours and on the news I could see images of Tottenham (original place of the riot) up in flames. Some people from other parts of London went to partake in the rioting and looting.
The very next day, Brixton (tough area in South London) looted the stores at night time, and Wandsworth joined in too (South London again). South London is a very poor area and it has got a huge black population so it was inevitable for the riots & looting not to come to South London. I live in South London (Croydon) and my city experienced the worst fires. I had to walk home from one side of Croydon to the other because there were no buses running. It was truly dreadful. There is a gang problem in London, however all gangs have put their problems aside to loot together side by side. The third night was the worst night, the fourth night was much calmer in London but horrific in other places of England. They had Scott Hall impersonated in the HBK Kennedy skit. He was in the Raw banner for Greatest Raw Superstar. I have seen Raw show at least 5 clips of Razor Ramon when they had Raw's 15th anniversary. Never before have I seen WWE show Scott Hall so much. I actually think WWE should sign him. He could come back and attack HBK and they could have HBK vs Scott Hall in a Ladder match. It makes sense.

Answer:-Yeah I heard the news just last week. In my opinion, it's getting ridiculous. If his health is so bad that they want him to be in a health unit, then he should not be competing in wrestling events. Hopefully Scott will get back on the right path.
