What do you think they need to adress first?
  
  BQ: If there is a lockout next year, will there still be a 2011 and 2012 NFL draft?
  
  Answer:-They might take a receiver if there is a great value available but they are clearly not having any trouble throwing the ball. If they do take one to serve as a deep threat it'll be a guy taken lower in the draft who plays humble like the rest of their guys, not a big shot early in the draft who might not block or work as hard.
  
  They always do such a good job of stashing picks that I think they can really just afford to take the best value available at each of their slots without really having to pick for need, they are the best team in the NFL so far this season after all so it's not like they really have gaping holes to fill.

  even if you don't like brett favre, you gotta respect the man. yeah, he's got a lot of INT, but he's also got a lot of TDs. when you think green bay packers, you think brett favre, not vince lombardi or bart starr. the guy is one of the toughest to ever play the game. he's left a strong and lasting legacy. where would you rank him among the all time greats? and should he be a first ballot hall of famer?
  
  Answer:-Lots of people still think of Lombardi when they think of the Packers. Lombardi's Packer legacy leaves Farve's in the dust. Of course, one would need a good history book to know that, ESPN doesn't talk about Lombardi.
  
  Farve is over-rated, but only because he's been called the greatest QB of all time, which he isn't. He is a great, great QB however, and he will be a first ballot HOF'er. The football HOF has screwed a lot of players in terms of the amount of time it took some of them to get in, but I think that Farve will be voted in as soon as he becomes eligible for the honor.
  
  In terms of where I'd rank him among the all time greats, I would put Montana, Unitas, Bradshaw, Staubach, Marino, Brady and Elway ahead of him, at least...there might be a couple that I fogot about, but not too many that I missed.
  
  Farve deserves a lot of credit for his streak as well. Most 'streak' records really don't mean anything, and maybe this one doesn't either, but I still have to respect the fact that he went out there for 250+ games in a row (including playoff games) ...even if he does only play once a week LOL
  
  Seriously, the streak is impressive.
  
  In terms of QBs who won only one championship as a starter, Farve is probably as good or better than any of them. He's certainly better than the one-year QB wonders (i.e. one-time Super Bowl winners) of the last 20 years or so... Thinking about other QB's who won one championship as a starter (during the Super Bowl era), the best of them include Joe Namath, Ken Stabler, Joe Theissman and Len Dawson. I'm inclined to think that Farve is better than any of them.

I think you are over-thinking Favre's impact on the Vikings team.

• Question:-Can I bake green bean casserole tonight, stick it in the fridge and nuke it in the microwave tomorrow?
  I was asked to bring the green bean casserole to Thanksgiving dinner at my parents' house tomorrow (the generic recipe w/ green beans, milk, pepper, and cream of mushroom soup), and I really don't want to get up early tomorrow to bake it. Will it be ok if I bake it now, allow it to sit in the fridge overnight and bring it to the family's house to nuke in the microwave tomorrow afternoon? It's either that or bake it in the morning and have to drive an hour with a hot casserole dish, and it will still have to be reheated before dinner tomorrow. Will it be ok to refrigerate it overnight or will it be nasty? Thanks!
  
  Answer:-no, i think it will be okay. one thing, though - if you put those canned fried onions on top, do that when you get to your parents house and then reheat it in the oven so they stay crispy. the microwave will make them soggy & gross. happy thanksgiving!

  Answer:-Go to the grocery store and buy a small square tinfoil pan that is disaposable and bake it in that. You can also microwave everything and then finish the toasted onions in the toaster oven and sprinkle on top.

  Answer:-Use french cut frozen green beans. Canned french cut ones work OK too, but I think the frozen ones have better flavor and more vitamins.
  
  It also helps if the casserole is kept covered (with a lid, or foil) until the last 10 minutes. Keeping it covered for most of the cooking time prevents the beans from getting too dry!
  
  And removing the cover at the end allows it to brown properly on top. :)

  - Prep Time: 7 minutes
  - Cooking Time: 35 minutes
  - 8 servings

  1 can (14.5 ounces) Butterball Chicken Broth (you can also use turkey broth instead, if you have it handy 'cause you are cooking a turkey).
  
  1 can (10.5 ounces) Marie Callender's Cream of Mushroom Soup
  
  1 bag (16 ounces) frozen French cut green beans
  
  1 can (8 ounces) La Choy Sliced Water Chestnuts, or 8 oz slivered almonds.
  
  1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  
  1 bag (6 ounces) Butterball Stuffing
  
  1/4 cup butter,
  
  Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  
  2. In a large bowl, combine Butterball Broth and Marie Callender's Soup; mix until well blended. Add remaining ingredients except Butterball Stuffing and butter; blend well. Pour into a greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish; set aside.

  Answer:-Speaking from experience, no you do not automatically double all of the ingredients. You are right on track when you question doubling the milk. When I doubled the milk it got too soupy and I ended up tripling it and the not adding more milk. I would recommend you put in about 1 1/2 times the milk originally called for and then see how the consistency is. If it is far too gloppy then add a tablespoon of milk at a time until you like the consistency.
  
  Also, you would bake for the original amount of time listed at the original temperature.

  Answer:-You have to cook the beans first. The original recipe calls for canned, but yuck. Frozen work OK but fresh are the best. Just blanch them in boiling salted water until just slightly underdone. Then put them in the casserole with the other ingredients. Should turn out fine.

  2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  1/2 cup crumbled buttery round crackers

  Transfer the mixture to a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Spread shredded cheese over the top. In a small bowl, toss together cracker crumbs and remaining butter, and sprinkle over the cheese.

I love Fords, have owned several Mustangs over the years, and enjoy them for their history and the ability to make them more personal nowdays with all the aftermarket parts available to them, but when it comes to my racing. I grew to prefer Tony stewart, my favorite driver becuase he represented the closest thing there is to old school drivers. He is not politically correct, easily gets ticked off, and can race anything, raced a few years in open wheels and Indy cars, and reminds me more of Foyt/Andretti.
  
  So there are various reasons as to why someone pics a favored driver. My love of ponycars shoul dmake me want to pul for Roush because he builds his own line of Mustangs, but I pull for Stewart all the time!

  Answer:-I think his crew chief is pretty good so yes. He was the crew chief that was helping Tony Eury Jr last year with Dale Jr when Tony and Dale first came to HMS. While he was there Dale did good. Also so when he left Dale started struggling.
  
  So yes Tony Stewart stands a good chance of winning a championship. He's already running better than I expected. It appears he has a good crew chief.

  Tiki didn't get a training camp contract but he did workout for the Dolphins. I didn't read about any other teams taking a look at him.
  
  But there may be some tepid interest out there for him. With the new CBA, if a vested veteran (4 years or more) has a contract before the week 1 game, his team is obligated to pay his entire yearly salary regardless of how long he remains on the team. After game 1, if a vested veteran is signed, the team is no longer obligated to pay the full year contract if the guy is later cut.
  
  Since Tiki is a 10 year veteran, his minimum salary for a 1 year contract would be $975,000.
  
  I can envision a team wanting to sign an experienced RB after week 1, especially if they lose a starter to injury. So it's possible Tiki could get some looks after the first week's games.
  
  However, I don't think it will happen since there are many quality RB's on practice squads and others who were late training camp cuts that could be signed for a lot less. The minimum salary for a free agent rookie contract is $375,000.

  If there's something that Bush, Tiki and Westbrook have in common is that they were outstanding college players but undersized for the NFL and with good hands.
  
  Barber and Westbrook became stars as they approached their 30s. Does Bush still have a chance?
  
  Answer:-Theres always a chance, but I find it very unlikely.
  
  Like Westbrook and Barber, Bush has great speed, agility, and vision. When you watch him return kicks or get into open space, these traits make him exciting to watch. As an Eagles fan, any time Westbrook is back to return a kick, I get excited because I expect a big play, and he rarely disappoints.
  
  The difference is that Westbrook and Barber were much better pure runningbacks. Bush is more of a kick returner who is lining up at RB than a RB who can catch and kick return. He doesn't have the power or ability to run between the tackles and run over/elude defenders that Barber and Westbrook possess. If you watch Westbrook or Barber play, they rarely take a hit on squarely. They always manage to be just that half step away from the defender that allows them to break a tackle for a big gain. They will break ankles from time to time, and will run someone over occasionally, but a high majority of their yards after contact are achieved because they have that great first move that gives them just enough space to get away from defenders without making significant contact. Bush doesnt do that - he either tries to break ankles on every contact situation or tries to run over the defender (which never works with him). If he can learn to get that quick, elusive first step that limits contact, he can be productive.
  
  Even so, if utilized properly, there is no doubt that Bush could be a volatile weapon. The problem is that he isn't a feature back, and he never will be. He's a great change of pace or 3rd down back, but he won't ever be an every down back like a Westbrook or Barber. He simply lacks the necessary running power and elusiveness.

  The greatest motor racing film ever made for me is "Le Mans". The storyline still isn't oscar-winning stuff, but the mistakes are kept to a minimum and the onboard footage is stunning.

  Answer:-Because he is good. He played safety in High School so he brings the pass-covering ability to the Middle Linebacker position. In his beginning seasons, he was the first LB to become a threat at both the run and pass. And as many people say, he is fast. It's true, he can stare down and just take out Michael Vick with no problem. And he's an inspiration. He led the team huddle talks that got Chicago the Victory in Arizona. And he stipped the ball from Edgerin James (who used to never fumble). So yeah, he's good. Some say he will go into the Hall of Fame his first year. That's L.T. and Junior Seau good. But don't worry, your boy Ray Lewis might get into the HoF, someday.

  Answer:-Urlacher would not look right in anything other than a Bears jersey. But, this is a business, so who knows what will happen. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't take him at his word, which is that he wants to remain in Chicago. Other than a handful of teams (Pats, Colts, Chargers), the NFL has become an extremely fickle league. The Bears were in the Super Bowl just 2 years ago. This situation kinda reminds me of Strahan last season. He thought about retirement, though most people believed he was just holding out for more money (which he still might have been). Nobody picked the Giants to do anything. They had a terrible second half the prior season, backed into the playoffs and lost to Philly in the first round, then Tiki retired, they don't pick up any big free agents, they hire a new defensive coordinator and then the Strahan thing. And what happened? They won the Super Bowl. Get them a good QB, and who knows what the Bears could do next season? I doubt that Urlacher would want out because he doesn't think the Bears can win.

  Answer:-Yes, with the exception of Eli Manning, the best quarterback every offseason is the guy who won the Super Bowl. Brady and Manning are constants, but look at what winning the big one has done for Roethlisberger, Brees, and Rodgers. It seems to give them the jump from good to elite. If the Cowboys or Rams couldnt win it though, I would like to see the Bears go all the way, Cutler deserves it after all the crap he's gotten and I've always liked Urlacher.

  Answer:-I had to do it in high school. We wore a key around our wrists (that we couldn't get off, unless cut and that would be an automatic fail). There was a keyhole in the baby's back and when the baby cried you had to put the key in, turn and hold it. When the baby gave another short cry, you could take the key out. The length of time depended on the "activity" the crying simulated. It varied from about one minute (diaper change) to 20 (feeding) and you had to hold the key the whole time. If you didn't or if you threw the baby, dropped it, hit it etc it would show up as abuse. It was even possible to "kill" the baby. I took it for a weekend and comparing it to caring for my daughter, it was fairly realistic. You get a carseat and/or stroller and have to take the baby everywhere with you, as it could cry at anytime. I didn't think it was hard, just a pain in the butt. If you take it, make sure you treat it carefully, like a real infant. Plan a weekend in and sleep with it in your bed so you hear it cry. • Question:-Is it hard to take care of live aquarium plants?
  I have all artificial plants and i think i would like to switch to live plants. But i don't want them to be a hassle. Some people say they are easy to take care of and some people say they are hard to take care of. I don't want to buy all these chemicals for the plants, i already have to deal with other chemicals the fish need. So can i have plants with just lighting and the water conditioner that's already in my tank?
  If i got them what are the NECESSARY things i would need to do to take care of the plants.
  
  Answer:-Adequate lighting is the most important factor for growing aquarium plants.
  
  >1.5 watts/gallon, with 'full-spectrum' florescent lamps will produce good results. Make sure that the lamps you use say "Aquarium Use", they have the ability to deliver full spectrum light thru the aquarium water.
  
  Most tanks have inadequate co2 levels, and adding co2 with a simple 'bubbler' will produce a noticable change in plant growth.
  
  Liquid fertilizer is easy to use, but I don't find it necessary.
  
  ADD: The substrate is important. You need to use gravel, sand will not work with live plants. There are better substrates than gravel, like 'Florite', but are not neccessary and are relatively expensive.
• Question:-How to take care of a baby cockatiel bird?
  I have a baby cockatiel that was abandoned by his parents in the cage and the parents won't nurture it so i decided to be the one to take care of him. But i don't know what to feed him or formula to mix and give him. So if someone can give me some tips to take care of a baby cockatiel, that would be very helpful.
  
  Answer:-If the parents kicked it out of the nest and are still taking care of the others, chances are there is an undetected health problem with the bird and it won't survive to adulthood.
  
  That being said, your local pet store will have a formula you can buy and mix at home. Feed the baby tiel with an eye dropper. Giving it some plain yogurt will also put some good bacteria in it's stomach if you end up needing to give it antibiotics. Also make sure everything that even goes near it gets sanitized thoroughly.
• Question:-How do you take care of a baby bird hatchling?
  I just recently found a baby bird hatchling in my front yard. It seems to be very young (no feathers and its eyes are closed shut) and I'm not quite sure how to take care of it.   Determine whether a featherless baby bird has fallen out of its nest.
  Step2
  Put the bird back in the nest if you can reach it.
  Step3
  Carefully place the bird in a box or paper bag lined with soft tissues if you cannot put the bird back into the nest or if you do not know where the nest is.
  Step4
  Poke holes into the box lid or bag to admit air.
  Step5
  Keep the box or bag in a moderately warm place.
  Step6
  Contact a licensed rehabilitator to care for the bird.
  Step7
  Contact the local Audubon Society, Humane Society or a local veterinarian for advice if you do not have a wildlife rehabilitation organization in your area.

  Answer:-Planting
  Lavender can be planted singly, when the full beauty of its dome-shaped habit can be appreciated, or as a hedge. You will be rewarded with two or three months of summer colour, and attractive foliage throughout the year.
  
  For a hedge, allow 12-18 inches (30-45cm) between plants, depending on the variety.
  
  If the soil is at all acid, use lots of lime when planting and then an annual top dressing. On heavy soils, line a deep trench with shingle for better draining and add plenty of sand to the soil.
  
  Feeding
  Most plants enjoy a little manure, and it will certainly help to establish healthy plants quickly. High potassium feed promotes flowering, but too rich a soil may result in limp, over-leafed plants.
  
  Pruning
  Cut back well after flowering – at least to leaf level – to maintain a compact and tidy bush.

  Answer:-This is the reason some people should NOT breed!! You are not prepared for the consequences of your actions.
  
  You hen may be to young(under 2yrs of age). Or she is not being given the proper foods to sustain all the babies she has. By this i mean soft foods like scrambled eggs, pasta, rice, veggies, etc.
  
  Parents need more then just seeds to eat to maintain a level of immune systems for themselves and to feed their young. It also has to be broken down in their own digestive systems twice (in the beginning, the first few days of life) from the male to the female and then the female breaks it down again to feed the babies. In the wild, during this time, they forage on grubs, which are so much higher in proteins so the parents can maintain their own systems plus the feeding schedules of their hectic lives of their young.
  
  Apparently you were not prepared for all of this before placing a box on your pair. As a result, you had to endure the heart break which often i try to explain before hand. Making sure a pair is in tip top shape so people don't have to go through all this heartache is part of why i try to educate people on the diets of the avian species. So sorry you had to experience this.
  
  At this point you need to offer the pair a better diet. Petamine is located in just about every pet store. If the pair think you are interfereing to much with the box or their cage, she will kill the babies. Give them as much privacy as you can. Don't check the nest box, feed, water and leave them be.

  I would like some info on programs that allow volunteers to take home and care for wild animals in need temporarily (rabbits, bears, wolf pups, etc.) I want to be involved in the actual care of the animal behind just sending money. Obviously I would go to training beforehand, but what program offers this?
  
  Answer:-You can go to an animal rescue centre and volunteer. If you want to do this in the future, that's what you'll need to do anyway because it's illegal to take animals from the wild and keep them as a pet. Although you may have the intention of hand rearing it, at the end of the day, the law might not see it like that.
