- Question:-Weather in Los Angeles during the summer?
I'm planning to take a trip there to visit The Grove sometime in the summer, I live in New York so I'm a bit more used to colder weather.
What is the average degrees around the Los Angeles area during the summer?
Thanks :)
Answer:-Depends, where in Los Angeles.
If your going near the beach 70-80s
If your going to the valleys 90-100s.
If your going downtown 80-90s.
Los Angeles has an intense microclimate. - Question:-Do you enjoy the weather in Los Angeles?
I enjoy the weather right now. Normally I don't like it when it's windy but with rain and a possible chance of a Thunder storm it's all good. My reason is simple. One word "Kirin."
Do you live in Los Angeles?
At the current moment do you enjoy the weather in Los Angeles? Why or why not?
What weather do you like best? Why?
Answer:-Kirin in the city. That's not a good idea.
I live in Japan you know that. It's cold here 46 degrees.
I'm sure you do. I like the rain, but not when it's raining hard.
I like the nice drizzle of a spring or summer rain. The warm summer afternoon when I go swimming. I also really like it in late March or early April when the Cherry Trees Blossom. - Question:-How is the weather in Los Angeles now?
I am in Brazil, in Paranavaí, which is a beautiful city that is in the place most chic and richest of Brazil in the south, I feel like I'm in Europe because people are similar to English and Italian!
Well, I'm in Paranavaí, and is very cold want to know how's the weather in Los Angeles, my hometown!
Answer:-Hot, Smoggy, Dry, and with little to no clouds . - Question:-does anyone Know if there is a city in the US with similar weather as los angeles?
I would like to move yet I would like to find a state and city with similar weather as in Los Angeles Ca is there one out there? how can I find one?
Answer:-If you're looking for someplace subtropical, not too humid, not blazingly hot, and not California some possibilities might be Las Cruces, New Mexico or San Antonio, Texas. - Question:-How can I find out what the weather was in Los angeles on May12th 2009?
How can I find out what the weather was in Los angeles on May12th 2009?
Answer:-On May 12th, 2009 in Los Angeles the High was 74 and the low temperature was 59. - Question:-What is the weather like in Los Angeles in august?
I am probably going to Los Angeles in August this summer. obviously i cant check the weather for august because it is too far away! please help!
Answer:-Usually it's quite hot, depending on what area of LA you are in. The highs near the beaches can be 20 - 30+ degrees less than the highs in the valleys. We're having a cooler beginning to summer, so no idea what will happen in August. Pack shorts and tshirts and a lightweight hoodie and jeans for the evenings in case it's cool and you'll be fine.
Have fun! - Question:-Weather in los angeles in early april?
Im going to los angeles/aneheim for spring break and im wondering what the weather is like. I was hoping to go to the beaches wearing a bikini to lie under the sun since i live in cold seattle. What should i pack? Shorts, tanktops, jackets, etc?
Answer:-Mad Dog...You crack me up. That was a funny answer.
Unfortunately it is a very true answer for this question.
It is mostly colder than heck here during early April. SoCal is not truly a good place to visit for tans before June 30th and after Sept. 15th. The prime time is 7/15 - 8/31. That's 47 days of sweating in the sun. The tourist guides try to promote the year round lifestyle showing sunshine, but that's not reality here. We don't have weather like Des Moines but it still is too chilly to swim and layout and tan on the local beaches.
Bring your bikinis just in case. Bring your levis, shorts, sandals, tennys and hooded sweatshirts. It is a crapshoot as to what the weather will be at this point in April. March and April are so very unpredictable around here. I worked on the beach and somedays it was so freakin' cold I went home and that was in June! - Question:-What is the nicest month for weather in Los Angeles?
In your opinion, what month has the best weather in LA?
Also, on a completely unrelated note, when does spring fever kick in for you in LA?
Answer:-April hands down. The air is clean, the weather is mild, and everything is still green from the winter rainy season.
Mid May to mid June is usually cloudy and overcast. Late summer can be stifling hot, dry, and dusty.
At my old age spring fever is just one of the many things that don't happen the way it used to. - Question:-What's Los Angeles weather like from the middle to the end of June?
Is it t shirt and short weather?
Answer:-it is usually warm. high temps can be anywhere from 70 to 85, which is t shirt and flip flop weather as you call it. - Question:-What's the weather like in los angeles now?
Hi! We are italian and we're going to visit Los Angeles and San Francisco next week, I would be sure about the weather and the clothes to take with us... Which are the temperatures now? What are your wearing? Thank you so much, see you soon!
Answer:-Right now, weather is about 60F and cool. It's supposed to rain the rest of this week.
Check weather.com for next week's temps. Generally, you dress in layers in the spring here.

nba season
- Question:-nba season?
we are almost half way threw the nba season who is your pick to win it all
Answer:-Pheonix, if Nash overcomes the inflammation in his right shoulder and stays healthy for the rest of the season. - Question:-NBA season?
When does the preseason and regular season start in the NBA?
Answer:-Preseason is the end of September-Start of October.
The regular season starts around Halloween. - Question:-Why is the NBA season during the winter?
Isn't basketball a summer sport? So why does the NBA have their season during the winter months? Hockey is a cold weather sport so it is played in the winter, football is played in the fall to experience the warm and cold weather and baseball is a summer sport played in the summer.
Does my logic make sense to anybody else?
Answer:-You must live somewhere warm. Maybe because all of us east coasters are miserable during the winter months and basketball is the one thing I look forward to during the week. It gives me something to watch and keeps me entertained on those cold winter nights. People are more likely to sit in their house in the winter and watch the games. Summer nights people can go out and enjoy the weather. That might have nothing to do with the real reason, but that is my rational. Also, basketball players do have a spoiled lifestyle, and they get the summer months off if you think about it. They probably don't want the winter months off - they get the summer off. - Question:-If the Nba season is cancelled will college basketball be a good enough alternative to basketball fans?
To me watching college basketball is a big drop off compared to Nba games. So if the season is lost there will be nowhere else to see high level bball.
Answer:-I watch college basketball anyway so makes no difference to me. - Question:-How many of you are going to miss the nba season now that it's over for the 2008-2009 season?
I know I will it was a really good season to me.I enjoyed watching every game this year on nba tv,espn, abc, and tnt.
Answer:-I will miss it, but I will be celebrating all off season.
GO LAKERS!!! - Question:-I can't wait till the start of the NBA season! What are your predictions?
I am so desperate for the start of the NBA season that I have been watching highlights of the regular seaon, playoff and finals of my Lakers on YouTube to relive the magic (no pun intended) of the season. What are your predictons on teams, trades, and draft picks? Let me know everything you thing is gonna happen during the 09-10 season.
Answer:-- I'm very excited about this upcoming season!
- Blake Griffin. I can't wait to see the Clipper rookie in action! Heard he's better than Amare.
- There will be another big trade involving the: Celtics, Lakers, Spurs, Cavs, Nuggets, or Magic at some point during the season.
- At least one of the above teams will lose a key star to injury.
- At least four coaches will be fired.
- Allen Iverson will sign with a team.
- Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony will both make the All-Star game.
- Trevor Ariza will have a monster year with the Rockets
- At least one all-star will be traded.
- The Lakers will win the Pacific Division by more than 10 games.
- New NBA Champions. (Lakers will win in 2010-11). There are too many good teams who'll allow the same team win two years in a row. - Question:-What was the funniest play of the 2007 NBA season?
1. Baron Davis embarassing Kirelenko by dunking on him.
2. Gilbert Arenas great showing down the drain after he did well this season and was a nba mvp candidate.
3. Rasheed Wallace being ejected in game 6 of the eastern conference finals on the road in front of a cheering cavaliers crowd.
Answer:-how bout dirks choke act in the playoffs? there are plenty of plays there.
but I would say when nate robinson stuffed yao, that was just insane, that was replayed for like 2 weeks straight. - Question:-Can anyone give me info on the NBA season where they played less than 82 games?
I heard there was an NBA season where there were only like, 50 games played. Why is that? Which season was that? First to give good answer will be awarded 10 points! Thanks!
Answer:-Yeah, it was the 1998-99 season. Due to a lockout, the season did not start until February 5, 1999 after a new six year Collective Bargaining Agreement was reached between the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association. All 29 teams played a shortened 50 game regular season schedule, and the 16 teams who qualified for the playoffs played a full post-season schedule.
I remember that well, and I was pissed because all the squabbling over money. I remember thinking that there wasn't going to be a season at all. The San antonio Spurs won the championship over the New York Knicks 4-1. - Question:-Who will be the Cleveland Cavaliers top scorer and go to guy next nba season?
Without Lebron gone, who will be the Cleveland Cavaliers top scorer and go to guy next nba season?
Answer:-With the cavs being so full of role players I believe JJ Hickson and Jamison will have a nice combo between the two - Question:-does anyone think the nba season will start on time?
will it start on time? will there be an nba season at all?
Answer:-Looks like half the season if not all !!!

I have to take a business trip to State College PA and I am taking my family. We went there two years ago and couldn't do much with the kids aside from swim in the hotel pool and walk the streets and little downtown shops - which we will do again, but looking for other suggestions. My hubby will be stuck in the hotel with the kids - and will definitely need to get out after all of that!
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions!

http://fishandboat.com/hotspots.htm - Question:-If you live or have lived in state college, pa would you recommend it to a family moving there?
My husband has recently taken a job in Pa and it is not at the college, and I was just reading on one of the forums that it is a gloomy little no culture town. Is this true?
Answer:-If you're looking for a safe town with a terrific school district, then State College will fit the bill. It is still somewhat reasonable to live there as well.
"No culture" - depends on your definition of culture. There are always festivals and such going on, especially during the summer. If you're a college football fan, then you're at a good place for tailgating and Big 10 excitement. The university has plenty going on at all times. Plus, you're an hour away from Harrisburg, and two hours away from Pittsburgh. The downtown area has plenty of little shops to keep you busy, plus it's very quaint. Parking is cheap, too.
Naturally, the students dominate the town, so Christmas and summer are always more desirable if you're not into crowds.
Happy Valley is a beautiful place, and summer and fall make up for the winters. - Question:-Where can I find a free or low cost kitten in or around State College, PA?
My boyfriend and I have been on the search for a kitten forever. I didn't realize how hard this would be. We have been to all the pet stores and the shelters and there aren't any kittens. What we are looking for now is someone who's kitty had a litter and now needs to adopt out the kittens. If you know anyone near State College in that situation please respond. Thanks!
Answer:-look in the newspaper in the pets section, where i live they have lots of cats that need homes. but i live like 10 states away from u. - Question:-Are there any good mom and pop jewelrs in State College Pa?
I'm looking to avoid chains like zales or kay get a good deal on diamond earrings and tennis bracelet. Are there any independent jewlers in State College(by penn state main) that have good deals/service and quality products?
Answer:-State college is like 120 miles from Philly - Question:-Looking for an affordable apartment in downtown State College, Pa. Any Ideas?
I'm looking for a place for 3 or 4 guys in State College, PA. Hopefully close to campus (a few blocks). But we want to pay no more than 330 a month. Well, something around 250 would be perfect.
Anyone know of a decent place to live downtown that's not expensive. If it's cheaper to go with 3 people in a 1br we'd do that, or if it's cheaper to go 4 in a 2br we'd do that too. Anyone have past experience of know of a nice place?
THANKS!
Answer:-http://pennstate.craigslist.org/
http://pennstate.craigslist.org/apa/415293306.html
3 in a 1 bdrm is really crowded. 4 in a 2 bdrm is more doable - either bunk beds in both bdrms or two twin beds in each if there's room, or futons! If any of you are handy, create some semi-loft bed frames. Have the bed about waist or chest height - easier to jump onto than a bunk, but lots of storage space underneath.
4 x $250 = $1000
4 x $330 = $1320
Not real easy to find as they go fast, but keep looking! Don't forget to ask for the utilities history - depending on how well-built the place is (or isn't!) the utilities can really range. - Question:-What is located close to state college, pa that feels far from penn state's campus?
I'm visiting my boyfriend this weekend and i know he is so sick of being on his college campus. What's around the town that we can do where he'll feel far away?
Answer:-Not much!!! What I did when there was rent a hotel room in town, feels celebrity like compared to the dorm! - Question:-Fun with kids in State College PA?

daylight savings
- Question:-daylight savings?
what is the point of daylight savings?
y do we all have to change the time?
why not just leave the time as it is?
Answer:-Daylight savings time exists so that we can have extra sunlight in the summer evenings rather than in the mornings. The idea is that most people do their own things in the evening and its a waste of sunlight for the sun to rise at 5 in the morning when a simple time change can keep the time the sun is up close to the same year round.
The idea of daylight savings time was first thought of by Benjamin Franklin in 1784.
Many nations have adopted some sort of daylight savings time. - Question:-Daylight Savings?
Why were the daylight savings start and end dates changed?
Answer:-Bush thinks that changing the day we set back the clocks for daylight savings will save energy. That is like when he said to try to drive downhill as much as you can in order to save gas. We all can drive downhill to work, and drive downhill home! All my clocks, and computer, that were pre-programed at the factory are now obsolete, and show the WRONG time. How's that 10,000$ Rolex doing with the new time change? Now kids get run over in the dark by drivers that are trying to get to work late cuz their clocks are screwed up!
THANKS GEORGE ! - Question:-Daylight savings?
When is the next daylight savings time
I dont know if it changes anything but im in Utah
Answer:-it will be in October around Halloween time - Question:-When does Daylight Savings Time start and end in each part of the world?
Explain it to me please! The whole scenario. Everything about it. If daylight savings time starts at 12:00 AM does 12:00 AM last for 2 hours? Do we have more daylight or more night time at which times? Which countries don't observe it and why? What is DST anyways?
Answer:-The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called "Summer Time" in many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. Countries have different change dates. Daylight Saving Time gives us the opportunity to enjoy sunny summer evenings by moving our clocks an hour forward in the spring.
If you live near the equator, day and night are nearly the same length (12 hours). But elsewhere on Earth, there is much more daylight in the summer than in the winter. The closer you live to the North or South Pole, the longer the period of daylight in the summer. Thus, Daylight Saving Time (Summer Time) is usually not helpful in the tropics, and countries near the equator generally do not change their clocks.
Conservation-wise, the rationale behind the 1975 study of DST-related energy savings was that energy use and the demand for electricity for lighting homes is directly related to the times when people go to bed at night and rise in the morning. In the average home, 25 percent of electricity was used for lighting and small appliances, such as TVs and stereos. A good percentage of energy consumed by lighting and appliances occurred in the evening when families were home. By moving the clock ahead one hour, the amount of electricity consumed each day decreased.
As far as the places that do NOT acknowledge DST, In the U.S., Arizona doesn’t observe Daylight Saving Time, but the Navajo Nation (parts of which are in three states) does. However, the Hopi Reservation, which is entirely surrounded by the Navajo Nation, doesn’t observe DST. In effect, there is a donut-shaped area of Arizona that does observe DST, but the “hole” in the center does not.
ALSO, the Equatorial and tropical countries (lower latitudes) generally do not observe Daylight Saving Time. Since the daylight hours are similar during every season, there is no advantage to moving clocks forward during the summer. China has had a single time zone since May 1, 1980, observing summer Daylight Saving Time from 1986 through 1991; they do not observe DST now.
Hope this helped. - Question:-When is the fall change from Daylight savings time to Daylight Standard Time in 2007?
I saw a sign that talked about checking your batteries in your smoke detectors. But it didn't give the date of the conversion from daylight savings time to daylight standard time.
When will that happen?
Answer:-Sunday morning Nov. 4th at 2 am at your local time
the clocks FALL BACK ONE HOUR to 1am !!
A lot of folks will be considerably early for church that morning - Question:-Why does daylight savings time now begins in March and ends in November instead of April and October?
Before 2007, daylight savings time begins in April and ends in October. Why did the government change to March and November now? Remember the daylight savings take an hour away.
Answer:-It is to save energy, less lights on. - Question:-How do i get the daylight savings time update on my cable box?
I've been out of town for awhile and i plugged my cable box back in last night and the tv guide updated but the time hasn't been updated for daylight savings time. Will it update automatically or do i have to call comcast? There is no option to change it.
Answer:-Your cable people have to do the update. It should be done automatically, if not, try unplugging it again and replugging and it should update. It that fails, call Comcast. - Question:-When does daylight savings time start?
I need to know when daylight savings time starts in the United States 2009? Can anyone help me?
Answer:-March 8th, 2 AM precisely. - Question:-How do you deal with daylight savings time and bedtime?
My daughter (5 months) goes to bed around 7:30, but I am not sure what to do after daylight savings. Do you keep the same time (bedtime now at 8:30) or do you gradually move bedtime back up to what would have been 6:30. Can I just say I have always hated daylight savings, but now even more.
Answer:-I would keep the same bedtime (now 8:30) as because it will be spring and summer soon and daylight will last longer. You and your family will be doing more in the evening so if babys bedtime is a little later it will be good. When it changes back in the fall the baby will once again go to bed earlier when its fall and winter and dark earlier. - Question:-Daylight savings time. How much daylight have we saved so far and when are we going to use it again?
We open a savings account so we can use the money later when we need it. I was still a child when they started saving daylight somewhere or they would not have called it that. After all these years, we should have saved up a couple of weeks of daylight. When will it be okay to use it again?
Answer:-it is continually used up every day when the time is reset back.

san diego weather
- Question:-What is San Diego weather like during the months of Janurary thru March?
im wondering about the temperture, humidity, and how sunny it is.
Answer:-January is one of our top rainy months. You are looking at highs of 55-63 and lows around 41-50. There can be some really cold temps if we get freaky weather. I've scraped ice off of my windshield when living right along Mission Bay.
Humidity is really nothing to be concerned about in January. I'd put it around 50% unless it rains then it's 100%
February is usually the wettest month of the year. Temps are like January.
March is weird. It's a transition month like October is. Very unpredictable weather conditions. It could rain for two weeks or high pressure could settle in and it will be in the high 60s and lower 70s. One thing I have noticed about March is that the way it starts is opposite of the way it ends. If it starts out cold it will end up warm. If it starts out dry it will end up wet.
You will have more sunny days than May and June. - Question:-Lajolla San Diego weather? also where is the doomsday going to occur in california, where else.?
Lajolla San Diego weather?
Answer:-The climate of La Jolla California - near San Diego is heavily moderated by the cool Pacific Ocean just to the west. Normal yearly rainfall is only 10 inches, but from April until October, normally there is no rain at all. The sun is out over 70% of the time, but we do have the May Gray June Gloom - which in the mornings is a low deck of clouds, which burns off in the late morning hours.
Normal highs are in the 60's in January, which is the wettest month of the year, averaging 2 inches.
Snowfall is as frequent here as it is in Miami - both have seen snow once. The last measurable snow in La Jolla was in 1949, and it was well under an inch. Temperatures rarely go below 40 in the winter, and the last time it went below freezing was over 20 years ago.
In the summer, it is always sunny, and it never rains - our record rainfall for July is like .2 of an inch.
Normal highs are in the 70's on the coast, but rapidly rise into the 90's and 100's just a few miles inland.
Temperatures, with an east wind can reach 100 degrees even on the water, with the Santa Ana winds, but this is a rare occassion. However, there will be several days every year - usually in late summer when you will have a few abnormally hot days in the mid 90's or higher even on the water. - Question:-san diego weather late september what clothes?

Answer:- - Question:-Where are other places in the world with similar weather to San Diego, CA?
I would like to relocate to another location with similar weather to San Diego, but where housing is more affordable.
Answer:-dont listen to first person. east coast is way tooo humid. nothing like san diego. italy/greece is about the only other place that would work. or the coast above SF. its a hard climate to duplicate and its one of the best in the world. - Question:-Are there any reasonable cost of living places near San Diego where weather is always nice?
Have heard San Diego too expensive.....any other areas in Cali that fit the description above?
Answer:-What exactly do you consider reasonable, and what size living space are you looking for??
I live in a VERY nice complex, and we pay $1600 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. There are one bedroom units down the street from us that are going for about $900. We live in Point Loma.
If you go south to Chula Vista (the East & West sides are not that horrible -- having lived there I know), you can find decent places for about $1000, and if you head south to Imperial Beach you can find fairly priced places as well (I've lived there too...used to pay $600 for a 2 BR 1 Bath about 7 years ago -- although I'm sure the rents have gone up considerably since then).
It will also depend on where you plan to work and how much commuting you want to do. Gas is a bit more expensive out here, and 20 miles doesn't seem like much to commute, but when you're crawling along at 10 mph it can take a LONG time to get to/from work. So you have to decide whether you want to commute & spend 1/3 of your life in traffic, or pay a bit more for rent.
Your question is far too ambiguous to give an accurate, useful or concise answer. I suggest you use some apartment finder services (apartments.com for example) and see if there's anything that you'd be interested in. - Question:-Will the weather in San Diego, Ca be hot or cool at the end of October?
Will the weather in San Diego, Ca be hot or cool at the end of October?
The reason being is that I want to buy my Halloween costume now and I have 2 in mind so I need to know which would be the best choice for the weather.
Answer:-Averages in San Diego CA in October:
High: 74 F
Low : 61 F
.44 In of rain
Record high of 111 F
Record Low of 51 F - Question:-What's the weather like in san diego during the first week in March?
Hi, guys, could you please tell me what the weather is like in san diego around the first week in March? Is the sun strong enough to make sunglasses a must when traveling? I have no idea what to wear. A packing list would be great. Thanks a lot.
Answer:-it's going to be sunny but a bit cold - Question:-How is the weather in San Diego in October and November?
I want to go on vacation this fall, probably in the October and November time frame. I don't want to do Florida because of the risk of hurricanes in the fall, so how are things in the San Diego area during the fall? Is San Diego a good city to vacation to?
Answer:-October is one of the best times of the year. Hot days, cool nights, clear skies, low humidity. There is also a good chance of Santa Anna like conditions, which means hot air blowing in off the desert. IMO September-October are the best weather months of the year. November can be a bit tricky. Chance of rain increases and you could get a storm coming in from the north with cold winds. The seasons change here like a light switch. There will be a change in weather patterns and one day it's summer, the next it's fall-winter. This usually happens in November.
San Diego is a great vacation spot: best Zoo in the world, the Wild Animal Park, dozens of museums in Balboa Park, Shedd Aquarium, Sea World, La Jolla, beaches, surfing, sailing, casinos, NFL Football. ML Baseball, etc. You are also close to Disneyland and L.A. Be aware that the ocean temperature is never warm here, It is a northern current and even in the summer, it almost never breaks 70 degrees. - Question:-how is the weather in san diego ?
i am coming for a vacation to san diego tomorrow. Please let me know how the weather is ? do we need light jackets for nights .. or sleaveless is fine?
Answer:-Well, I live here in San Diego and inland it has been in the low to mid 90s during the day and cooling off at night but we still leave the air on all night.
The coast has been in the 80s nice sunny and warm but I hear there is supposed to be marine layer in the morning this weekend.
But come on out and enjoy the nice weather, bring lots of shorts and shirts, maybe a light sweatshirt if you get cold easily but you more than likely won't need it! - Question:-What has the best weather san diego or los angeles? How is the weather different?
Answer:-Step away from the crack pipe, Nana Sue...
The weather is very similar, but I do think LA (northern) tends to get a little more rain... it's definitely a lot smoggier....
I'd pick SD over LA for anything...

weather denver
- Question:-How is the weather in Denver throughout the month of October?
I have a month-long business trip planned for October of this year.
How is the weather in Denver during the month of October?
Does it start getting really cold? Or does it stay nice and warm?
Is it rainy? Does it ever start snowing?
I've never been to Colorado before. I'm kind of puzzled because Denver is located where mountains meet prairies. I don't know how that would affect the weather during the fall.
What is the typical weather pattern in Denver throughout October?
How should I prepare myself?
Answer:-By this time it will be getting a bit chilly. The weather gets a bit unpredictable. You may start the day off thinking it will be cold, only to find yourself sweating in a light jacket by noon. And the exact opposite can happen too. If you're looking for an "average" temperature for Denver maybe somewhere between 50-60F. Because Denver is a major city it is a heat trap, but often by the end of October it will be snowing lightly, or at the very least keep threatening to do it. Colorado likes snowing on Halloween, but snow in October usually doesn't amount to more than two or three inches. Rain is unlikely to be a problem.
Bring clothes that are good for layering. Coloradan weather is very fickle and changes, so it's good to wear layers that you can strip off or add to during the day. - Question:-Whats the weather like Denver and Colorado Spring in Late September?
Going to Denver and Colorado Spring in late September, 19-26. What will the weather be like?
Answer:-Usually great. Summer tends to hang on, but it varies a lot. Highly unlikely you'll see snow in either city, but you might see some if you drive up into the mountains.
You'll probably get quite a bit of sunshine, but the nights will cool off.
Just plan to layer the clothing. Shorts, t-shirts, bring a light jacket, sunglases. Bring long pants for the evening.
You shouldn't need gloves, ski hat, or rain gear. - Question:-Which area has better natural scenery and better weather Denver or Reno?
Just want to know about natural beauty (like topography) and weather. Not the buildings.
Answer:-Denver. Just at the foot of the Rockies, which are beautiful. Weather is much better than Reno too. It is scenic to the west of Reno around Tahoe though. - Question:-What is the weather like in denver in march?
What is the weather like in denver in march? I am going there for Spring Break to visit family, but I wasn't sure of the weather conditions there. I know sometimes it can get pretty snowy over there.
Answer:-It's the snowiest month, it could be a blizzard
it could also be 60F, hard to predict Colorado. But indeed, count on snow. - Question:-whats the weather like in Denver Dolorado during september?
Im from Phoenix Arizona so what pl in denver consider hot i might consider fresh lol, so if you could tell me the weather in degrees plz =]
My and my sisters are planning to go the 1st week in september and would like to know what the weather would be like then.
Answer:-Generally warm and sunny. I have seen it snow several times during the first week in September and on occasion be fairly cool in the 50s and 60s. But during the day it is usually in the mid to high 70s. It can get down into the 50s at night.
Think layers, because it can be cool in the morning and evening and almost hot midday. - Question:-What is the weather in Denver like in Mid July? I will be there visiting from Houston.?
I know it's hot but it's not humid like a sauna like Houston is it? How high do the temps get & does being in the mountains help or hinder? In short is there a BIG difference between summertime weather in Houston & Denver or not?
Answer:-Hot & dry. Heat ranges from the high 80°s to 100° in July, with almost no humidity. You will need to bring a lot of moisturizer and sunblock. And don't forget chapstick. And drink plenty of water.
In the mountains, depending on your elevation, expect it to be 15 to 20° cooler than in town.
Yes, there is a BIG difference between summertime Houston & summertime Denver. - Question:-How is the weather in denver,co during late sept.-early oct.?
Me and my finacee are planning on coming there on our honeymoon on september 28 - oct 6. We love the denver broncos, we are going to one of games. Is it usually cold/snowy or warm?
Answer:-Odds are you'll have great weather. The days will be warm and sunny and the nights cool. So pack so you can layer your cloths.
Tip, the sun is strong and the air dry, unless you're real tanned, wear sun screen and drink plenty of water. - Question:-What natural disasters might happen or what weather extremes do Denver, Co. could happen?
What natural disasters might happen or what weather extremes do they(Denver, Co.) need to separate insurance policies for?
Answer:-The greatest risks in the Denver area are high winds, which tend to occur in the winter/early springtime, periodic heavy snows/blizzards, hailstorms in the spring/early summer, flash flooding primarily in the mid to late summer, and tornadoes, though those tend to be relatively weak and short-lived. - Question:-What is the weather like in Denver, Boston, Seattle, and Dallas? For example in winter its just cool.?
I have to answer stuff about these cities in French, but nobody knows what the weather is like in these places. For eample Denver in spring is hot. Or Boston has really bad snow storms in the winter. Oh and I need spinng, summer, automn(fall), and winter for each city. Thanks!!!!!
Answer:-Here's your Denver answer, use what you can of it, and do the french translation since I can only remember a few simple words and phrases.
In Denver you have to be prepared and dress in layers cause the weather can change in 5 minutes from one extreme to another - regardless of the season or time of year. It can be very cold in the morning, and very hot at night, and vice versa. We've had snow for Easter. We've had snow on Memorial Day weekend (for real!). We've had hot spells in January where it was 70 degrees Farenheit. So the weather in Denver is usually unpredictable! Being in the mile high city also means that a few inches of snow will melt over the course of a day and be gone the next day - and it also means we can get an unexpected blizzard and have most of the city shut down. May is usually a rainy month here, but we did start the month with snow after a few days of 75 degree F weather.
HTH. - Question:-How does Denver weather compare to Chicago - is it cold at night but mild during the day?
Answer:-Generally it is a toss up in Denver - some days in winter, fall, and spring will be chilly, some will be downright freezing, some you won't need a jacket - spring and fall are really funny, one day you are in short sleeves, the next a coat and gloves, then 2 days later, back to the short sleeves - nights between November and April are generally cold.
Summer you can get beautiful days in the 80's or 20 days straight over 100. It's so hard to say here - they always give you a percentage of what the chance of having a cold or hot or rainy day - not a real forecast.

colorado weather
- Question:-Colorado Weather?
I'm getting mixed answers about weather in Colorado Springs. I need to know what a typical year January-December is like. Are thunderstorms common? Tornadoes? What months does it snow? and how much snow can I expect? Is there much humidity? how long does summer typically last? and how hot does it get in the summers? Is there a durastic change in the day vs. night time? And any other information about moving will be helpful. (schooling, crime.ect.) Thank You!
Answer:-seriously, the weather is very unpredictable. we get our first snow in about september, and then the last one in may. but then mixed in with all the snow in the winter is 70 degree days in january. in the summer (especially july) it rains daily at about 3:00 pm with thunder and lightning. it's not humid at all (people complain if it gets above 25% humidity). but yes, there is a very drastic change from day to night. even if it gets to 90 degrees during the day, it'll drop at least to 60 at night.
some other info: not much crime. district 20, 38, and 12 schools are great! 11 and 49 are overcrowded and have some sub-standard schools and teachers. i'm not sure which part you're coming to so i can't really tell you anything about a specific school... but i've lived here for half my life so anything else you want to know just ask! - Question:-Colorado weather??
How is the weather in colorado in july? In Colorado Springs is it sunny during july?? or snowy?
Answer:-Colorado springs in July is typically 80's to 90's, dry heat, chances of afternoon showers - snow's gone! - Question:-Will my ducks be okay in Colorado weather?
I purchased two baby ducks at the tractor supply store and currently live in Texas. I will be moving to Colorado in June, and was planning on letting them go in a pond at the apartment I'm moving into. Will they be okay in the Colorado weather or should I let them go before I leave Texas?
Answer:-It depends where you are in Colorado and the type of duck. Some of the mountain towns (e.g., Aspen or Frasier) are too cold, but ducks (mostly mallards) live year round in other parts of the state (e.g., Denver or Colorado Springs). - Question:-Ive lived in Florida weather ALL my life, do you think i would be able to move to colorado weather?
florida weather is usually in the 80's or 90's and colorado i hear is very cold...can i get used to it???
Answer:-If I can go from Texas to South Korea...I think you'll be fine lol. Colorado does get cold in the winter time, they are not humid ever, usually, depends on which part of Colorado you go to, the eastern portions can get a dry line that brings dew points to the 50's, but no where near the 60's and 70's you are used too. Denver is pleasant in the summer, only a few days reach 100, and it's a pleasant dry heat. If you are in the mountains, expect cool summers, 80's usually, 40's for lows. Winter's good luck anywhere in Colorado, record lows have dipped all the way down to -60 before...I've never felt that, but if you spit, it will be a ball of ice before it hits the ground. - Question:-Winter road trip from Seattle to Colorado weather conditions?
For anyone who has made this winter time drive (or something similar), are the weather conditions severe? Are the raods at least fit for driving? I would hate to spend 5 days getting back in winter conditions when it took 2 for me to make the drive during the summer. I'll be driving to CO for Christmas.
Answer:-I made it last January, most of the drive is on the plains or in areas that don't get much snow. It shouldn't be that hard unless there's a freak storm. Just avoid I-70, as it goes right through the Rockies and closes at Vail pass all the time - Question:-Whats the weather in colorado springs during summer months?
We plan on bringing our four kids to camp in colorado springs this summer and would like to know what the weather is usually. How hot is the temp.
Answer:-80s or 90s, 70s in the mountains. Cold at night, make sure to bring jackets. 40Fish at night. - Question:-What is the weather in Colorado like?
From what I know (Which may be inaccurate) the weather in Colorado is pretty crazy. One moment it could be one way and in a few minutes it changes. I just wanted to know if this is true.
Answer:-I have been hearing people say "don't like the weather? Wait a few minutes and it will change" since I was a little kid. That is a slight exaggeration, but it often changes abruptly especially in the summer when we have frequent rain, hail and sometimes even show in the afternoons after a morning of beautiful sunny weather.
Fronts can move across the plains or down from the mountains very quickly and meteorologists always say forecasting is challenging at best. They put the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder for a reason and it wasn't the dull boring weather. - Question:-Weather in Colorado during the month of January?
What is the weather like in Colorado during the month of January?
Answer:-If you are a native of Minnesota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin, then Colorado is a heat wave. I usually wear a fleece or down jacket as it rarely gets down to twenty-below zero. - Question:-What is the BEST lotion to use for DRY Colorado Weather?
I have lived out here for less than a year and the dryness is driving me NUTS!! My skin is always dry and itchy, and I haven't found a lotion strong enough to help. Even Eucerin and Cetaphil aren't strong enough!! Help, please!
Answer:-If you can find it try Cornhuskers Lotion. This stuff is awesome! - Question:-How is the weather in Colorado?
Okay I'm born and raised in good old sunny California! Well I am moving to Colorado..I am use to of the sun, beaches, bars, lots of parties and just lots of things to do..How is it living in Colorado? What type of weather am I going to have to get used to?? Thank you to all of you who answer!
Answer:-The climate of Colorado is quite complex compared to most of the United States. The typical south-north/cooler-warmer variation in other states is not generally applicable in Colorado. Mountains and surrounding valleys greatly affect local climate. As a general rule, with an increase in elevation come a decrease in temperature and an increase in precipitation. A main climatic division in Colorado occurs between the Rocky Mountains on the west and the plains on the east; the foothills form a transitional zone between the two.
So find out more about the part of Colorado you are going to live in, and then find the climate information about that area.

daylight savings time
- Question:-When does Daylight Savings Time start and end in each part of the world?
A lot of folks will be considerably early for church that morning - Question:-How do i get the daylight savings time update on my cable box?
- Question:-Since it's daylight savings time, should I start taking my birth control an hour earlier?
I usually take my birth control at 10 am. Now since it's daylight savings time, should I take it at 9? I'm very paranoid about getting pregnant so I need to make sure I take it at the same time on the dot every day. Saying an hour or so won't make a difference is not cool with me. Thanks!
Answer:-Personally I don't think you should change your time just because of the time change. I know you don't want to hear that an hour won't make a difference but I have to say that you shouldn't worry. Once I took it a few hours late. Once you have been doing it for a few days, your body will have adjusted to it...stick with your time. - Question:-How does daylight savings time work?
So. I know there's spring forward, fall back, but now in the spring after we in America have had the spring forward, are we IN daylight savings time, or did it END and we won't be on it until fall back?
Also, when does Europe have it because my friend in Germany still hasn't had spring forward.
Answer:-It's not called daylight savingS time - it's called daylight savING time.
Try looking it up with a Google search - it would be much more efficient than YA! - Question:-Can anyone name any advantages of switching from daylight savings time bactk to standard time?
Seems to me the switch is a nuisance that has no advantages. What's wrong with keeping the time on daylight savings like forever? So now with standard time, it gets dark earlier. Who needs or wants that?
Answer:-It's so farmers can get more time out of the day. Early to bed early to rise - Question:-How do states that don't participate in daylight savings time keep track of time?
Okay I understand that some states like Arizona and Hawaii don't participate in daylight savings time (dst) so what time do they go by? Do they just keep their clocks the same all the time. If so, what do they do about their computers and cell phones automatically changing time?
Answer:-Arizona currently falls on Mountain Time and when we observe regular time they fall on Pacific when we observe daylight savings. The reason why they don't follow daylight savings I found out is because of the heat in the summer and an extra hour of sunlight is not needed.
Their computers/cell phone just know from the signals they received. For example - if you ever travel into another time zone, just give your phone a few moments and it picks up the new signal. It happened to me a few times. - Question:-Why is the daylight savings time for this year is different than other years?
I believe the daylight savings time for past years occured at the last week of March. So, why do they change it this year?
Answer:-They are right...to save energy. To put it more basically, when we go on daylight savings time earlier there are more hours of daylight throughout our day. More sunlight = less need to lights on = saving tons of energy just by moving it forward several weeks.
