  I am planning on making pinacolada jello shots, this is my plan tell me if i should add anything or do something different.
  
  the bottom layer is going to have either a coconut jello or or a plain jello, i will add coconut milk to either and coconut extract to the plain if needed, and malibu rum. (1-1 ratio to the other liquid) i will pour that into the cups half way and let those set for a few hours. then i will take pinapple jello and add rum to that same 1-1 ratio, and pour it on top of the set coconut jello. maybe adding a little whip cream and a marichino cherry right before serving.

  Answer:-You can really get creative with these! Dissolve your Jello in the boiling water just like the package says, but instead of adding cold water after the Jello is dissolved, substitute liquor for all or part of the cold water depending on how strong you want your shots. If the box calls for 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water, instead of 1 cup of the cold water, use maybe 1/2 cup of alcohol and 1/2 cup of water, or 3/4 cup of alcohol and 1/4 cup of water, or 1 cup of all alcohol. You pretty much can use any alcohol you want. Nowadays, they've got some great flavors of Jello and liquor, and you can really go crazy. For example, there are flavored vodkas and rums that you can mix with different flavors of Jello to try and mimick your favorite drink. You can get Lime Jello and mix with tequila and triple sec. for a margarita flavored shot. Or strawberry jello and tequila for strawberry margarita. Coconut rum is good, but it's weak so mix it with regular rum or vodka for some added kick (Maybe 1/2 cup of each instead of the cold water). Most Jello shots I've had are made with Vodka. You can't go wrong with that. But if you want to get crazy, experiment. What's the worst that can happen? They don't taste as good? So what. After a couple of shots, it won't matter anyway. Get some disposable plastic shot cups. I get them from a local bar supply store, and they come with lids so it's really easy to stack them in the fridge. If you're counting calories, use sugar free Jello. It's not as good as the regular, but it's pretty close.

  Answer:-You should use unflavored alcohol when making jello shots and let the jello do the flavoring. My recommendation would be to use something that has a high alcohol level like vodka, so that the alcohol doesn't vaporize when you mix it with hot jello. Experiment with the jello flavors and alcohol levels. No one else but you can decide which is best.

  Answer:-I would say 9 days would be too long cause I did them one weekend and didnt drink them so we saved them for the next weekend and they were already drying up even tho they were sealed up with the pop on lids.. So maybe 3 or 4 days tops is what I would say.

  Answer:-Yes, and it can kill you too. Also, alcohol is the ONLY narcotic that can kill you if you are detoxing from it.No other drug can make that claim in and of itself.

  Answer:-You are fortunate to have woken up. Way to much to consume in short period of time. This is how people die...consume so fast that they go right past point of intoxication to death. Remember, alcohol is a poison.

  Answer:-Typically when you hear the term acute put in front of a medical issue, it just means sudden onset. So, acute alcohol intoxication would just mean that a patient became intoxicated in a very short time period (shorter than typical). You have have acute alcohol intoxication and not have alcohol poisoning. People get intoxicated on an acute basis every day (think of college and drinking games, and there you go).
  
  It is when this acute alcohol intoxication exceeds the specific patent's specific threshold, when you run into alcohol poisoning, where it will be necessary to obtain medical care. Depending on the patent's condition (how bad the case of poisoning is) will depict what treatment they require.
  
  Most likely you did not have alcohol poisoning, as if you did, they would have listed that as your diagnosis. Instead they listed acute alcohol intoxication which like I said is not the same thing. Now had you not gotten to the hospital in time, then it is possible that you could have ended up with alcohol poisoning, but because they were able to rehydrate you in time, they were able to stop the progression of the alcohol's toxicity on your body.
  
  It is good that you are ok, but in the future just try to be a little more careful. Nothing wrong with having fun, just pace yourself and know what your limits are, and always have someone around who is sober, just in case such an event happens.
  
  EDIT: Just as an FYI these two are not interchangable, so I have to respectfully disagree, as the two have different chart codes and different treatment protocols. Please see below for general description:

However, note that other causes of the symptom 'Acute alcohol intoxication' may be possible.
  
  Alcohol poisoning: A condition in which a toxic amount of alcohol (ethanol, ethyl alcohol) has been drunk, usually in a short period of time. The toxicity is related to the blood level of the alcohol.
  
  The individual may become extremely disoriented, unresponsive or unconscious, with shallow breathing.
  
  Because alcohol poisoning can be fatal, emergency treatment is urgently needed.
  
  Treatment for alcohol piosoning:
  Once medical personnel have responded to the call for assistance, the drinker will almost always be taken to a hospital where the treatment for alcohol poisoning consists of pumping the person's stomach. Pumping the stomach, also known as or gastric lavage or gastric irrigation, involves inserting a tube in the person's nose or mouth and passing it down into the stomach. After the tube has reached the stomach, the administration and removal of small amounts of warm water or saline is repeated until the returning fluid does not contain any more gastric contents.
  
  Basically it is a fine line between the two. They have two codes, and two protocols for treatment and therefore are technically different. You can be admitted with acute alcohol intoxication and usually just get some IV fluids and have a little counsel session from the hospital counseler. Whereas with the acute acohol poisoning you are looking at more serious treamtment protocols, because the patient is in more serious of a condition. This is all based on your serum or blood tox screen levels of ethyl aclohol and metabolites present, your age, weight, medical condition and history, as well as metabolic rate and other patient specific criteria.
  
  The line is hazy, and one can present with acute alcohol intoxication and it can progress into alchol posioning rapidly if the patient has not gotten medical treatment in time.

  Answer:-There is no correlation chart for amount of alcohol consumed and drunkenness/toxicity depending on height, weight, and ethnicity. The only thing that matters is how much you consume and how well your liver metabolizes the alcohol. I have been drunk under the table by a 24 year old 5'8" 145lbs guy that looked like a kid. There has been some very slight correlation between size and metabolism, but that is not something you can really rely on. The best person to ask is yourself. You know when you are drunk and usually alcohol poisoning does not trail far behind being very drunk. Once you get flashbulb memories (having gaps in between your memories while you are awake) you should stop for the night. Just keep track of your own drinks and monitor your own level of drunkenness and you will be alcohol poisoning free.

  Answer:-how would someone die before losing consciousness? Conscientiousness is the trait of being painstaking and careful btw not awake and aware. yes you can die pretty quickly from alcohol poisoning. and it is different in everyone. i saw heavy drinkers with a .48 bac that didn't die and then some relatively non heavy drinkers die from under .4 bac.

  Oh, no question AJ that I don't doubt her drug addiction was of course the core cause of her poor health and most likely even death. There is always the possibilty/probability of a lethal mixture of alcohol and prescription meds being the cause.
  
  I just thought it was in poor taste for some news organizations such as Fox/BBC etc. running this story from the Enquirer. THAT version is obviously wrong, and it's not okay just because she was an addict.

  Answer:-she had abused her body for years and she was unhealthy for starters, they said illegal drugs, doesn't mean she wasn't abusing the crap out of prescribed meds...I don't write anyone off as just a junkie or drunk...these people are in tremendous pain, I get very defensive of people who abuse drugs and alcohol...some of the best people I know are recovering drug addicts and alcoholics.

  then i read that shortly before her passing she was dating someone else
  there might be a huge chance that her cause of death was and over dose of alcohol and drugs
  was it intentionaly ? or just a dose of pleaser nothing intended
  could it have been because she was still heartbroken over Blake and the fact he didn't want her back kill her inside so she just overdosed

  Answer:-People can say what they want, but I genuinely think she'd had enough and ended it deliberately. She was troubled, had a husband in jail, got divorced and had so much bad press. She battled drug and drink addictions and eating disorders and she was quite obviously depressed.
  
  At the moment I'm hating the fact that people are saying things like, she wasted her life, she didn't deserve to be alive anyway.. think what you like, everyone's entitled to an opinion, but she was someone's daughter and sister, and they have a huge gap in their lives right now. Wish people would have respect for them, if not Amy.

  Okay, for the first issue of my school paper, I volunteered to do an article about Amy Winehouse's death. It's supposed to include details about location and cause, a bit about her career, and a bit of background of the 27 club. I don't feel right writing about her career without a bit of background of her music so I want to listen to a few songs before actually writing the article. Please give me a few of her songs (singles or otherwise) to help me get a bit of background. Thank you.

  @Hello There I work for a high school newspaper and it's supposed to be an informational article on her death. It is not a review, so it doesn't really require opinion. Honestly, I think it's a shame when anyone dies young and yeah, it's stupid to smoke crack but I'm not going to go ranting and raving about it in the school newspaper.
  
  Answer:-no offense, she sucks. She came to Dubai and I went there, I swear to god, 20 minutes everyone left the concert. She is always high (not on marijuana), seriously, she disappoints a lot of her fans.

  do you realize she was recently in rehab? obvioulsy if drugs were the cause of death then rehab didn't work. now don't you feel stupid for making all those rehab "jokes"?

  Answer:-I know it's pathetic & boring. She went to rehab many times yet these jokes are popping up everywhere. She was such a troubled woman I hope she's finally at peace

  she passed away on the 23rd of july. they still don't know what caused her death but it was most likely drugs. what do you think of this? do you think she brought all this on herself or are you upset? i think this is her fault because if she hadn't started taking drugs she could still be alive today, although when i found out about her death, i have to admit i was very upset. just the other day i was hoping she would release a new album, because i love her songs and her voice is amazing.
  yesterday i found a website where you could predict when she would die, and the winner gets an ipod touch. i think that whoever set that up is disgusting and should at least take it down now.

  she's always blamed her addiction to class A on her ex-husband. if i was his i would be very ashamed now and upset because he could have started all this. r.i.p amy <3
  
  Answer:-She did bring it on herself but I am very sad about the loss of a young talented yet wasted life. She had some real issues self harm eating disorders complicated relationships drugs & alcohol so in a way it may of been the best thing for her however terrible it sounds because each day she relied on pumping herself full of poison that she tried to get herself off of each time but failed. She was always being slather off by the media when she needed support. I sympathise with her,her family & friends. It was expected but still very sad
