• Question:-Are there any all-inclusive resorts in Barbados with surfing?
  My husband and I are surfers, and are having trouble finding a resort that is on a good surf break. We don't need anything crazy, we are still beginners. We just want to be able to paddle out from the resort.

  You can go hhiking if you like hiking, you can go scuba diving and snorkling as well, and swim with the turtles. There are also scenic tours that you can go on, and if u like clubbing we also have nigh clubs...Come and Enjoy! =)

  This hotel is about 3-5 minutes away from the nightlife at St.Lawrence Gap which is very popular in Barbados. A bus can take you there and it will cost BDS$1.50( US$75c). It is also about 3-5 minutes away from Oistins which is great all during the week but especially Friday and Saturday nights. The bus fare is thesame price all over the island.
  There is also a club about minutes away from this hotel called Club Extreme.

  i live in barbados and i actually love it here...for the most part ppl and friendly
  most of the beaches and clean and relaxing,i personal go deep sea diving and snorkelling alot...i recommend that as something to try

  that's a list of restaurants in barbados but as a local let me tell you where you can find the REAL good food at cheap prices
  there's "the fish net grill" in oistins whch serves lovely grilled fish(pick the one you lie) with grilled potatoes and a decadent tartar sauce
  or "just grillin'" in quayside shopping centre on the south coast...that's near where i live so my friends and i go there all the time...the food is nice and so are the drinks over at the bar
  Very near there is a lil gelato parlour called "dolce which serves some very nice homemade italian icecream there's also another branch in sheraton mall
  Im sure if you enjoy beer(and even if you dont) that you'll enjoy a cool banks beer(as tourists and locals alike love it)
  o you could also visit andromeda, the animal flower cave, arrison's cave(which i think is undergoing repairs), oooooooo adventureland tours or a ride on an ATV (of course you wouldn't know where these things are but any local should be able to point you in the right direction

  My fiance and I were thinking about all-inclusive places for our honeymoon at the end of September. We were looking at Turtle Beach Resort on the island of Barbados. Has anyone been there? Are the beaches nice? Are there fun activities to do? And also, is it very busy?
  We're looking to have fun in the Caribbean, but we also want to be able to lay back and relax. Thanks!
  
  Answer:-I have been there but only for lunch. I enjoyed it. The beach there is lovely mostly had tourist on it, it was very playful and the atmosphere/location was very nice. I think you'd enjoy it. there the staff was friendly and accomodating.

  We're looking for good, inexpensive places to eat and things to do. All the activities offered by Expedia are outrageously priced. While we're at it, anyone stayed at The Crane before? Experiences?
  
  Answer:-Hi there.
  I'm Barbadian so I can't tell you anything about the Crane - it's a bit pricey for all us "locals". (I'm not in the country at the moment, tho I will be some time in July.)
  
  I browsed a couple of the answers and they seemed accurate (I only skimmed them, though). There's stuff to do but to suggest something nice, I'd have to know what you're interested in and how long you will be there.
  
  Some suggestions anyway:
  1) Festival - Go to Crop Over activities. They run from the beginning of July (actually a bit before that) to the first week in August. Some are free, others aren't too expensive, but read about it before you go, so you know what it's like. Try www.barbados.org. They have photos n everything there. The big street party is in August so if you're there then, go take a look.
  
  2) Beach beach beach - There are beaches everywhere. Try to go to several over the island, even the east coast, though you shouldn't try to swim most places there. (It's just nice to relax and walk around) Also, there's snorkeling, scuba diving, basically all sorts of water activities... or just lie there and bake :D
  
  3) Tours - Harrison's Cave, Welchman Hall Gully, Animal Flower Cave, the Flower Forrest, Atlantis submarine, an off-road tour, Jolly Roger cruise, Harbour Master cruise, a catamaran cruise, tour an old plantation home or old building, Mount Gay distilleries (world's oldest rum distillery) - various prices and experiences; depends on what you like; probably lots I've forgotten to mention.
  
  4) Food - depends on what you want the experience to be like: local or international. There are lots of restaurants, especially on the south coast - in St. Lawrence Gap, Worthing, Hastings, Maxwell - and some on the west coast, especially around Holetown. Further north is the Fish Pot - I've heard it's supposed to be good but I never tried it. My favourite got closed down to build condos, I think :( For "local" foods, I'd say you can get a bit going to Oistins on a Friday night - street party and fish fry. Otherwise, I think you'd have to know a Bajan (=Barbadian). It's too hard to tell you places to go and things to eat (plus I'm a bit tired at the moment) If you want fast food though, Chefette can be found alot of places. There's KFC but not at widespread. Also, Chefette has different stuff. OH and I like a pizza place called Pizzaz in Holetown. :) It's ... different. :D
  
  5) Partying - there are clubs & part-time clubs like Club Xtreme, Harbour Lights, the Boat Yard & the After Dark; sometimes there are cruises on the Harbour Master that are also for partyers. Where you go really depends on what your preference.
  
  6) Other stuff - make a friend :) A Bajan friend will be able to steer you to or away from stuff if they know something of your preferences. Find a nice taxi driver - they'll come to your hotel and pick u up, etc. Rent a car - if you're adventurous and are okay with driving on the left side of the road; drive around and see the country (I do that myself sometimes) There's a floor show at the Plantation Garden theater - never went though so no clue but I heard it's great. Well... just GO! You can find lots of info once you're there. :)

  Answer:-There are 4 waterparks in Sandusky the oldest one is the Great Wolf lodge located near Meijer. Then there is Kalahari waterpark which is the biggest one in Sandusky. but if you are lookin for a great time at a low price there is Castaway Bay and Maui Sands which just opened a month ago. The Skateworld is also fun which is located on Milan rd in Sandusky. At the Sandusky mall there is an arcade if you want to do some shopping while the kids are at the arcade.
