  Answer:-That's what people say, however last year I found that many stores started their Black Friday sales on-line on Thanksgiving! My mom and I were sitting around the computer after dinner and checking out where to go the next morning, and we noticed the sales had started at a few places then. We did tons of shopping and got the same sales as many people did at the stores, plus there are always discounts where you can get free shipping, or a coupon code for a percentage off. Plus, factor in the time of getting to the store and the crowds while you shop! So I would say keep your eyes on websites any time from Thursday until Monday. The sales should be great.

  This hotel is about 3-5 minutes away from the nightlife at St.Lawrence Gap which is very popular in Barbados. A bus can take you there and it will cost BDS$1.50( US$75c). It is also about 3-5 minutes away from Oistins which is great all during the week but especially Friday and Saturday nights. The bus fare is thesame price all over the island.
  There is also a club about minutes away from this hotel called Club Extreme.

  that's a list of restaurants in barbados but as a local let me tell you where you can find the REAL good food at cheap prices
  there's "the fish net grill" in oistins whch serves lovely grilled fish(pick the one you lie) with grilled potatoes and a decadent tartar sauce
  or "just grillin'" in quayside shopping centre on the south coast...that's near where i live so my friends and i go there all the time...the food is nice and so are the drinks over at the bar
  Very near there is a lil gelato parlour called "dolce which serves some very nice homemade italian icecream there's also another branch in sheraton mall
  Im sure if you enjoy beer(and even if you dont) that you'll enjoy a cool banks beer(as tourists and locals alike love it)
  o you could also visit andromeda, the animal flower cave, arrison's cave(which i think is undergoing repairs), oooooooo adventureland tours or a ride on an ATV (of course you wouldn't know where these things are but any local should be able to point you in the right direction

  My fiance and I were thinking about all-inclusive places for our honeymoon at the end of September. We were looking at Turtle Beach Resort on the island of Barbados. Has anyone been there? Are the beaches nice? Are there fun activities to do? And also, is it very busy?

  Answer:-I have been there but only for lunch. I enjoyed it. The beach there is lovely mostly had tourist on it, it was very playful and the atmosphere/location was very nice. I think you'd enjoy it. there the staff was friendly and accomodating.

  We're looking for good, inexpensive places to eat and things to do. All the activities offered by Expedia are outrageously priced. While we're at it, anyone stayed at The Crane before? Experiences?
  
  Answer:-Hi there.
  I'm Barbadian so I can't tell you anything about the Crane - it's a bit pricey for all us "locals". (I'm not in the country at the moment, tho I will be some time in July.)
  
  I browsed a couple of the answers and they seemed accurate (I only skimmed them, though). There's stuff to do but to suggest something nice, I'd have to know what you're interested in and how long you will be there.
  
  Some suggestions anyway:
  1) Festival - Go to Crop Over activities. They run from the beginning of July (actually a bit before that) to the first week in August. Some are free, others aren't too expensive, but read about it before you go, so you know what it's like. Try www.barbados.org. They have photos n everything there. The big street party is in August so if you're there then, go take a look.
  
  2) Beach beach beach - There are beaches everywhere. Try to go to several over the island, even the east coast, though you shouldn't try to swim most places there. (It's just nice to relax and walk around) Also, there's snorkeling, scuba diving, basically all sorts of water activities... or just lie there and bake :D
  
  3) Tours - Harrison's Cave, Welchman Hall Gully, Animal Flower Cave, the Flower Forrest, Atlantis submarine, an off-road tour, Jolly Roger cruise, Harbour Master cruise, a catamaran cruise, tour an old plantation home or old building, Mount Gay distilleries (world's oldest rum distillery) - various prices and experiences; depends on what you like; probably lots I've forgotten to mention.
  
  4) Food - depends on what you want the experience to be like: local or international. There are lots of restaurants, especially on the south coast - in St. Lawrence Gap, Worthing, Hastings, Maxwell - and some on the west coast, especially around Holetown. Further north is the Fish Pot - I've heard it's supposed to be good but I never tried it. My favourite got closed down to build condos, I think :( For "local" foods, I'd say you can get a bit going to Oistins on a Friday night - street party and fish fry. Otherwise, I think you'd have to know a Bajan (=Barbadian). It's too hard to tell you places to go and things to eat (plus I'm a bit tired at the moment) If you want fast food though, Chefette can be found alot of places. There's KFC but not at widespread. Also, Chefette has different stuff. OH and I like a pizza place called Pizzaz in Holetown. :) It's ... different. :D
  
  5) Partying - there are clubs & part-time clubs like Club Xtreme, Harbour Lights, the Boat Yard & the After Dark; sometimes there are cruises on the Harbour Master that are also for partyers. Where you go really depends on what your preference.
  
  6) Other stuff - make a friend :) A Bajan friend will be able to steer you to or away from stuff if they know something of your preferences. Find a nice taxi driver - they'll come to your hotel and pick u up, etc. Rent a car - if you're adventurous and are okay with driving on the left side of the road; drive around and see the country (I do that myself sometimes) There's a floor show at the Plantation Garden theater - never went though so no clue but I heard it's great. Well... just GO! You can find lots of info once you're there. :)

  Answer:-Well normally YOU would know if you've had your period and probably whomever lives with you would notice feminine products. Why is this important?
  
  And no, I don't think a blood test would show that. It would look for abnormalities in your blood, but it depends on what is being tested. Ask your doctor what he's looking for.

  If you are quite new to retracting your foreskin it will be quite sore for a while you should try gently stretching the foreskin outward (away from the body) and out to the sides whilst you are in the shower or a hot bath.
  
  I mean gently, DONT force it. This is an exercise to loosen the foreskin and toughen it up. I should be done over time until it feels comfortable and no longer sore.
  Then it won't affect your sex live and you wont bleed.

  Answer:-I recommend one of the municipalities outside of the Birmingham city limits -- Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Mountain Brook to the south or Gardendale, Fultondale, Mount Olive to the north -- stay away from the downtown area of the city -- it's not the safest place to be or live, and there is NO place to shop. I live in Hoover, which is about 10 miles south of downtown, and I work downtown.
  
  I've never even been to Tuscaloosa even though I've lived here now for 18 years. I do know it's a college town. The University of Alabama is there.
  
  The climate is typical southeastern US -- it's HOT in the summer, and just right in the spring, fall and winter.

  Answer:-Miami, Fl or Miami, Ohio? Either way I think you'll like T-town. I grew up there as a child and have come back to the area after retirement.   Answer:-No, but train tickets from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa are about $17.00 & bus tickets are about $10.00 to $16.00. Both are about an hour ride. It's a lot cheaper than the taxi & shuttle services. The Tuscaloosa Transit Authority has Trolleys on fixed routes for $1.00 & 20¢ transfers. Hope this helps.

  Answer:-January is one of our top rainy months. You are looking at highs of 55-63 and lows around 41-50. There can be some really cold temps if we get freaky weather. I've scraped ice off of my windshield when living right along Mission Bay.
  
  Humidity is really nothing to be concerned about in January. I'd put it around 50% unless it rains then it's 100%
  
  February is usually the wettest month of the year. Temps are like January.
  
  March is weird. It's a transition month like October is. Very unpredictable weather conditions. It could rain for two weeks or high pressure could settle in and it will be in the high 60s and lower 70s. One thing I have noticed about March is that the way it starts is opposite of the way it ends. If it starts out cold it will end up warm. If it starts out dry it will end up wet.
  
  You will have more sunny days than May and June.

  Answer:-The climate of La Jolla California - near San Diego is heavily moderated by the cool Pacific Ocean just to the west. Normal yearly rainfall is only 10 inches, but from April until October, normally there is no rain at all. The sun is out over 70% of the time, but we do have the May Gray June Gloom - which in the mornings is a low deck of clouds, which burns off in the late morning hours.
  Normal highs are in the 60's in January, which is the wettest month of the year, averaging 2 inches.
  Snowfall is as frequent here as it is in Miami - both have seen snow once. The last measurable snow in La Jolla was in 1949, and it was well under an inch. Temperatures rarely go below 40 in the winter, and the last time it went below freezing was over 20 years ago.
  In the summer, it is always sunny, and it never rains - our record rainfall for July is like .2 of an inch.
  Normal highs are in the 70's on the coast, but rapidly rise into the 90's and 100's just a few miles inland.
  Temperatures, with an east wind can reach 100 degrees even on the water, with the Santa Ana winds, but this is a rare occassion. However, there will be several days every year - usually in late summer when you will have a few abnormally hot days in the mid 90's or higher even on the water.

  I live in a VERY nice complex, and we pay $1600 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. There are one bedroom units down the street from us that are going for about $900. We live in Point Loma.
  
  If you go south to Chula Vista (the East & West sides are not that horrible -- having lived there I know), you can find decent places for about $1000, and if you head south to Imperial Beach you can find fairly priced places as well (I've lived there too...used to pay $600 for a 2 BR 1 Bath about 7 years ago -- although I'm sure the rents have gone up considerably since then).
  
  It will also depend on where you plan to work and how much commuting you want to do. Gas is a bit more expensive out here, and 20 miles doesn't seem like much to commute, but when you're crawling along at 10 mph it can take a LONG time to get to/from work. So you have to decide whether you want to commute & spend 1/3 of your life in traffic, or pay a bit more for rent.

  Answer:-October is one of the best times of the year. Hot days, cool nights, clear skies, low humidity. There is also a good chance of Santa Anna like conditions, which means hot air blowing in off the desert. IMO September-October are the best weather months of the year. November can be a bit tricky. Chance of rain increases and you could get a storm coming in from the north with cold winds. The seasons change here like a light switch. There will be a change in weather patterns and one day it's summer, the next it's fall-winter. This usually happens in November.
  
  San Diego is a great vacation spot: best Zoo in the world, the Wild Animal Park, dozens of museums in Balboa Park, Shedd Aquarium, Sea World, La Jolla, beaches, surfing, sailing, casinos, NFL Football. ML Baseball, etc. You are also close to Disneyland and L.A. Be aware that the ocean temperature is never warm here, It is a northern current and even in the summer, it almost never breaks 70 degrees.

  Answer:-Well, I live here in San Diego and inland it has been in the low to mid 90s during the day and cooling off at night but we still leave the air on all night.
  
  The coast has been in the 80s nice sunny and warm but I hear there is supposed to be marine layer in the morning this weekend.
  
  But come on out and enjoy the nice weather, bring lots of shorts and shirts, maybe a light sweatshirt if you get cold easily but you more than likely won't need it!
