  • Question:-What was the Neil Diamond song he performed in Saving Silverman movie?
Neil Diamond and the rest of the cast in the movie Saving Silverman were on a concert stage and sang a song together.

Can anyone tell me the name of that song?

Thanks for any and all help.

    Answer:-holly holy
  • Question:-Is it true that singer Neil Diamond has disowned Dustin Diamond?
Former child star Dustin Diamond is the biological son of popular singer Neil Diamond, although they've apparently had a falling out. I heard that Neil has cut Dustin out of his will because he thinks that Dustin is a terrible actor, extremely ugly, and an overall embarrassment to the Diamond name. Can anyone confirm these details or provide additional details?

Answer:-Neil Diamond is a successful singer and is ashamed that his son Dustin turned out to be such a loser and douche. The guy above is correct that Neil has other sons Jesse and Micah. However, Dustin pushed Neil's buttons so much that Dustin has been the only son that he's actually disowned (so far).

I think that Neil was ready to make up with Dustin in the early 1990s but was so enraged when Dustin started acting in Saved By The Bell: The New Class that he completely wrote Dustin out of his will. He must have thought that Dustin totally sucked on that show.
  • Question:-Who sings the song touching you, touching me i know its not neil diamond who sings the newer version its in?
Taylor Swifts video she made when she went to Londen for the first time. The Neil Diamond one is deff not the one.

Answer:-i believe in a thing called love - the darkness
  • Question:-Why Neil Diamond at the Billboard Awards?
Neil Diamond is quite old now, and it's very doubtful that many of the young age group that filled that audience even knew who he was. Look at who were up for the awards, Ke$ha, Beiber, Rhianna, Brittany Spears etc. All of them young enough to be Neil's great grandchildren. And the kids in the audience were mostly probably in the same age group according to all the kiddie screams. It's like that award show is for the teenyboppers. Now I could see Neil Diamond on the Grammy award. That award show awards more older refined singers.

Answer:-Like Lady oh said, he was receiving the ICON Award and maybe Billboard wanted to remind listeners what music sounds like without having high tech effects to be able to sound good !
  • Question:-neil diamond?
is it just me or do you find it REALLY creepy how he wrote "sweet caroline" about caroline kennedy.......when she was like 11!!!!

Answer:-You're taking it out of context. It's actually a sweet song.
  • Question:-Can you write a funny story with these Neil Diamond songs?
    1) Love on the rocks.
    2) You're so sweet horseflies keep hangin' 'round your face.
    3) I'll come running.
    4) Red, red wine.
    5) Don't turn around.
    6) You'll never be anything but mine.
    7) Can anybody hear me?

Special consideration for additional Neil Diamond songs.
He's got a gazillion of them!
    GRRR!!! Can't decide!!

Answer:-"Hey buddy, gimme a love onthe rocks, will ya?"
I turned around to see a dirty old man with coal dust on his clothes and trail dust in his beard.
The bartender kept cleaning the glass he was holding and snarled, "Yeah, I'll come running if you show me some cash, Pete."
Apparently this guy had been here before. I sipped my red, red wine and regarded this newcomer. Suddenly he looked my way and I tried to avoid his eye, but he said, No, don't turn around. I can see you're wondering about me. If you'll spot me a drink or two, I'll tell you the story of my Sweet Caroline."
Well, I'm a sucker for a good story, so I agreed.
Seems this guy had a lot of trouble with the ladies--had a good heart, but his mouth kept tripping him up. The story of Caroline started on a September morn. She stepped off the train and walked away with his heart back in 1859. That was the year the flies were so bad, so of course the flies were following everyone around. Well, he thought many more followed Caroline than anyone else, so his best opening line was, "Baby, you're so sweet horseflies keep hangin' round your face."
That earned him a slap in the face, but he kept trying--complimenting her manure brown hair, her blister-red lips, her coyote eyes...I could see where this was headed.
He finally got so desperate that he dropped the compliments and simply said, "Oh, baby, you'll never be anything but mine!"
Sweet Caroline turned on him and landed a fist in his belly, saying, "There, ya creep! That'll turn on yer heartlight!"
That's where the bartender entered the story. He had seen the whole thing and took pity on old Pete, offering him a drink or two to ease the pain.
Turns out what Pete lacked in the romance department, he made up for in the mooching department. In a night's time, he drank the bartender right out of his establishment, the Longfellow Serenade, and never paid him a dime.
After telling me this, old Pete stood up and staggered quickly out of the bar. "Hey!" I said, "What about Caroline? Why are you so dirty? Why does the bartender allow you in here when you don;t pay your tab?"
Old Pete just cackled and said, "I guess I didn't tell you, I'm not much of a story teller either!"
As I sat staring open-mouthed after this freeloader, the bartender laid down a bill in front of me---$42! Well, I guess the old geezer's other talent is guzzling the booze....
Well, maybe I'll go try to find Sweet Caroline....
  • Question:-Does anyone want two tickets to see Neil Diamond at Fenway on August 23rd?
I had bought two tickets to see Neil Diamond but I will be out of state on that day. If you would like them please email me and we can negotiate a price.

    Answer:-yeah! gimmie!
  • Question:-What do you think of Neil Diamond?
Im 39 years old and I grew up listening to my Fathers albums of Neil Diamond. I took my father to a Neil Diamond concert last night, and I will say it was the best performance I have ever seen. He played all the great hits, and while I watched him I realized... it's not his distinctive voice that makes him great. It's that he writes all of his music and when you listen you can't help but hear how he has influenced Music of the 60's 70's. He is really a great songwriter.

Answer:-when I was kid my step-father was really into him and I am just a few years younger than you are and we watched the Jazz Singer together it my first time seeing the movie and I loved the movie I thought it was a great story and very inspirational, its been a long time since I have heard any of that but I remember the song "Hello" like it was yesterday good song and yeah hes a good song writer
  • Question:-Is Neil Diamond's London Electric Prom's performance going to be broadcast on TV?
I can see that Elton John's show from Friday will be shown on the Saturday on BBC2, but I cannot find any mention of Neil Diamond's performance on any schedule. Any help please?

Answer:-It is my understanding that Diamond's show will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2. Then, on November 13, BBC Two television is doing A Night With Neil Diamond which will not only include highlights from the Electric Prom's show but also a documentary on his career.

Lulu also just announced that she'll be singing The Boat That I Row at the Diamond concert. Not sure if there will be other guests (UB40?).

wild horses lyrics

  • Question:-Song with "wild horses" in the lyrics (NOT U2 or Rolling Stones!) I think the singer appeared in this other?
The song is a ballad type and has the line "wild horses couldn't have dragged me away...(pause)... from you"

I imagine that the singer was in this unrelated video (Sorry I can't find his name) but he was a crooner kinda guy & he had a video in the very late 80's (89?) that was done in black & white with a supermodel (don't remember her name either) laying over him topless and covering herself with his chest/hug and images of clouds and her either putting a finger in her mouth in close up or biting her lip. She had black hair & blue eyes & was stunning at the time. (Now she's overweight and plain looking if that helps). Since I dont' remember names I can't search these two. (The song here in question had "no I don't wanna fall in love with you" but I searched this and that's a Julia Child song)

Anyway but the above video is just to give you the name of the singer. That's not the song that I'm looking for here! But I believe he might be the singer of the song that I'm looking for again with lyrics "wild horses couldn't have dragged me away from you"

And if he's not the singer it's someone similar sounding.

    Thanks for your help
I googled the lyrics & it only gives 2 returns, unrelated of course!
OMG! That's it! It's the Gino guy. Didn't recognize it at all until he said the line. Thanks so much! Never have I heard about him b4 or since. Thanks again will give u BA :)

Answer:-I believe this is the song you're looking for :)

Answer:-Natasha Bedingfield - Wild Horses Lyrics
    Album: Unwritten

    Lyrics:
    Hmmm woah yea...

I feel these 4 walls closing in
My face up against the glass
    Im looking out... hmm
Is this my life im wondering

How do I turn this thing around
Is this the bed I chose to make
Its greener pastures i'm thinking about hmm
    Wide open spaces far away

  • Question:-"Wild Horses" Rolling Stones sheet music for a tattoo... ?
i have always loved Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones. I want to incorporate some of the lyrics into a tattoo. I am trying to find sheet music that includes the lyrics so that the excerpt that I want is in the right place with the music notes.

I, unfortunately, can't read music easily, and so identifying this by myself is a hard task.

Does any one know a good resource for me to find this?

Answer:-idk.... but i love that song too!!
  • Question:-Have you ever heard the U2 song "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses"?
You know what has always bothered me about that one? Lyrically, it is without a doubt U2s most beautiful song. I mean, just look at these lyrics:

Who's gonna ride your wild horses?
Who's gonna drown in your blue sea?
Who's gonna taste your salt water kisses?
Who's gonna take the place of me?

Who's gonna ride your wild horses?
Who's gonna tame the heart of thee?

My problem is, it sounds like they recorded it in a damn warehouse. You can barely hear the lyrics. If you've heard it, you'll know what I mean.

Answer:-Yes, it is a truly beautiful song. I think the warehouse effect adds to the beauty. It's kinda haunting. Achtung Baby is my fav U2 album. I like Acrobat. That song is one of the best ever. I think that album is the most played in my collection. A fantastic array of truly beautiful songs.
  • Question:-At the end of the song 'Wild Horses' on the album 'Unwritten' by Natasha Bedingfield there is a hidden song.
I have whatever copy of the CD they sell in canada and the song starts 7 minutes into the song. What is this song called, if you know and what are the lyrics?

Answer:-the name of the song is "sojourn"....heres the site for the lyrics
  • Question:-A "Wild Horses" cover from the mid-90s?
I recall a cover of the Rolling Stones song "Wild Horses" from a commercial that I believe aired in the mid-90s. All I can remember of the commercial was a horse struggling to gallop through a snow bank - I'm not sure if the commercial was for beer or cologne or what. The singer was a woman with a hauntingly beautiful voice, and the lyrics "couldn't drag me away" were harmonized.

Does anyone know the artist who performed that song? Is it available on iTunes, or elsewhere?

    Answer:-A band called The Sundays

it was a Budwieser commercial btw
  • Question:-"Wild Horses" for a wedding song?
We are having a very untraditional ceremony outdoors on a farm in October. It will be eclectic/classic vintage.

I heard Susan Boyle's version of the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" this week. It was absolutely amazing.. beautifully haunting!

I read the lyrics, and they of course don't sound like a wedding song, but do you think it would be okay for me to walk down the aisle to this song? Her voice sounds like an angel, and I've listened to her other songs and none of them are what I am looking for, but I can't get over her voice!

If you were at the wedding, would you think it's weird?
I've looked up interpretations of the lyrics and I don't think it really has a clear meaning. If it does, it's negative, but the song is still beautiful. Darn lyrics!

I can edit music, so I'm wondering if I can cut parts of it and piece it together to have the lyrics I want??

Answer:-here are 2 that might do you, devotchka also do an AMAZING version of ''till the last beat of my heart'' by siouxess & the banshees. i actually posted a comment like ''my wife can organise everything for my wedding day whenever it comes, but this is the song im picking''

  • Question:-Ever watch a children's movie with a song in it that repeates over and over-"free the horses running wild"
In elementary or middle school 10-15 years ago we watched a movie that had a song it, it that was sung over and over again. The song had the lyrics

"Free the horses running wild. Free the horses. Free the child"

It was a fictional movie with live actors. I think it was from the eighties.

    What was the movie's title?

Answer:-That's from a video published by my company, Active Parenting Publishers. It's from the "Free the Horses: A Self-Esteem Adventure" program, still used by elementary schools around the country. We sell the book & CD from the program if you want to hear the songs again!

  • Question:-The To Tell The Truth episode with Loretta Lynn and her husband?
I saw somewhere that in 1968 Loretta Lynn was on To Tell The Truth, and that her husband Doo was in the contest where the panelists were trying to determine who the real Mooney Lynn was. Does anyone have this, or is there a way of watching it online?

Answer:-The 1968 CBS daytime TTTT episode in question does exist (and has been shown on GSN in the past); that clip is on YouTube.
  • Question:-Does anyone have the Lifetime's Intimate Portrait biography of Loretta Lynn?
I saw that years ago, and it is the best Loretta Lynn biography out there. I'd love to have a copy.

Answer:-Unfortunately I don't, but I agree with you it was great. Occasionally Lifetime or A&E airs them around 4am, so keep check on your tv listings. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
  • Question:-How is Loretta Lynn a better songwriter than Dolly?
I mean no direspect to Loretta, because she has written some great songs, but she just hasn't written anywhere near close to Doly. Dolly has written way more songs. Dolly has also written several classic, like I Will Always Love You, Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene, which have been covered numerous times.

Answer:-I respect and like them both for writing their own stuff
  • Question:-Why is Loretta Lynn so good, but all other female country singers suck?
Dolly, Reba, Tammy, etc... all are just plain awful. Loretta is a far better and songwriter than them all put together.

Answer:-Loretta's voice is real. It's not contrived with a fake southern accent (sophisticates made fun of her rhyming "hard" and "tired" in "Coal Miner's Daughter," but that's the way she talks and sings) and it certainly isn't fixed with a computer! Honestly, however, her voice is as much an acquired taste as Dolly's (which I do have a taste for), Tammy's (ditto), or Reba's (which I do not have a taste for).

BTW, I notice you didn't DARE put Loretta's favorite singer, Patsy Cline, in the "suck" category. Smart move on your part.
  • Question:-How often does Loretta Lynn come to California?
I live in Sacramento and I saw on her website that she is going to be in Oregon next month. I know that Oregon is one state away from me but the California-Oregon line is about 400 miles from where I live and then I'd have to go another 250 into Oregon after I cross over so I can't really do that. She is my favorite female country singer and 2nd favorite overall and I'd really like to see her live sometime.

    Answer:-once a year,, for a show~~~
  • Question:-Is Loretta Lynn the only female country singer in history that wrote her own songs?
She wrote probably about 75% of her own material. No other female country singer have written as much as 50%.

Answer:-You forget about Dolly Parton. She has written all or most of her music also.
  • Question:-Who is a better singer and songwriter: Dolly Parton or Loretta Lynn?
I really like both of them. Dolly is my all time fave, but I do like Tammy very much too. My 2 favorite songs from them are "I Will Always Love You" and "Coat of Many Colors" (Dolly) and "Coal Miner's Daughter" and "You Ain't Woman Enough" (Loretta).

So, who is the better singer, who is the better songwriter, and what are your favorite songs of both?

Answer:-Loretta Lynn - You Ain't Woman Enough (to take my man)
