  Answer:-Nate Washington is a better pick up because he will be there #1 WR now and he was putting up good points when brit was there and I wouldnt pick up David nelson because the buffalo bills aren't always going to throw for 300 to 400 yards every week and he is their 3rd WR

  Answer:-David Nelson is the safer play. But Manningham has a really good match up. I actually dropped Nelson for Manningham when someone in my league overreacted to the injury. Manningham is much more likely to take it to the house and you saw what Cruz did in that position last week, but you can pretty much bank on 70-80 yards and about 50-50 for a score from Nelson. I would start Manningham until you see a reason not to, simply because of the big play potential.

  I'm worried about double teams on Nicks especially with Nmadi at Cornerback for the Eagles.

  Answer:-Nicks will see a lot of coverage, but he is still #1 on his team and with his supporting cast out he is going to see a lot of targets. The Giants will be passing alot in this game and Nicks will get a solid # of looks.
  
  Nelson is still a slot guy and unless your league is ppr, he probably wont put up amazing numbers as a possession guy. He will have a good game against the Pats as the BILLS (lol at above poster) will be throwing alot to try to keep up. But Nicks is a top 10 WR. You want to start him every week.

  Bruno and Len loved it but Carrie Ann said there was some things she didn't like. He got a 26 over all and is in 2nd place behind Rikki Lake, she got 29.

  Answer:-I love his personality and he is a great dancer..of the guys he is the best without a doubt and he told this wonderful and emotional story about this man who is a soldier and this letter to his wife...and payed tribute to all the soldiers who didn't make it home.
  It was the most touching story..it's also totallly normal that there was a point in his life when he saw he was still such a young handsome man and suddenly had such severe burns on face and body that depression set in and for a while he did not want to live..it takes a real man to admit this and it takes a hero to then change his mind and say'' whatever happened even if I am scarred I want to make the best of my life and I want to inspire others...He is a guy who has my respect and who is a wonderful person...it doesn't matter about his scars, because his beauty comes from the inside..he has such a wonderful personality that one forgets the scars and the burn marks and only sees that he is a great person and apart from that a great inspiration and a great dancer who learns quickly...x

  Answer:-Spiritually speaking I cannot imagine that there is anything in this world that I could care less about.
• Question:-Who is the all-time best black baseball pitcher? I'm thinking Gibson...Pedro Martinez is also very good but
  his name sounds Hispanic...I shudder to think how good J. R. Richard might have been if he hadn't had the stroke.
  
  Answer:-We can't count Satchell Paige, since he pitched in the Negro Leagues and rarely had to face white hitters, so we really have no criteria by which to base any analysis of him.
  
  Of the ones we can analyze, I've been watching baseball since 1966, so I've seen quite a few.
  
  Without a doubt, Bob Gibson was the best. He was intimidating on the mound. He was the one guy that NOBODY wanted to face.
  
  Ferguson Jenkins was great (He's from Canada). He is underrated due to winning most of his games for the Cubs. He and Gibson were workhorses when the word workhorse meant something.
  
  Dave Stewart was excellent, once he got his career together. You can thank Dave Duncan for that.
  
  I never saw him but, Don Newcombe is often mentioned in this kind of discussion. However, he only had 2 20-win seasons and won just 146 games in a 10-year career. I really think that he ranks well below Gibson and Jenkins. However, some of his early season were spent in the Negro Leagues so, therefore, we have no base for comparison.
  
  We'll never know how great J.R. Richard would have been. He was excellent for the time he was well. He could have been another Nolan Ryan in the K category. He had problems with walks early in his career, but was getting better before his stroke.
  
  Jim "Mudcat" Grant was another good one in the 60s and 70s. He also set the tone for Dennis Eckersley, as he became a reliever for the As, Cards & Pirates after his starting days were done.
  
  Earl Wilson was good for the Red Sox & the Tigers in the 60s. He was also a good-hitting pitcher who nailed 35 HR in his career.
  
  A pretty good pitcher for the 60s Pirates was Bob Veale. He was a left hander who got a lot of Ks. He won 16= several years in a row. His major drawback was a high rate of BBs. Had he been with a better team, say the Cards, he might have been a multiple 20 game winner.
  
  Al Downing was a good pitcher for the NYY, who later won 20 for the Dodgers, and is most famous for giving up Hank Aaron's record breaking #715.
  
  On the whole, I would rate them as follows:

  3) J.R. Richard (based on what he showed in his limited career)

  I wouldn't count Pedro, even if he was not Hispanic. Pedro would not be able to do what those listed above did. He has never been much more than a 6 inning pitcher. Great for the first 100 pitches, trashed after that. In the heyday of the men above, Pedro would be a 4th starter or long reliever.

  Answer:-Most of it I'm cool with except for the Aidan thing. Why is it that soap writers can't seem to make a character interesting unless them make him/her bad? I've always liked Aidan and respected his integrity. Unfortunately, once again, the writers have decided that integrity is a thing of the past. Wonder who raised *them*.

• Question:-How do steakhouses like Ruth's Chris cook their Lamb Chop dinners?
  
  I have electric appliances, and also would like to know how to get steakhouse quality from them.
  
  Answer:-Lamb can be done on the broiler like steaks, they cook at 600 d F on high efficiency broilers, some will roast racks but if there cooking lon chop it is generally on the broiler, I was chef for many years and like them char-broiled.
• Question:-Looking for how Ruth's Chris cook their steaks, not recipe 4 garlic butter!?
  Anyone knows how Ruth's Chris cook their steaks? Besides the quality of meat & a really hot broiler/over, there must be a method & timing to get the same juicy melt-in-your-mouth perfection that comes on the plate.
  
  Answer:-Actually I think you have everything right there already.
  
  They use a top quality beef that was raised just for them using their standards. They use a patented broiler that I hear gets up to 1600 or 1800 degrees that would not be doable at home, and they use garlic butt on them to season.
  
  To get a great steak, you have to start out with a great piece of beef - that is half the battle.
  
  I agree, they have one of the better slices of cow available.
  
  edited to add: And I would guess that they dry age their beef. The best steaks are dry aged 6-8 weeks. But any dry ageing is generally better than wet aging using enzymes.

  Answer:-I think you have to be 18.
• Question:-How do I cook a filet mignon so it tates like like they do at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse?
  I love the steaks at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse but I can't afford to eat there every week...any way I could find out the recipe for how to cook their Filet Mignon and their chopped salad?
  
  Answer:-My fiance worked for a very high end steakhouse just like Ruth's Chris. Basically...the key to their steak is quality. You need to get Prime filet...nothing else or it won't even compare. If it isn't USDA Prime...do not buy it! The other thing is that they cook at very very high tempatures. They sear it on the grill very quickly and then they broil the steak at about 1600-1800 degress (each steakhouse is different).
  
  Issue with that is...most of us do not have the capabilities to cook at those temperatures at home. Best you can do is start on the grill then move to the broiler to finish it off. The other thing you could do is serve it on the plate of butter like Ruth's Chris does.
  
  And Please--whatever you do..do not ever order your steak well done! Trust me when I say that they'll be laughing at you in the kitchen. Savor the meat---don't kill the flavor!
