  Drew Brees will be my main starter on my fantasy football team, but I do have Matthew Stafford as well which gives me some things to play around with. Drew Brees and the saints play the GB Packers week 1, which may lower Drew Brees numbers. Matt Stafford and the Lions play Tampa Bay, so I think Matt Stafford will light up that defense. What do you think? Should I start Stafford in week 1?
  
  Answer:-I'm from Detroit, but I'm not a fanatic Lions fan. I would start Stafford, he is looking great this preseason and he really killed it when he did play last season. I expect Stafford to put up over 350 yard and 2-3 TD's against TB. I don't think Brees will do that against GB. The Saints have a reworked line and they are more dedicated to the run this season. Also, Colston is still recovering from knee injury and Lance Moore (#3 WR) is suffering from a groin injury. GB is not going to let Brees throw to the TE all day like he did during the preseason. I'd go Stafford all the way!

  Charles "might" weigh 180, he wouldn't last the season carrying the ball 20 times a game. IMO, the Chiefs would be smart to keep his carries under 220 for the year. At least if they expect him to be around for a few more years.

  Answer:-The Ravens wont be the same this year as previous years and Darren McFadden has no fantasy value. His turf toe injury won't go away, it needs complete rest for a long period of time so an off-season won't fully heal it. Expect him to play 5-8 games this season before being sidelined. In them 5-8 weeks the raiders offense don't have the penetration to get him many yards either.

  Answer:-I think Foster is a lock until he gets shut down consistently. You don't get 200+ and 3tds if you suck. I like Gore. Even though the O for Minnesota was shaky, Peterson still got 100+ total yards against New Orleans. Gore will get his touches and yards. I think he has more upside.

  Frank Gore from the 49ers went to the Pro Bowl 2 years ago in his sophomore season, and lead the NFC in rushing yards that year. Marion Barber went to the Pro Bowl last year, and is the primary starter for the Cowboys this year.
  
  Answer:-Frank Gore. He's stronger, gives a slight bit of speed up but has a knack for finding holes, and he can also play the role of a WR much better than Barber.
  
  Did you see just how "good" Barber was against a very tough defense in the New York Giants that likes to send heat? He did just awful. He wouldn't have put up 1700 yards playing for San Francisco two years ago with the 49ers line.

  Answer:-David Nelson is the safer play. But Manningham has a really good match up. I actually dropped Nelson for Manningham when someone in my league overreacted to the injury. Manningham is much more likely to take it to the house and you saw what Cruz did in that position last week, but you can pretty much bank on 70-80 yards and about 50-50 for a score from Nelson. I would start Manningham until you see a reason not to, simply because of the big play potential.

  Answer:-Nicks will see a lot of coverage, but he is still #1 on his team and with his supporting cast out he is going to see a lot of targets. The Giants will be passing alot in this game and Nicks will get a solid # of looks.
  
  Nelson is still a slot guy and unless your league is ppr, he probably wont put up amazing numbers as a possession guy. He will have a good game against the Pats as the BILLS (lol at above poster) will be throwing alot to try to keep up. But Nicks is a top 10 WR. You want to start him every week.

  Answer:-I am a Chicago fan and I did some research on this Forte guy and I watched some highlights on him he seems like a decent back & looks like he's going to do for us what Cedric Benson couldn't....He displays nice power and tackle breaking ability, which combined with his size and running skills allows him to run inside and outside. He has a big frame and good strength. He can be a downhill runner when he plays with proper pad level and uses his big frame as a battering ram. He has shown good receiving and blocking skills. He does lack elite speed but not all great backs had elite speed. He's a 4.4, 4.5 forty kind of guy

  Answer:-I really like Forte, possibly more than AP. I'd be pretty temped, especially if you're light on your WR. I think you'll see some good consistency with Forte. AP has a new center, and a rookie tackle in front of him now, though I think Farve may open up the throwing threat more to allow Peterson room. I think it really depends on if you're light on WR, it wouldn't take much to push me over!

  Answer:-Forte. Yahoo projections are typically useless. Hillis will most likely splits carries with Harrison; where as Forte should get 70% of the work over taylor, and be a bigger factor in the passing game. Even the Bears get down he should still get plenty of check-downs and garbage yards.

  Answer:-Keep Matt Forte, he is stronger as he is often looked to for receptions. His production on the ground will be up and down through the season but when it's up he will get you a lot of points and the addition of receiving yards will make it that much better. Cincinnati is, as you said, too pass oriented to give their running back too much of an opportunity to make solid fantasy numbers. Also, the Cincinnati defense will stick their offense in a hole often this season which will make Palmer air it out which will severely cut the production of Benson.

  Drew Brees will be my main starter on my fantasy football team, but I do have Matthew Stafford as well which gives me some things to play around with. Drew Brees and the saints play the GB Packers week 1, which may lower Drew Brees numbers. Matt Stafford and the Lions play Tampa Bay, so I think Matt Stafford will light up that defense. What do you think? Should I start Stafford in week 1?
  
  Answer:-I'm from Detroit, but I'm not a fanatic Lions fan. I would start Stafford, he is looking great this preseason and he really killed it when he did play last season. I expect Stafford to put up over 350 yard and 2-3 TD's against TB. I don't think Brees will do that against GB. The Saints have a reworked line and they are more dedicated to the run this season. Also, Colston is still recovering from knee injury and Lance Moore (#3 WR) is suffering from a groin injury. GB is not going to let Brees throw to the TE all day like he did during the preseason. I'd go Stafford all the way!

  Answer:-If he's a big Saints fan, then it's a great gift if you can find something affordable. Of course, if things work out, you could always get him Superbowl tickets to see the Saints live... As a father myself, I appreciate even just the effort of picking out something tailored to my interests no matter what the actual gift is.

  Answer:-You start Rivers because the Chiefs are awful and the Chargers are a better team than the Saints. Rivers has more weapons and will get more fantasy points, especially against cellar-dwellers like the Chiefs. The Falcons will most likely beat the Saints anyway.

I dont trust him, and released him but I would give him a shot this week and if he doesnt put up good numbers, let him stay on the bench.

  Answer:-there are two camps on D-mac.
  
  Arkansas fans, and those who are sold on speed, claim he runs like Adrian Peterson. They are also smoking crack.
  
  Both are explosive, game changing runners. BUT, All-Day attacks the defenders, and hits them first. All Day runs BETWEEN the tackles, and keeps churning up the hard yards, whether he is going North/South or East/West.
  
  D-mac on the other hand, prefers the East/West style. He also prefers to dance around the periphery looking for a hole. He also runs AROUND the defender, not through, and in fact, NFL Network ran scouting tape on him, and his legs go limp on contact.
  
  Make no mistake....at the college level D-mac is a beast. But dnacers don't make great NFL RBs.
  
  
  This is where the second, more accurate camp comes in.
  
  The Reggie Bush camp. The only significant difference between the two, is D-mac is Bigger, and can ccasionally throw the ball. Otherwise they are identical in running style.
  
  And how well has Bush done as an RB? He makes a decent WR, but he was totally inneffective as an RB, without McAllister to get the hard yards. There is a reason Pete Caroll platooned him with Lendale White. Bush was used to exploit the slow defenses, Lendale the fast ones (he would just run them over). And Carroll himself made the observation that in the NFL, ALL defenses are fast.
  
  Funnily enough...2 years ago, before the draft, Bush was being touted as a Once in a Lifetime talent. Sound familiar?
  
  Between his lack of Running toughness, and Characterr issues, Mike Mayock doesn't even give D-mac a top 10 grade anymore. I'm sure Jerry Jones and Al Davis would disagree.
  
  And hey...if Jones wants to give up Marion Barber and two first round picks to get a situational 'Tweener...who am I to complain? Anything that screws the Cowboys is OK by me.

  The Patriots have the number 2 pick in the NFL draft. So Im sure they are going to go with McFadden. What else can go good for the Patriots.
  
  Answer:-Perfectly. He has outstanding character and will fit right in with the "humble pie" mentality. In terms of X's and O's he gives them a legitimate running game, and the Pats can use a system like the Vikings did this year. But Maroney is not as good a Chester Taylor so you would see McFadden get more carries than Peterson did this year. He will also add an explosiveness to the Punt/Kick return game.

  The Raiders might lose but Darren McFadden had another 100+ rushing yards game and getting his first rushing touchdown this year. I think he is better than Chris Johnson this year because the Raiders have a bad Offensive Line.

  Answer:-Well it's against KC so its a good match up for Harrison. He is a guy that can blow up huge when given the chance. We saw those numbers at the end of the season last year.... but until you know he gets the majority of the carries. Its kind of up in the air for now. Id start a Joseph Addai over him. Safer. but if you team is that good why not gamble for Harrison.

  Jerome Harrison just came off a monstrous week setting a record for third most yards in a game (284) and is facing oakland who gives up 149 rush yards on average per game. I have Thomas Jones on the other hand who is extremely consistent and has been money all year. My original plan was to start harrison all week but Ive been second guessing because he is really inconsistent and there is nothing that says he will get all the carries.

  Answer:-I'd say Barber. He will get a lot of goaline carries and he still will get enough carries to make a difference on the team. The Browns are a bad team who won't score very often and we aren't even sure if Jerome Harrison is the starter or not. Harrison is the bigger risk, but also probably has the bigger upside too.
