- Question:-Walmart?????
Does Walmart sell Cream Puffs the Frozen Dessert?
Answer:-Yep. In the freezer section next to the pies and the eclairs. Usually about $5.00 for a container of them. - Question:-walmart???
how old do you have to be to work at walmart??
Answer:-In Bentonville, home of Wal-Mart my daughter's best friend has been working at the store for two years (since she was 16) and she loves it. Of course there are laws about how long a 16 year old can work and stuff. It's a great place to work. Good luck! - Question:-WALMART ............... ?
Answer:-...destroys local businesses. And is just generally awful. - Question:-WALMARt!!!!!!!!!?
ppl i need the times its open and cl,oses and what days!!!
please n thx!
Answer:-24/7, if you go to a Super Walmart! - Question:-I bought some blueberries at Walmart and the next day I got spam offering blueberry plants for sale. How?
I keep getting some curious looking spam. The names are often family members or friends (coincidence?). I bought some blueberries at Walmart and the next day I got a spam for some blueberry plants. I paid at Walmart using my debit card. Is Walmart giving away my personal info or is someone hacking Walmart's computers?
Answer:-Sounds more like a coincidence. We sometimes hear about someone who had a premonition and didn't get on a flight that later crashed, but we never hear about the people who had premonitions and didn't get on flights that landed safely.
Walmart would have to have some way getting your email address from your debit card number. It's not likely your bank would give it out even if they have it, and it's even less likely Walmart could hack it any other way.
Hope that helps. - Question:-How does Walmart sell stuff for so cheap and make money?
I was on the Walmart website, and everything is so freaking cheap! I live in a third world country and we pay way more than that for stuff. How does Walmart sell stuff for so cheap?
Answer:-Due to their purchasing power. They buy in extreme volume and get bulk discount pricing. Also, they tell vendors what they will pay them not vice versa. If a vendor doesn't like the price Walmart will find a vendor that will give them their price. Most vendors don't want to lose Walmart's business so they agree to Walmart's purchase price. Walmart is then able to offer the goods for the low prices that they do.
I was able to tour one of their warehouses and they are quite expansive. Walmart has mastered the art of knowing what they need, how much they need, and when they need it. They order merchandise months in advance. They also have their stores linked into their inventory system and are able to replenish their stores almost instantly. For example, if you bought a TV. The system registers that a tv was bought at sore x and sends out a notice to ship TV to store X to replenish the inventory stock at store x. This usually happens in the same day. This efficiency also helps to save in ordering and labor costs which also contributes to Walmart being able to offer low prices. - Question:-Is Walmart the best place to buy my first ballet leotard?
Today I am planning to go to payless and buy my shoes and tights, but is Walmart teh best place to buy my leotard?
Answer:-To be honest, neither payless or walmart are good stores to be buying dance clothes or shoes. You should either buy your shoes at the studio or go to a dance specialty store. Same with your leotard. The clothes at walmart are not good quality and your leotard will be falling appart after a few weeks. The material used in many of their leotard also doesn't let your skin breathe properly. Also, the dance shoes at payless are really cheaply made and are not suitable for anyone over the age of six. - Question:-How much $ has Walmart lost since the boycotters boycotted them for boycotting their Beck?
Are there any figures out on that yet? Are the Beck boycotters seriously believing that they can break Walmart's bank and bring them down? I don't care for Walmart and haven't shopped there in years, I'm just curious.
Answer:-Glenn Beck supporters put on their best "sweat suits" to shop at Walmart. They "class it up" - Question:-How long after the first interview does walmart call you for a second interview?
I had an interview with Walmart about 4 weeks ago for a part-time cashier and they have not contacted me yet. At this interview all I had to do was sign some papers with the manager who said that usually there is more than one interview done. The interview went great and I only had to answer a few questions like the hours that I am available to work. If you are a previous or current employee of Walmart please tell me how many interviews you had and how long it took to get the second one. I heard that it might take a while but I didn't think it would be this long. Should I keep calling Walmart to ask them?**I really really want this job.
Answer:-Tell them you are handicapped and you will get the job. - Question:-Whats the difference between walmart skateboards and normal skateboards like from Zumiez?
I really just want to go and now do many tricks so should i get a walmart skateboard? WHat should I get? I heard walmart skateboards are bad but whats the difference?
Answer:-Walmart skateboards are cheaper but only because they're made out of cheaper material. If you want the board to actually last a while a hold up, invest in a good board. If you go into a shop like Zumiez or Vans, they'll be able to tell you what the best board they have is and fit you with the right parts for a decent price. Spend the money on a good board so you don't have to worry about buying a new one soon when the Walmart one breaks. It depends on who wants the board and how serious they are.

best buy
- Question:-Best Buy???
Okay guys, so here's the situation I'm in. I'm a sophomore in college and a political science major, I recently got a job at City Hall that pays extremely well and gives me experience in my field of study. But the problem is I'm currently working for Best Buy, and even though they have their issues I still love it and the people I work with and don't wish to leave, part of the reason why I respect Best Buy is because they get involved in their community by volunteering to do things every so often. Not wishing to show off, but I am extremely good at getting MasterCard's and PRP's. So what I was thinking of doing is asking my general manager if they could stop putting me on the weekly schedule and only schedule me for the Sunday meetings in which I will be more than happy to run arons (basically being there *****) for example: bringing doughnuts, and training people to help get MasterCard's and PRPs etc. in exchange I would want to be in charge of the volunteer community events group at Best Buy. And keeping the discount if they wish, but not a big priority. PS. Also community events would help make my political resume look better. That's why I'm eager to stay. So I guess my question is, will he go for it? Or tell me to go screw off! LOL
Answer:-The only way you'll ever know is to ask! My only suggestion is that you look at it from Best Buy's vantage point: how will it benefit Best Buy? Try coming up with a pitch from that angle.
Good luck! I hope it works out for you. :-) - Question:-best buy...............?
i got a 60 dollor gift card to best buy
what should i buy
Answer:-what ever you fancy. go to the store (or website) and browse till you find $60 worth of stuff you want. - Question:-Best buy????
Got a 100 dollar gift card to best buy what should I spend it on?
Answer:-External back up hard drive!
I want one, haven't got around to it yet.... - Question:-How much would Best Buy charge to install a car stereo I purchased online from them?
I recently purchased a Sony CD Stereo from Best Buy online. I also purchased the dash mount kit and wiring harness from Amazon. If I took that all in to my local Best Buy, how much would they charge me for the install? Would they still honor the free install they normally offer with stereo purchase and use the items I bought from Amazon to cover the extra costs usually needed?
Answer:-if they offered a free install like you say they will do the job and the more parts you bring the less money you will have to pay for parts for the install, did they offer this when you bought the head unit if so bring proof of purchase from the site you bought it from, there sight..and you are going to need an Adaptor plug in that matches the car your driving.go to wall mart and tell them the type of ride you have yr make and model and they will sell you the right one .its about10 bucks this attaches to your new head unit and plugs into your stock radio harness 2 plugs one for speakers and the other for power. the wiring diagram comes with it so you can't go wrong. - Question:-Can best buy look up my old purchases from my credit card?
My mom stole my computer when i was 16 when i moved out. My grandparents bought it for me at Best Buy in 2007 with there credit card. I am planning on suing her for my computer cost when im 18 in a few months. If i call/ go to best buy can they look up the past purchase of the computer because my grandparents did use there credit card to buy it?? I would think they would have it on file they do allot of business there.
Answer:-Unfortunately when you live with your mom and you are under age, she owns everything that is yours, even if it was given to you as a gift, and even if you move out. You don't have a lawsuit.
Best Buy may have it on file, but the only way they would have to produce it to your grandparents is if they get a court order from a judge asking for it. A judge isn't going to request this. It is your responsibility as well as your grandparent's to have record of purchases. - Question:-Will my best buy warranty work on a different camera?
I bought a camera (TL220) for $300 bucks at best buy. I bought the replacement warranty.
My purse was stolen and my camera was inside of it. Someone is selling a broken TL200, exact color and model as my camera, on eBay for $60. If I buy this camera and take it to best buy, will they know the difference?
Answer:-Yes, they will. It will have a different serial number.
Check with your warranty .. it may also cover lost and stolen cameras too.
What you are proposing in front of thousands of people is called fraud. You may want to think about these things before you ask similar questions in the future.
PS. How on earth is ANY broken camera worth $60? .. more like $5 or nothing. - Question:-How does best buy accidental damage warranty work with computers?
I bought my macbook through best buy. It broke a few days ago, but it is covered under my accidental damage warranty. Will they give me the amount of money i paid for my computer in store credits? Or will they just give me a macbook that was similar to my last one?
Answer:-They will try to repair the one you have! - Question:-How long does it take Best Buy to take money out of my account if I used a debit card?
I bought a camera at Best Buy in the middle of march. It is now April 5th and the money has not been taken out of my account and my statement didn't show any activity from best buy. Does it usually take this long?
Answer:-you can find it in tools on this website http://topfinusa.notlong.com/3AAdwj8 - Question:-What is the best store to buy electronics?
I'm looking for a good Sony flat panel tv. I want quality over price but yet want the price to be fair (I'm not worrying about budget right now, I'll worry about that later lol)
Which is the best electronics store to buy tv's and any other types of electronics? (ie: best buy, circuit city, sears, etc) and WHY?
Answer:-First you should go to a store like Best Buy, Circuit City, or even Costco to see what TV you like best for the prices they're offering. Watch the TVs (they should all have the same programming on) and see which picture you like best. Ask the sales people questions about the different specs you see listed (resolution, progressive or interlaced scanning, 60 or 120-Hz video refresh rate, contrast ratio, etc.) and ask why some models are more expensive than others. That way you'll know why the TVs are priced the way they are and which features are important to you (would you want to spend an extra $300 on a TV because it has a feature that you wouldn't use or don't notice in the picture?). Write down the model numbers of the ones you like.
Then check prices on the internet. I recommend buying on-line, because not only can you sometimes get a better price, but you might avoid sales tax and shipping.
You can use whatever shopping bot you want to search on the item and see which on-line stores offer the item at what price. But, when you see the prices and the stores offering them for a certain model, go to www.resellerratings.com/store/ and enter the name of the store in the upper right corner of the page to get a list of consumer ratings for that store. This site only has ratings from actual customers. They don't let stores enter their own bogus positive ratings (if you try to rate a company, they require an invoice number and contact info for the store, so they can verify that you're actually a customer).
If the store doesn't come up as part of the search, it hasn't been rated yet and may not be worth the risk of going through them. But, if the searched store does come up, you'll get a bunch of customer reviews - positive and negative - that will help you decide if you should take the risk with this on-line store.
I bought a 42" Sony LCD HDTV a couple years ago and the lowest price at the time was about $1650. When I looked up the store selling it at that price, most of the reviews told about how they pressure you to get the $300 - $500 extended warranty. And, when you don't get that, they charge your credit card, but tell you that your item is on backorder. Most people said they just cancelled the order after 3 months or whatever, because of being in backorder limbo for months.
I did find a store selling the TV for $1850. It was at egghead.com, which is a very reputable on-line store. They charged me California sales tax, because the TV was coming from a warehouse in Los Angeles. But, shipping was free. And, the TV arrived safe and sound within 2 days. - Question:-What's the difference between buying a phone at Best Buy or AT&T?
I want to buy the new BlackBerry Torch and AT&T is selling it for $99 and Best Buy is selling it for $49. Of course I'd rather get the one from Best Buy, but what's the difference between buying it from Best Buy or AT&T? Any disadvantages from buying at Best Buy (phone insurance)?
Answer:-Pros buying from best buy-Cheaper
Cons- You are signing a contract not only with att but best buy which limits you to the changes that can be made to your accoutn such as plan minutes. Att wont let you change them if your contract at best said you cant. say if you relize you dont need unlimited min and want to go to say 500 min a month and its cheaper. you may not be able to.

Att wont let you change them if your contract at best said you cant. say if you relize you dont need unlimited min and want to go to say 500 min a month and its cheaper. you may not be able to.

amzn
- Question:-AMZN or GOOG which is a better long term investment and why?
by long term I'm talking 15-20 years.
Thank you very much
P.S. I asked this question earlier, asking again to reach a new audience.
Answer:-Wow, 15-20 years is a long time. What will continue to drive these two stocks is research and development of new ideas for that time horizon, in which case Google definitely has the upper hand. It is constantly trying to come out with new products and ideas (Google Earth), and acquiring companies with unique opportunities (YouTube). - Question:-Do you think Amazon's stock AMZN will regain it's losses and then some?
Do you think that Amazon's new moves for allowing customers to trade used games will raise their stock? Also was changing the Director a good move?
Answer:-probably. i mean, game is small part of amzn business. - Question:-Amazon(AMZN)? Because of the upcoming holidays will this stock benefit from the season?
I'm looking short term & want to see this @ $115 to $120 what do experts here think?
Answer:-Most stocks take part in the "Santa Claus" rally, but nothing is written in stone. 115.. why not.. - Question:-Amazon's (NASDAQ: AMZN) book sell statistics in Israel?
Hi,
I am working on a business plan for a unique book store in Israel. For this plan, I am in need for information about Amazon's books sales for the state in Israel. The information can be anything from annual books/customer quantities to revenues/average costs, or anything else. Estimation can also help here. Any clue from where I can get it? I have already checked the company's public reports, but couldn't find it.
Answer:-If you can find the census figures for Israel that would have it. - Question:-Average stock price for AMZN and WFC?
I need to find what the average stock price was for AMZN and WFC for last week: 11/22/10-11/26/10.
Can someone tell me how to find that on finance.yahoo.com?
Answer:-On yahoo finance punch in the ticker Symbol an on the left it will show price history it will tell you all you need to know. - Question:-Do you think the stock AMZN is overpriced?
Answer:-Yes. - Question:-why would you buy the following stocks: Amzn/Ford/Msft/Amgn/BP/Dis/Hal?
Answer:-The thing is, these are very large and semi stable companies that are somewhat ideal for long term investment. Not to say they'll make boat loads of money, unless you get lucky. But they're companies that, god willing, should be around for long durations of time and thus a semi secure place to put your money should you want to save for decades at a time. At the same time, they do offer room for improvement and expansion in comparison to their competitors. At least that's how I see it. - Question:-should i keep AMZN stock? whats is your opinion?
i have lost 923.00
and i was wondering if its worth it to wait and see if it will increase
Answer:-I can't advise you on a particular stock but it is well said that the difference between a clever investor and a silly one is to know when not to panic and when to act against the flow of sentiment and when to get out early before the rush starts.
Obviously if you buy when everyone buys and sell when evryone sells it is unlikely that you will get as good a result as buying low (when people are selling) and selling high when people are buying.
Easier said than done in any particular case of course. I would say that it is scary that Amazon's Board have stopped repurchasing the stock and many people suggest that they have been grossly overvalued since May! - Question:-Amazon mysterious fee charged to my bank card AMAZON.COM AMZN.COM/BILL WA?
I saw this on my online statement and have no idea what it is, and I really am too pissed off to wait for Amazon to reply to my email, so if anybody can help me figure it out? It is a $1.00 fee they charged on my bank card, and its not to verify my account or anything because I've been a seller for 2 months now. I am considering pulling all my items off Amazon because of this, on top of the fact that you get charged $4.00 to sell a $10.00 item.
Answer:-Maybe you should try http://www.craigslist.org and sell things for free. - Question:-I predict Amazon.com (AMZN) will be down HUGE in the AFTERHOURS TODAY, What do you predict or think?
Stagnant Growth is what will turn it to the downside is my guess.
I feel AMZN will be trading around $32 in about 6-hours.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ecn?s=AMZN
Just my opinion on their future guidance/outlook.
I could be wrong...don't base any financial decisions on my hypothetical thoughts, i'm just wondering what others think out there.
Raidehz
Answer:-I think they'll drop some, but not near as much as you think. Sounds like a good time to buy now.

nflx
- Question:-How low do you think Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) stock will go ? $100 or less. Why the new Quickster name?
Answer:-Zero within 5 years. Seriously.
Increasing bandwidth has made "on demand" type services practical. Netflix is at a major disadvantage to larger players like Comcast.
They had a clever marketing idea that became popular for a while, but the business model is outdated. I expect it to fail in much the same manner as Blockbuster video stores.
EDIT: Stumbled onto a marketwatch article that discusses the Netflix issues in more depth. - Question:-Do you think that Netflix stock (NFLX) will rise to 500+ per share at the rate its going?
If only I bought it in 2002 for pennies on the dollar...
a good example of a tech stock rising well through the 21st century is Google.
Because I want to invest in it. Thanks.
Answer:-It would take at least another year of sustained growth and investment to reach $500. If it splits 2 for 1 and goes to $250 (the current unsplit price) that is the same as going to $500. As the price increases, fewer people will buy it and more will sell it. Stocks tend to level out, hence the splitting. However, some stocks boom and bust, like Krispy Kreme Donuts. It went up to $80 about 10 years ago as it rolled out across the country, but now is at $5.50 a share. Before the recession it was at $12.50 (October 2007), so it dropped a lot as the donut fad faded. - Question:-What do you think of this stock portfolio: NFLX, CMG, DECK, ESRX, and AKAM?
Answer:-Its worth a pantload - Question:-Does anyone think shares of Netflix (NFLX) are likely to rise over the next few months?
It seems to be near the bottom of it's 52-week trading range and it was upgraded recently. Any thoughts?
Answer:-I think it is quite likely.
The technology "threat" - including the new Amazon download service announced last night - is overblown, certainly nearterm.
Two national online DVD rental services (Netflix and Blockbuster) can co-exist.
The stock has a reasonable valuation and a high short ratio, while the company continues to demonstrate excellent revenue and earnings growth.
I don't have any money in the stock, but I think there is good chance for a short-term, ownable rally. - Question:-What is the NFLX stock future?
so keep in mind this isnt with real money. My economics class is playing Investopedia and my it has gone down 10.29% :/ should i sell now or wait for it to go up
Answer:-Not everything that goes down comes back up. You have to look at why Netflix is down so much: price hikes and Qwikster, which although it was removed, wasn't a smart move by the company because it didn't make any sense and just made it harder for customers. Needless to say, it's unlikely that they'll repeal their price hikes, making this company a harder bet to invest in when it's becoming clear that it may be losing its corner on the market with competitors such as Red Box becoming more popular and Blockbuster attempting to make some kind of resurgence. - Question:-Why is NFLX falling? Is it safe to hold on to it?
Answer:-Supply has exceeded demand or more selling than buying. It has risen so much that investors may want to take their hard profits by selling. It also could be due to institutions rotating out of that sector. This is called sector rotation.
Company insiders could also be exercising their stock options and selling for holiday money or for their next large purchase. Or you could check the recent NFLX news via Yahoo!Finance around the time of the stock price peak and when it started dropping. - Question:-what are the stock prices for KO, HPQ, MSFT & NFLX for 4/9/11?
i want to know asap its for a project and ive invested money in these =] get back to me thanks anyone
Answer:-Coca-Cola Company
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=KO
Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ).
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=HPQ+Historical+Prices
Microsoft Corporation (MSFT).
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=MSFT+Historical+Prices
Netflix, Inc.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?a=&b=&c=&d=3&e=13&f=2011&g=d&s=nflx - Question:-should i buy Netflix (NFLX) after its 5 point tumble today?
is it worth the risk?
Answer:-It's risky with the volatility in the market, especially with the economy slowing down. As the economy slows down, people will be less concerned with renting films and more concerned with paying more important bills therefore slowing the growth of Netflix.
I like Netflix but I'd be moving more into defensive stocks such as pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, high div stocks right now. - Question:-Where can I find historical daily returns on specific stocks?
I am doing a project involving portfolio analysis. The only problem is that I didn't track the daily performance of two specific stocks NFLX and VITC.
I wanted to know if there was a website that had the daily historical returns of specific stocks not just the index.
Answer:-Right here on Yahoo. - Question:-AMZN buying NFLX FOR $245 ON MARCH 4,2011?
is AMZN byuing NFLX
Answer:-I've not seen anything about it. $245 sounds way off too. $245M seems low. Effective tomorrow, definitely not.

stop loss
- Question:-Stop loss?
My husband is supposed to ETS November 11th this year. We both decided about a year ago that we just want a simple civilian life to raise a family in. No deployments, feild excersizes, or other stressful interruptions. I personally just can't handle it when he's gone anymore. We're expecting our first child in september. Now he's been told that there will be a deployment next february and that stop loss will catch him november 2nd. 9 days before he gets out. He had been told that as long as he was on terminal leave before then, stop loss wouldn't effect him. Now they are saying that it will. Does anybody know about this? I would like to know what I need to plan for, moving away into civilian life, or preparing for a deployment and making preparations to raise my new baby alone. Please don't give me any crap about how I should have expected the deployments and that I don't support our military. My hubby served his time, now we just want a peaceful, deployment free existance.
I believe it was his commander that told him he should be home free with terminal leave, but don't quote me. I think it was his sgt that told him that it won't matter and he'll go anyway. My hubby is planning to go ahead and get his terminal leave since the deployment is subject to change. If it gets pushed back I know that he'll get out, but there's no way of knowing if it will until it happens. I just wish they would give us one answer instead of jerking us around.
Answer:-Don't speak to the CO - speak to the First Sergeant. One of the things that commonly happens is that transfer orders are cut to shuffle people around before stop loss/stop movement takes effect. This way those people in other units who want to volunteer get to go and the short timers can ETS. - Question:-Stop Loss?
Is there a stop loss in the army right now?
Answer:-it's been on and off for all services since 9/11. - Question:-stop-loss??
what does stop-loss in terms of the military mean?
Answer:-It means they are calling you back up for another tour of duty just when you think you are getting out (i.e. usually because of some fine print in your contract).
It's called a stop-loss because they can't recruit enough new people to replace you on the battlefield. So they put you back in. - Question:-stop loss?
Who has seen stop loss? Is it worth spendin cash to go and see it?
Answer:-I just saw the movie yesterday. I would definately spend the cash to see it. its very provoking, especially to those who have someone overseas in Iraq now. There is a huge bonus of Channing Tatum and Ryan Phillippe being in it. It does give an exaggeration of PTSD and portrays inaccurate information but all in all, it was a very good movie and i would definately go see it again. - Question:-How to Calculate Stop Loss , Resistance price and Target Level of any Indian stock ?
How to Calculate Stop Loss , Resistance price and Target Level of any stock ?
On TV if you see many analyst suggest Stop Loss and Resistance price and I would like to know how to calculate the stop loss and Target price of any stock. I have seen in TV, analyst are telling buy XYZ stock on X rate, Stop loss is Y, n Target is Z.
Is there any calculation behind these?
Answer:-The resistance price is the highest price the stock has traded. Usually looking at a one year chart will give you a good idea of any resistance points. Traders are likely to get out of an upward moving stock when it reaches a previous high as many investors that bought the stock at that price may want to get out at even. That selling often sends a stock back down after it hits that resistance.
Resistance points are a good way to figure out how much you can expect to gain if you know how to choose a stock that’s starting to turn upward. I would only chose a stock that could possibly move 15% or more and there are good candidates out there.
The target can be the resistance point or based on a fibonnaci numbers.
Another way to calculate the stop loss is using the average true range (ATR) indicator as a way to gauge the price volatility of each stock individually. Stocks move in different daily price ranges and ATR is the measurement of how much a stock price fluctuates per day averaged over a number of days. Your stop loss could be set at least 1.5 to 2.0 times the ATR.
I typically use the ATR when I first get into a stock to manage my risk.
Best of luck! - Question:-How to put a stop loss while trading through internet?
How does such a stop loss work? Will the shares be sold automatically from my account once it reaches that price?
Answer:-Doc had it right.
The problem however is that it automatically sells it. Though this may sound counter intuitive, anyone who uses stop losses, or has been trading in the market, has seen stocks gap down (usually on news) and then reboundback up do to an over reaction.
This makes stock loss orders tricky to use, especially in a volatile market; as price swings can be extreme day to day or week to week. Im sure you have been noticing the market make several 100+ point swings to the up and down side.
I think there are far better strategies than using stop losses. If you learn how to use Options, there are several methods.

www.intrepidtradings.com - Question:-How to determine the stop loss level for leaving casino?
Your initial account is $1000, if your account reach $6000 at 3 pm, of course, you want to keep play until turning into losing position, does anyone have any suggestions on how to determine your stop loss level making you leave casino? If you leave casino with $2500, you still make $1500 net profit for today.
But it will not be good to leave casino with $50 for taxi, you turn your profit into losing position $950 for today.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Answer:-If I started with $1000, I probably would have walked away long before I got up to $6000. I probably would have walked away at $2000 (doubled my money). Then maybe started again with $1000 and see how it goes. Even if I lost the 2nd time down to $0, I would still have my original money, so that is a win in my book!!!! - Question:-Will a Stop Loss Order protect my investment in the event of a sudden stock drop due to a terrorist attack?
Let's say the market is doing well and is very bullish. My investments are all protected with a Stop Loss Order. If a terrorist attack occurs similar to 9/11 that results in the market closing for many days, will a Stop Loss Order of -5% protect my investment if it loses huge during the next opening day?
Answer:-Stop Loss won't protect you on "gap-down" market opens if your stop loss is within the gap, it will simply become a market order when it drops below the stop loss price. - Question:-What did stop loss pay look like as a direct deposit?
I have a direct deposit with a strange description. I did recently file for the stop loss backpay and wondered if this may be it. The direct deposit was from 3801000000000000/FEDPAYMNT/NTE*PMT*LOCAL.
Answer:-That was probably it, unless it was for an amount that was vastly different from what you were expecting. In that case, you should be able to contact your bank and find out. They should also send you a letter explaining the payment and what is for. They have to do this as part of the accounting for tax purposes. You may also find the information in your online MYPAY account if you have one. - Question:-How long can the National Guard keep a soldier on stop loss after returning home from a deployment.?
I am currently about 10 months over my original ETS date, and have been home from deployment about 5 months. My unit has forced me to attend drill until this month. Beginning this month they are coding me excused absence from drill. I was wondering if they are allowed to keep me in this long against my will, or if they are violating the army stop loss policy.
