vince young

  • Question:-Vince Young?
How good do you think vince young will be in the 07-08 season, and do you think we would be a good fantasy selection?

Answer:-VY is a champion, a true player pure and simple. He has assumed the leadership role on a very young team that has experienced some offseason issues ranging from PacMan's problems to Lendale wanting to play lineman. hahahahhahahhaha Well he did shoot up to 260 something lbs. Young is tough. He is a hardworker and has taken all of the issues this year with great stride. Losing Drew Bennett and other recievers certainly didn't do anything to improve the situation in Nashville. I am hoping he can develop a chemistry with who he has. There are still some pretty talented young guys on this Titan's team like Ben Troupe at TE, recently acquired reciever Justin Gage (whom played with a similar style qb at Mizzou), and veteran David Givens has the oppurtunity to be a star. Win a trophy with another franchise.

Defense should be better. Kyle Vanden Bosch is a monster and big Haynesworth won't be missing too many games this year, God willing. Nick Harper from the Colts may be just what the doctor ordered in these rough times without PacMan. Also, hopefully, Michael Griffin could pan out. Though he has a lot to prove he was worth that first round draft choice.

I don't think the Titans and Vince will just flounder. I believe the team will struggle. They play in a divison with the Colts and Jaguars. I think these rough years though is what will make the Titans a force to reckon with in the future. Vince will be able to build chemistry this year with a lot of younger guys as eager to win as he is.
  • Question:-vince young?
what exactly happened to vince young? i know it was a quad injury...anyone see it, was it bad....and i know the madden curse, but thats not the answer i want, described what happened please

Answer:-He got knocked out of bounds. It really wasn't anything you could see. Leg muscle injuries are funny. Sometimes you can play with them. Sometimes you miss a couple of games. Sometimes it will affect you until next season.
  • Question:-How long will it take for Vince Young to win a superbowl?
Maybe if the titans would have started Vince Young early in the season the Titans might have made playoffs this year. I don't think they would have gone this year though.

    Answer:-Vince Young to the SuperBowl.

It is a possiblity. I believe it will take at least 2 more full seasons. First he will need some playoff expereince. Also in two years he can become comfortable with the offensive playbook as well as become better at reading coverages.

And finally this will all be dependent on the owner/coaches personal decisions. Good players, Good coaches, equals good team.
  • Question:-How much can a officially signed Vince Young football be sold for?
I have a official Vince Young football signed by him and i want to sell it and see how much i get out of it.

Answer:-Name a price. If nobody wants it you asked too much.
  • Question:-What do you think of the possibility of Vince Young going to the Arizona Cardinals?
What do you think of the possibility of Vince Young going to the Arizona Cardinals? Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston need a good QB, and I believe Vince is that guy.

Answer:-I believe there's a pretty good chance. He won't be too expensive like McNabb, and I bet the Cardinals will be looking for just about anything. Young has had some success and deserves the full confidence of an organization to go out and play 16 regular season games (if healthy of course) before he is written off. The Cardinals are definitely in a position to give him that opportunity.
  • Question:-Vince young.?
Vince is tough but will he come back. i know he will but what do you think.

Answer:-Yeah i know he will, and every QB in the NFL has a green dot on the back of there helmet.
  • Question:-If you had Alex Smith and Vince Young, who would you start in week 1?
Vince Young plays against the Jags defense and Alex Smith plays the Cards, who would you play for that game only?

Answer:-Dude, I have this exact same QB situation and drafted on purpose that way. I plan on platooning them all season this way. It is hands down Smith against Cards in week 1.

    wk 2 = smith
    wk 3 = young
    wk 4 = smith
    wk 5, 6, 7 = young
wk 8 = toss up, whoever is better at this point
    wk 9 - 12 = Smith
    week 13 = young
    week 14 = young
    week 15 = toss up
    week 16 = smith

there, you got the whole season matched. What is awesome is the tough defense and soft defenses line up perfectly. What is bad, well Young has no weapons around him so I hoping he can play well against the soft defenses.

    Good luck.
  • Question:-Should i start joe flacco or vince young?
I have been starting joe flacco but he has not been delivering. I am thinking of starting vince young because he is projected to score more and he is playing the Giants which did pretty bad in defense last week?
    Any Help?

    Answer:-vince young for sure
  • Question:-When will Vince Young start for the Titans?
Tennesee Titans is winless this season, I think they should bench aging Kerry Collins, because I think Vince Young can led the Titans to wins.

Answer:-Well, owner, Bud Adams has made it known that he wants Vince Young playing, now.
  • Question:-Can I drop Vince Young and pick Jay cutler?
Can I drop Vince Young and pick Jay cutler for the rest of the season?

I have Matt Schab and Brian Griese in my roster.

Who do I start for week5? Matt Schab or pick Jay Culter and use him?

Answer:-I think you should start Vince against banged up Atalanta. Cutler is going against SD Def. Add/drop Cutler for Vince after the game.

tanuki

  • Question:-What is the diffrence between a tanuki and a raccoon?
So far the only difference between tanuki and raccoon that i know of is that tanukis are from Japan and raccoons from America. Is there a bigger diffrence then that?

Answer:-'Tanuki' is the Japanese word for the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides). This is a member of the dog family, Canidae, which is found in Eurasia. It is a completely different animal to the raccoon (Procyon lotor) of North America, which is a member of the family Procyonidae. It resembles the raccoon in shape and colour, hence its name, but the two are not related beyond both belonging to the order Carnivora. Here are some images:

  • Question:-What is the origin to the Japanese mythology about Tanuki testicals?
Where does it come from? They say all myths are based off of some small truth.

    Answer:-Japan
  • Question:-Is there a pokemon based on a badger or a tanuki?
I've been sucked back into the fandom by a friend, but I missed the generation III pokes (or maybe I missed an older one). I know there are plenty of poke fans out there! ;) Can one of you answer? Thanks ♥

Answer:-Also they said that the Pokemon Typhlosion is possibly based on a badger/wolverine...
Zigzagoon can be possibly based on the tanuki
Linoone can possible be based on a Wiesel/badger
  • Question:-do they teach stealth and cloaking techniques as well as fighting at the Tanuki Bujinkan Dojo in New Jersey?
Is this the true art of the ninja or just fighting techniques?

Answer:-Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is the true art of Ninjutsu. You will learn all of the techniques of the Ninjas including stealth.
  • Question:-Where can I go to see wild Tanuki in Japan?

the native japanese raccoon is the tanuki.. i see lots of pics but where do i find them!!

Answer:-Tanuki are furtive and nocturnal-I have come across kamoshika and plenty of monkeys while hiking in Japan, but never a tanuki. It's not as if they are rare, they are out there but you just don't see them. If you really want to see one the best approach would likely be to set up a "stake-out" overnight near a garbage can or wherever else humans would be likely to leave something edible they could grab. I imagine they are crazy about salt just like raccoons so they are likely to seek out chip bags and the like . My guess is Chichubu would be crawling with them.
  • Question:-Can anyone tell me about Inari Kitsune or Tanuki or Neko? Are they all shapeshifters?
I read a little about Inari foxes on Wiki but I'm wondering if you have anything else to tell me. Was there any special kitsune? Do all neko shapeshift or just the very old ones? Can racoons shapeshift?

Answer:-I'm pagan, and one of my primary dieties is (are?) kitsune. Most that are devoted to them simply refer to them as kitsune, which I believe simply means "fox".

Kitsune are servants of the rice-god Inari, and are typically mild-mannered or unthreatening, due to whom they're serving. Their counterparts, called nogitsune, are the "wild" foxes, sort of free agents, and cause mischief and mayhem, sometimes harmless pranks and sometimes much more serious. If you've ever heard the term foxfire (or, more likely, the internet browser firefox), in japanese it is called kitsune-bi, a globe of white or blue light under the control of a nogitsune, often used to lure travellers to their doom on dark nights. Some say if you can catch a nogitsune's kitsune-bi, it will grant you a wish to get it back.

Kitsune can shapeshift into anything they wish, but most tales have them turning into incredibly attractive men and women (who usually go on to seduce someone) that sometimes have their true nature revealed accidently by way of a shadow or reflection that shows a fox body, or a tail or tails sticking out of their clothing. Kitsune have also been known to be succubi or incubi (female or male form, respectively) - sensual vampires known for stealing life-force through sex with their victims.

The number of tails a kitsune has denotes its age, from one up to nine, which, depending on what account you're reading, means they are 1,000 years old or immortal. When a kitsune has nine tails, the fur is usually white, too.

As far as noteworthy kitsunes go, check out Neil Gaiman's Sandman series for a more recent mention, or do a google search on the name tamano-no-mae.
  • Question:-Can I get a tanuki in the USA, if possible, and is it legal?
I am looking to purchase a tanuki, is it possible to obtain one in the USA, preferably the New England region. If yes, how much is the average price, and is it legal to get one in PA (considering PA's ridiculous exotic pet laws).
Also, if you don't know what a tanuki is, don't answer. Also, don't answer a part of the question that you don't know, I don't mean to be rude, but I've gotten a lot of vague answers for that very reason on my previous questions.

Answer:-I am pretty certain tanukis aren't available in the US as pets. The only way this may happen is if they are smuggled in as labeled 'normal dogs' and bred in the US. But even that would be illegal.

Apparently they adapt well as pets. However being a wild animal (even if born in captivity) they will not have the traits of a domestic dog (which are bred for living with humans). People can keep them as pets in Asia and Europe.
They rarely hibernate in captivity although their appetite will decrease in winter and they will be more lethargic.
  • Question:-what is the difference between Raccoon dog, Raccoon, and Tanuki?

This is supposed to be TANUKI. But what does it say ? hehehe.
    http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%BF%E3%83%8C%E3%82%AD

Answer:-It seems like Tanuki is the Japanese name for raccoon dog, so they are the same thing, and a raccoon is a bit different
here's that site you have in English
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tanuki

  • Question:-Can Tanuki Fly in Japanese Mythology?
    In so, what story?

    Don't ask why I need to know. It's a bet. :)

And I know they have magical powers, but I need a specific example of them flying. Thanks!

    Answer:-No, its a type of raccoon-dog

  • Question:-Is tanuki jiru available in the us?
    I want to try it.

Answer:-Tanukijiru(たぬき汁)does not mean literally Raccoon soup although it was originally made with its meat centuries ago but for long time now instead of Raccoon, Konnyaku(made of devil's tongue bulb) is used.
Only if you can get Konnyaku locally, you can make tanuki jiru yourself without much hassle.

aesop rock

  • Question:-Mtv and Aesop rock what do you think?
So The publicity for Atmosphere and Aesop rock on mtv.Sure it's good publicity but is it even close to selling out and what about the new fans?

Answer:-It is only selling out if they water down there music to get the airplay. which I don't see happening. 7-8 years ago both were huge on college campuses so as there fans graduated I'm sure some of them went on to get jobs in the radio and TV industry. Time went by and they moved up into decision making positions they probably thought the guys could do well on the networks. Atmosphere might but I think Aesop is way to out there and intelligent for 90% of mainstream fans. I had some friends that got a video on Mtv back in like 99-2000 they aired it a few times but that was it, if it i doesn't blow up immediately they drop your @ss. If I see either of them do a song with Justin Timberlake they are dead to me
  • Question:-what song does aesop rock spit several verses on top of eachother?
Aesop Rock, Rap, Hip Hop, Lyrics, Songs

Answer:-Idk, but if you mean what I think you do, that sounds pretty badazz in my head.
  • Question:-Do you think Aesop Rock is actually trying to say anything in his songs?
I want to believe he's got a coherent message in every song, and sometimes I think he hints at it...but most of the time they make no sense whatsoever. What do you think, do Aesop's lyrics actually mean anything, or are they just a bombastic mess of random words he strung together?

Answer:-nah they def. have meaning. look at none shall pass.
"you never had a day a snowcone couldn't fix"
its actually one of his most simple lines, but what is a snowcone besides a simple concoction of sugar and ice? so if you never had a day a snowcone couldn't fix, you never had a tough day.
most of his lines just take a long a*s time to get
  • Question:-What do you think of Aesop Rock?
What do you think of the emcee Aesop Rock, and what are some of your favorite songs by him?

Answer:-A more abstract version of MF DOOM with a much better flow.
  • Question:-Which Aesop Rock album do you most reccomend?
I got a few of his mp3s from limewire and daytrotter and I want to buy an album. I love No Regrets, Citronella, and 1000 Deaths, just saying.

Answer:-i love float cuz of the blues influence it seems to have. labor days is probably his best album with the most searing messages.
bazooka tooth has a science fiction feel to it, like it would be a soundtrack to a 1950's B movie. none shall pass was a lot more storytelling and it made me see Aesop as one of those hobo's with a bunch of crazy stories.

But I'd recommend Float and Labor Days the most
  • Question:-Where can I get the Aesop Rock album Appleseed?
I can't find it any where online!
    I want to buy it.
    BUY IT
I've looked every where for it.

    Answer:-
  • Question:-What's the Aesop Rock song with the woman singing in the background; a bit like vikings are going to battle?
A bit like the opera singer woman-alien in the Fifth Element before she goes all synthesizer on us.

Answer:-I want to know that too and don't know the lyrics because I don't have the song which is why I'm on this. Hopefully someone answers the question instead of telling us something we already know...

  • Question:-Does anyone else think that tons of Aesop Rock and MF Doom is just plain gibberish?
I like some of the stuff they make but too much of it is nonsensical gibberish. Same thing with Cam-Ron and some of Ghostface. Thoughts?
