mike mcqueary
- Question:-What did Mike McQueary do when he saw the child abuse?
I am a little confused regarding the Penn State story. Mike McQueary allegedly walked in on a child rape. Did he stop it or did he just walk and left the child alone with out Sandusky? And why didn't he call the police or took the child to it's parents. It is very disturbing to me to think that the child thought it was safe when he walked in but didn't get help. Thank you for clarifying.
Most important question. Did he stop the abuse or did he just walk out?
Answer:- - Question:-Should Mike McQueary go to jail for not notifying police of the Penn State child rape?
McQueary saw it all firsthand. A 10 year old boy was getting butt-drilled in the shower by Sandusky.
McQeary told a football coach (Paterno) and his father about the incident but said nothing at all to the police. Shouldn't there be a law against that type of silence? What the f__k was he thinking?
First Responder: Where'd you look it up? Can I get the link?
Answer:- - Question:-Penn State is going to fire Mike McQueary but not until after National LOI Signing Day, agree?
McQueary is their chief recruiter. They're trying to hold onto their recruits/commits.
Answer:- - Question:-Why has Penn State not fired Mike McQueary?
He will be coaching this Saturday and that is the biggest crock of bullchit! He was an adult when he witnessed a crime being committed against a child. Instead of immediately calling the police he called his father?? He waited a day to even call Paterno! He could have ended this whole situation THAT NIGHT by calling 911 and NOT leaving a child in the clutches if a monster!
This fool is MORE TO BLAME than Paterno! Why is he still employed by Penn state?
Answer:- - Question:-True or False, the only honorable thing Mike McQueary could do now would be to kill himself?
Answer:- - Question:-why was paterno fired but Mike McQueary wasnt?
Answer:- - Question:-Will Mike McQueary show up at Saturday's game?
Answer:- - Question:-Why hasn't Mike Mcqueary been fired?
I understand why Joe Pa was let go but this guy walked in on a child being raped and did nothing.
Answer:- - Question:-Will Mike McQueary be fired too?
We need help on our WR coaching staff
Answer:-He didn't even try to stop that monster Sandusky from raping a child. He needs to go. - Question:-Why does Mike McQueary still have a job and Joe Paterno does not?
This man DISCOVERED the perp raping a boy in the showers. Instead of calling 911 on the scene he called his father and waited a day to even report it to Paterno! He should have been the FIRST one to do something about this whole situation. He should have never left the child, he should have stayed and called the police. He should have been the first one to DO SOMETHING!
Why does this fool still have a job yet the media, public, and University make Joe Pa the sole fall guy?
The higher ups don't have a job still and rightfully so. McQueary, as far as I know, is still coaching on Saturday. That is BULLSH-IT!

- Question:-How long does it take to drive from Flint Michigan To Sandusky Ohio?
I'm going to Sandusky for Cedar point June 10th, and i was just wondering how long it takes to get there. Please help?
Answer:-it is 165 to 175 miles from flint, michigan to sandusky, ohio. travel time would be around three hours - Question:-How old do you have to be to reserve a room in Sandusky, OH?
My friends and I would like to reserve a hotel in Sandusky, OH. We want to go to Cedar Point one day, stay the night, and then do other things around Sandusky the next day before heading home. We're all 18 except one of my friends is 17. Can we reserve a room still, or do we have to have a parent do it for us?
Answer:-Check hotels website policy but the industry standard is 18 years old to check in and a valid credit card usually must be on file for incidentals. - Question:-What are some good attractions in Sandusky Ohio other than Cedar Point?
We are going to take a vacation to Sandusky. We know we want to go to Cedar Point. But we want to do other things. What are some good attractions? There will be three adults, 28, 54, and 60. And two children, 9, and 10.
Answer:-There are 4 waterparks in Sandusky the oldest one is the Great Wolf lodge located near Meijer. Then there is Kalahari waterpark which is the biggest one in Sandusky. but if you are lookin for a great time at a low price there is Castaway Bay and Maui Sands which just opened a month ago. The Skateworld is also fun which is located on Milan rd in Sandusky. At the Sandusky mall there is an arcade if you want to do some shopping while the kids are at the arcade. - Question:-How long does it take to go through the haunted houses at Ghostly Manor in Sandusky, Ohio?
How much would you put aside to see the stuff at Ghostly Manor in Sandusky, ohio? thinking about going the Sunday night before labor day.
Answer:-http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g50940-d530745-Reviews-Ghostly_Manor_Thrill_Center-Sandusky_Ohio.html - Question:-Why is everybody coming down on Joe Paterno more than Sandusky who committed the crime itself?
Seriously, if it was anybody other than Joe, an average coach who nobody knew, ESPN wouldn't spend nearly as much time covering the story as they are now. Everything is being made about Paterno and not the kids or Sandusky. Isn't that the pressing issue? Joe wasn't the ONLY one who *could* have done more morally...
Answer:-It is a moral outrage! Joe did everything he needed to do legally and still Penn St. screws him over. Fu*k Penn St., fu*k all the haters who say Joe is rapist or he could have done more. Screw them all!
Sure Joe could have done more, but what about the guy who witnessed the act. You all are a disgrace. - Question:-why are people placing the blame on joe pa instead of sandusky, the one who commited the crime?
now i know both of them technically commited a crime, but who was the main culprit? sandusky. yes, joe pa should have told authorities but mcqueary should have done the same thing. i'm not saying paterno is innocent, but no one is blaming sandusky. want proof, flip through the pages of this section. all questions about this incident are about paterno, but not sandusky. both of them should get their fair share of blame.
Answer:- - Question:-Whats the cheapest hotel that I can get in sandusky near the Colossalcon event?

Ok what I need to know is how long it takes to get the sandusky from bellbrook ohio. I also need to know what is the cheapest room at a hotel/motel that I can get in sandusky and near Kalahari Resort and Convention Center.
Answer:-there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://bookme.com/hotels.php and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. - Question:-Would of any other college fired Joe Paterno already?
2 national championships in 40+ years that's not that great. if he coached at a university in florida or Cali or some other big college's I think he would of been fired year's ago. is Penn State scared to fire him? what if he goes 0-12?
Answer:-This isn't the SEC, College Football in the North isn't the same as Florida. Sure Alumni will threaten to withhold money, and may even throw a few less bucks that way, but in the South they would stop giving money to the school. - Question:-Is there anyway Joe Paterno could be fired?
Or are they going to have to pry his clipboard from his cold dead hands.
Answer:-Joe Pa is the one coach in college football who will decide his own fate... even Bobby Bowden couldn't do that! - Question:-Why was joe Paterno fired?
My husband is all upset about this, but I'm curious about the details. so, a few years back, the other coach guy did what to a kid how young in the shower? I read that Paterno DID report it to the athletic director- why should he have done more? how old was the kid? was he raped? and WTF does that have to do w these other kids getting molested? Paterno didn't do that. I feel bad for the kids and wish that more had been done the first time, but it sounds like paterno DID report it. Thanks
Yeah, I've been looking into it. The story my husband told me was that sandusky and a COLLEGE student were in the locker and the boy said he was raped. (which regardless of age is still horrible, but at that age an18-22 year old is old enough to actually decide to press charges and protect himself from the rapist) So now that I found out it was a ten year old from some charity event, it makes me sick. that should have def been reported to authorities right away by everyone with an inkling of it. I'm glad he got fired- ewww, even found out that Sandusky has a book out called "Touched". ewww. I told me husband the details, but he was still like, "But it's JOE". arrghhhh...
Answer:- - Question:-Joe Paterno really fired or retiring?
What is really going on?
Answer:-Retiring - Question:-Do you think Joe Paterno deserved to be fired?
I know this is more of a sports section question but it's also political as well to an extent.
Do you feel sorry for the 84 year old respected coach or not?
Answer:- - Question:-Will Chairman Obama be just as pissed off as Joe Paterno is for a SEX Scandal Firing when he is Fired?
With the worst Economic Criminal Record of any President, Chairman Obama will be going DOWN, just like Joe Paterno did has and won't.
Answer:- - Question:-Joe Paterno was fired. Are liberals happy that they have destroyed yet another great man?
Answer:- - Question:-Why is Joe Paterno being punished for fulfilling his legal obligations and expected protocol at Penn State?
He did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do when he heard about Sandusky. To the T.
Penn State's guidelines said to report it to the athletic director. Paterno did that.
It's the athletic director who then failed to perform HIS duties.
Why is the legendary coach Joe Paterno being fired?
Answer:-It's all about protecting the Penn State brand. McQueary witnessed the assault and reported it to Paterno but McQueary didn't call the police and still has his job. Paterno didn't witness the assault so he forwarded the report. It was the college administration that decided to hush it up...to protect the Penn State brand.
If they had fired McQueary people would have said, "Who?" So they fired Paterno as a useless declaration that they were "tough on child abuse." It's Paterno's superiors who dropped the ball, not Paterno, and they're now facing charges. Paterno was sacrificed to protect the system from public opinion. No child is safer as a result of Paterno's firing but it gave the ignorant mob a body to lynch. It's all about the brand. Just try selling shirts with any college's name on without a contract and you'll see how serious they all are about protecting their brand.
If you think it's so easy to go outside the chain of command in an education hierarchy, here's an example. An elementary teacher noticed suspicious bruises on one of her students and reported it to the administration on more than one occasion. One day the boy came in and had bruises on his back and legs (from being hit with a broom handle) so she called the police herself. The administration came down on her like a ton of bricks and threatened her job. She was told, "Don't you have any compassion for a sick adult?!" Laws (passed several years later) requiring teachers to report suspected abuse aren't there to force teachers to act as much as to protect them from the administration if they do.
You're right; Paterno did EXACTLY what he was supposed to do. If he had witnessed the assault himself he would have been justified in calling the police. McQueary DID witness it and didn't call the police. - Question:-Did y'all know that Penn State just fired Joe Paterno?
It's true.
Answer:- - Question:-Why hasn't Joe Paterno been fired and arrested?
His assistant coach and a janitor told him the gay pedophile ex-coach was buttraping a 10 year old in the PSU showers and he did the bare minimum which was tell the school official when he should have gone to the police!
Because of his inaction and "passing the buck", 20 more kids were buttraped by his best friend!!!!!
SHAME ON YOU JOE "PEDOPHILE" PATERNO!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Question:-did graham spanier, when serving as nebraska university chancellor, ask tom osbourne to retire from coaching?
graham spanier, the current president of penn state university, served as nebraska's chancellor during the late 80s and early 90s. tom osbourne was the coach of the nebraska cornhusker football team for four decades. osbourne retired in 1997. osbourne has since become a state senator and has run for govenor.
Answer:-yes he did. - Question:-Has Penn State (Graham Spanier and Tim Curley) lost it's mind or it's Sack?
Penn State had a great year! However they have underachieved for 2 decades. Why reward Joepa with a contract? It's crazy watching Ohio State recruit the best players in Pa.
Answer:-Joe Pa is college football. The NFL loves Joe Pa because he turns out players and quality people. Not all have been great, but those that make it play a long time. He may be a better coach today than he was 10 years ago. One thing he has taught us all, is football is fundamentals, execution and teamwork. Qualities you will not get out of many programs. - Question:-Joe Paterno will be forced to retire NOW and not coach Saturday?
According to the local news here in Philly Graham Spanier has resigned and now Paterno will not finish out the season. How will you remember Paterno 10 years from now? I think what he is at this moment is how I will remember him.

Incident at PSU: Apologies, skepticism
By Eric Heyl
PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Sunday, November 21, 2010
Some people doubted the appalling incident occurred.
Others were shocked and upset that it did.
There was no shortage of reaction to last Sunday's column about an interracial couple from Greensburg who were harassed at a recent Penn State University football game.
Retired Marines Linda Baker, 45, who is white, and husband, Bobby Baker, 44, who is black, repeatedly endured racist taunts from some Beaver Stadium fans and left the game early. The N-word figured prominently in the insults people hurled at them.
The Bakers' story brought to my e-mail inbox anticipated reaction from the lunatic fringe of Penn State followers. A contingent of fans evidently believes the Bakers are the driving force behind a sinister worldwide conspiracy to disparage the beloved Nittany Lions.
Several accused the Bakers of fabricating or exaggerating their story.
"That sort of unprovoked effluvia might happen at a Steeler game, but I doubt it from a PSU crowd," one alum wrote. "(This) just doesn't ring right with me. I don't think (the Bakers are) telling the entire scenario."
Wrote another: "I find it difficult to believe that the Bakers' experience at Penn State was racially charged from start to finish. Sure does sound to me like the race card, but we disagree on the party playing it."
So let's see. Two military veterans who moved to Western Pennsylvania to care for ailing parents have nothing better to do with their time than to report a detailed account of racial harassment to university officials.
The e-mails from the maniacal thankfully were countered by a number of conciliatory communiques.
"I sincerely apologize for my fellow alumni and future alumni for acting in this immature and racist fashion," one fan wrote. "True Blue-and-White fans would welcome (the Bakers') company."
A season ticketholder stated he was "appalled, shocked and embarrassed" over the taunting.
"I doubt (the Bakers) would consider ever visiting Penn State again," he wrote. "But if they would, our group would be happy to entertain them at our tailgate, and ensure that they are seated with people who will not allow a repeat of their first experience."
Those messages touched the Bakers, as did letters from Penn State President Graham Spanier and legendary football Coach Joe Paterno.
"Both my husband and I are extremely grateful for the apologetic and understanding responses that we received from so many from Penn State," Linda Baker said. "We don't think that everyone from PSU or State College is racist. Although the comments were many, we know that the majority (of fans) were there to enjoy the game like we were."
That doesn't mean the Bakers plan to make a downpayment on Nittany Lion season tickets.
"But I'm beginning to soften my stance about PSU and State College," Linda Baker said. "How could I not, especially after so many people have reached out to us in a genuinely concerned and caring manner?"

Answer:-You are stretching it a bit, aren't you? There is no proof it hap[pened and there is nothing that says the people involved if it did happen were republicans. It would be like saying that the democrats supported the actions of a group of black kids beating a white couple while shouting "it's a black world", which did happen by the way.

- Question:-Hugh Heffner and Joe Paterno are about the same age, but who played the more important role in history?
Hugh Heffer established the adult industry. Joe Paterno established college football where it is today. Twenty years from now, who would you look back to and say had a bigger role in our history.
Answer:-hef of course
mark k - Question:-Is this proof Joe Paterno is the classiest act in college football?
All his players are devoid of talent, therefore they couldn't possibly be paid. Ergo Joe Paterno doesn't pay players. Class act.
Answer:-Todd Blackledge was good. - Question:-How will this scandal affect the legacy of Joe Paterno?
How will he be remembered? Michael Vick can win a super bowl, and he will be remembered as a dogfighter first, SB winning QB second. John Calipari will be remembered for the NCAA violations everywhere he went. Even John Wooden has the cloud over him of some issues, but he's actually remembered as a coach first.
For 45 years, Paterno's seemed like the nicest guy in the coaching fraternity. But he covered up child molestation, which is completely inexcusable. Will this ruin our memories of kind ol' Joe Pa forever?
Answer:- - Question:-Should Joe Paterno retire after this season?
I am a huge Penn State fan and I am planning on going to college there, but I think Joe Pa should retire. He is too old to be coaching and he obviously has just lost the touch. He has so much talent on that team and he is basically just wasting it. Luckily, Austin Scott got kicked off the team, or Evan Royster would have never gotten a chance to play this year. Don't get me wrong Joe Paterno was a great coach but he should hand the job over to someone else!
Answer:-If he wants to, that man has earned the right to choose how and when he leaves. - Question:-Does anyone know where I can find the video of Joe Paterno chasing down Dick Honig?
It's a shame that video footage of football is hard to come by but I've been searching the internet to no avail for the 2002 Penn State Iowa game where Joe Paterno chases down Dick Honig. Does anyone know where to find this and or other great college football clips?
Answer:-In 1002? There wasn't any video back then. But there was Joe! - Question:-Why is Joe Paterno catching all the heat for what Jerry Sandusky did?
Joe Paterno was told about the sexual assault allegations and reported them to his superior the athletic director. So why is Joe Paterno at fault??? And not one Jerry Sandusky or two the athletic director for not acting??
Answer:-The big cheeses at PSU have been trying for years to get him out. He's been there so long he has become an institution, and it has been near impossible to put himout to pasture. Now they finally have a reason that they can justify. - Question:-Would it be fair for Penn State to remove Joe Paterno if the guy charged is convicted?
Would it be fair for Joe Paterno to be kicked out of the door if he really was not aware what took place.
Answer:-If they have proof that he had prior knowledge, he just might get the 'early retirement' treatment. - Question:-Will Chairman Obama be just as pissed off as Joe Paterno is for a SEX Scandal Firing when he is Fired?
With the worst Economic Criminal Record of any President, Chairman Obama will be going DOWN, just like Joe Paterno did has and won't.
Answer:- - Question:-Do you think these charges will affect Joe Paterno's legacy?
Do you think the charges of child sexual abuse on Joe Paterno's defensive coordinator and the fact that he didn't alert authorities and only his boss is enough to ruin his legacy as one of the greatest coaches of college football? Maybe even all of professional football?
I for one am still a huge Joe Paterno fan and hope something happens to allow him to stay coach, but that's just me. So what do you think? Is he still one of the best coaches despite this?
Answer:- - Question:-How many career championships has Joe Paterno won?
How many career Division 1 championships has Joe Paterno won?
Answer:-He has won 2 National Championships and has had 4 Unbeaten -Untied teams.

Look at the top teams in college football, look at their coaches and their energy level, then look at that old geezer Paterno. Now ask yourself if it is any wonder Penn State struggles.
Answer:-When he dies probably - Question:-Do those students rallying outside Joe Paterno's home understand what they're doing to the victims?
Imagine how awful they must feel now, the students are almost making PATERNO seem like the victim!
The students just know that if Paterno leaves, their football program goes straight through the trash compacter. It seems pretty selfish to me.
How am I a hypocrit? That answer made absolutely zero sense.
Answer:- - Question:-Will getting rid of Joe Paterno truly be the best thing for Penn State?
I think Penn State will become relevant again. Joe Pa has been dragging down that program for years.

Answer:-As many as I want. My team still wins games and has a great incoming recruiting class. In all seriousness, I would say probably 2 more years. He'll be 83 in about a week or so. I think Bradley will take over. - Question:-What is Joe Paterno's record vs. Bear Bryant?
With Penn State playing Alabama this weekend, it's a meeting between two programs that have two of the biggest coaches in college football history. I know Joe Paterno has more all-time wins, but in head to head match-ups who came out on top, and what was the record?
Answer:-0-4

They don't call plays like most coaches, they are laid back unlike most coaches. I think Paterno coaches more than Bowden because he talks to the players, but I don't see these two coach much at all. Maybe it's me, but it seems like Bowden just sits there in his FSU apparel and doesn't say much. I know they have been successful and the programs are stong, but are these guys figures, not coaches, or is it just me?
Answer:-Joe isn't as involved as he used to be as far as play calling, but he still is very involved at practices. I would hardly call Joe laid back. He's forever yelling at the refs and talking with the players and other coaches on the sidelines.
I don't watch FSU all that much, but I have noticed his laid back demeanor. The two of them are just waiting for the other to retire so they can be the all time winningest 1A coach. Bowden only has a game or two lead on JoePA. - Question:-Are all the busts that have come from Penn State proof of how good of a coach Joe Paterno is?
Bear Bryant has Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler, Joe Pa had Todd Blackledge and Anthony Morelli.
John McKay had OJ Simpson and Mike Garrett, Joe Pa had Kijana Carter and Curtis Enis.
No, Timmy, the exact opposite.
Answer:-No. This is COLLEGE Football, not the NFL. How does this have anything to do with how good of a coach he is? It isn't his fault that he's coached quite a few great College players that turn into busts once they reached the NFL. Coaches can only do so much to help the kids out when it comes to being ready for the NFL. It's not the College Coaches fault when the players don't perform in the NFL. Their main priority is to make sure their players graduate.
