Answer:-they only hold your game for fourty eight hours unless you call them. Many times if there are extra copies they don't mind holding onto it but if there isn't they don't. You don't lose your money you just won't get your game.

I just found this on Facebook as part of the movement people feel big banks are screwing us so they are taking their money out of the "big" six banks and putting it in local not-for-profit credit unions? What is this all about ? Is this a good idea? What do you think?
Answer:-I've used a credit union for fifteen years, I haven't had a single fee for anything in all that time, I bank online, pay all my bills online, its all free. Even my debit and credit card.
Of course, I'm responsible too, no overages, no bounced checks, no lines of credit.
Oh, and I get a shareholders amount too once a year, they pay me.
Federal Credit unions don't have FDIC, so you do have to make sure they have the deposits covered by their insurance group.
Government hasn't made the banks charge customers for taking their own money out at ATM, I have no charge for that either as long as I use another credit unions ATM. Government hasn't created debit card fees, or check charges or other fees and charges that can suck up as much as six hundred a year for the average user. Its greedy corporate banks that do that.

Answer:-No it will not. It won't be credited to your bank until Monday. Just because the retail end of the bank is open doesn't mean the back office is. When you transfer to other banks it may be faster.

Answer:-Is it legal? Yes. Is it ethical? Only if everybody that is affected by the risks understands what they are getting themselves into.
Perhaps the city pension fund board came to the conclusion that the only way that they could make this work was to invest in risky investments. It probably would not have worked any other way. So basically they rolled the dice and are hoping that they win. However there is a much bigger chance that they will loose. I don't think it is ethical since it is risky but business is business. It is a good thing for them that americans don't take education as seriously as they should or they might not have been able to pull this one off.

Answer:-The GPA varies depending on which campus you wish to start at and whether or not you are getting in with a certain program. Additionally, Rutgers looks at applications on a holistic measure - meaning they don't look only at the GPA, but what other factors contribute to a GPA.
For Rutgers New Brunswick I believe the GPA is around a 3.0 or 3.2. Newark and Camden are less but you can usually transfer to New Brunswick later. Again, however, it's very possible to get in with a lower GPA if you have a lot of activities that you are part of or if your school doesn't weight the GPA (Rutgers reweights the GPA for you).

I'm a third year college student looking to transfer to Rutgers University yet I'm wondering what they look for before they make their decision. My GPA is 2.9 and yet there were 3-4 courses I didn't do well and I retook. To those that have transferred directly from a college to Rutgers University, what do they look for within your transcripts? Is is possible that they will accept someone one failed four courses yet retook them and did better?
Answer:-Most of the time it is more difficult to transfer credits to Rutgers because they have a strict criteria. I knew a couple of transfers to Rutgers NB who did well in other colleges, but a lot of their classes were not accepted by Rutgers due to strict standards. Most of the transfers stayed another year to complete requirements. The possibility of being accepted also depends which campus you are applying for. Newark and Camden are easier to get in than New Brunswick campus.

I am about to accept admission to Rutgers Newark. I want am debating whether I should live near campus (which if it is unsafe and ghetto i won't) or live in NYC and take public transit into Rutgers. I understand it is a commuter school, but I do not know how safe the campus is. I will be there at night with my girlfriend and I want to know how safe the public transit from Newark to NYC is. If it is as dangerous as living near Rutgers Newark I would probably just live near the campus.

I Like this rutgers team. Ray Rice is a absolute beast who could (and maybe should) win the Heisman trophy. But more important to this team than Rice's performance so far (we already expected this from rice) is quarterback Mike Teel. He is lighting it up this year. You turn on Sportscenter all you see is Teel to Underwood, who, by the way, is all-american wideout. That defense is solid too.
TO ME, They are the most talented team on both sides of the ball besides LSU. Which leads me to my point. They can beat West Virginia (who is overrated to me; no defense) and Louisville (again no defense). If they are undefeated at the end of this season, DO THEY DESERVE A SHOT AT THE BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?

Answer:-If they're one of 2 undefeated teams, then yes they should play for the National Title. If they are one of a group of 3 or more undefeated teams (USC, LSU and Oklahoma all have a chance to win out) then Rutgers wouldn't fit in the National Title picture. The schedule they play just isn't up to par - even with WVU and Louisville - because as you said those teams are overrated. - Question:-How much more work can i expect at Rutgers vs a community college?

Answer:-A lot. No one can tell you for sure how many hours more you'll be working. It depends on your major, classes, study habits, intelligence, etc. But I'll tell you one thing that's for sure- Rutgers has a great business school, and it's a great school overall. Expect to do a lot of work, much more than a community college, especially for a marketing major. A's are hard to come by at RU, and you really do need to work for them. While you can transfer to Rutgers with a minimum of 12 transferable units, you need to complete 6 required courses (see link below) before you can be admitted to their business school. I have no idea what "sas" is so I can't answer that part of your question. I need reasons that we should switch to a flat tax system....and what the benefits would be of this switch...
Answer:-Well a flat tax certainly would be fair. The poorest person would pay at the same rate as Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. It would be simple because all income would be subject to tax and there would be no deductions.
But would it be a workable system? When the average middle class or poor taxpayer finds out his taxes are going up and taxes for the rich are going down, what do you think? Is it fair that a single mom with 2 children making $15000 a year who with the EIC pays no taxes now be able to make ends meet when she suddenly has to pay income tax? Is it fair that some with Social Security or a VA pension as their only income have to pay income tax? Why shouldn't some one who is rich not have to pay a higher rate than a middle class family? After all, hasn't this country been good to them?
There is a flat tax proposal out there called the fair tax that is similar to what you are asking about. It proposes that all income be free of tax and instead a 30% sales tax be added to nearly every retail purchace. I don't like it because it is bad for the poor, families, the middle class, Social Security recieients and nearly everyone except the rich.
By the way a flat tax won't make the IRS any smaller because some one still has to collect a flat tax or fair tax or what ever system we decide on. - Question:-Flat Tax???

Since the highest tax bracket is 35%, a flat tax would need to lower to avoid seriously harming low income people. Business pay income tax, not a sales tax. They might pay sales taxes on items they consume, but for the most part, consumers pay the sales tax.
The impact of a flat tax on business would of course depend on the rate. After all, there's a big difference between paying a 5% rate and a 55% rate. The first would bring joy, the second, many bankruptcies. - Question:-Why would any person earning an average wage support a flat tax?
Just to give you an idea of flat tax. The UKIP wants it in the UK. They advocate a flat tax of 33% for all incomes. Of course very low income earners may benefit from this as they may be bumped off the tax system, however the average wage tax bracket in the uk is 22% and the top bracket is 40%. So essentially a flat tax would give the normal workers a 11% tax hike and the rich a 7% tax cut. Why would anyone on a normal wage support ideas like this?

Increasing taxes among the poor will barely increase revenue and will just put them in a worse position. A flat tax would be devastating to the middle and lower classes and the very wealthy would welcome it because their tax rates would fall even more.
CONSIDER THIS: If you tinker with the WAY we collect taxes WITHOUT CHANGING THE TOTAL REVENUE, do you possibly think that the wealthy would pay more while giving tax relief to the working class? I doubt any reform does that.

Of all these, #4 gets treated most favorably by our tax system. Investors create nothing of value.

Answer:-Can you act? I have met many great opera singers who, to be quite honest, can't really act. You can get away with it in opera, but not in musical theatre. Also, you may sing beautifully, but can you hit a top E? Do you have sufficient vocal strength to sing 8 shows a week? I assume you're auditioning for a professional production, as amateur rights haven't been released, so eight shows a week is pretty standard. Two years is not an awful lot of training, you will be up against people who have been training extensively since childhood...yes, it's possible, but without knowing who you are up against it's impossible to know if you will get it or not. - Question:-How prestigious is the Christine Valmy beauty school?

Answer:-You have a few choices depending on where you live.
Most mid-size and larger cities have some sort of costume rental business. Any business of this sort should easily be able to put together something you'll be happy with.
If you don't live near a rental house or if you prefer to own the costume when you're done, then I have a few shopping suggestions.
If you have some money to spend you might try starting with local antique malls. They will sometimes carry antique clothing, though that may not be useful. Sizes in very old clothing tend to be very different from our sizes today. Women were corseted, so the waist in many dresses seems very small and the bust rather pronounced. If you can find a dress with a big enough waist you can always pad the bust out to fit. Condition is another thing to pay attention to; many older garments are simply too frail to be worn at all. Antique malls will be a very good source for ornate costume jewelry and hair accessories. You might even be able to find some good shoes. (Look especially for shoes or low boots with a spool heel for a good Victorian feel.)
There are also vendors online that sell custom Victorian garments. These are very expensive, and having never used any of these vendors I can't personally reccommend any of them.
If you like to sew, there are many options for patterns. This is another good thing to search for online if you want to find something pretty authentic. Otherwise, you can go to your local Jo-Ann or Hancock and look at the costuming patterns. Most of the major brands (Butterick, Simplicity, etc.) carry an array of costume patterns that cover some of the more popular periods. These patterns are not difficult to use, even for a beginning stitcher.
Another cheap option for gowns is to look for something from your local thrift stores that can be modified. Many of the wedding and prom dresses from the 80's borrowed heavily from Victorian styles. If you can find something you like as a base it is pretty easy to add trims to an existing garment. If you really don't sew at all you can add your trims by very carefully using a glue called either Magna-tac or Fabri-tac.
Theatre House (I'm afraid I don't know their web address) is a cheap mail order business that supplies a variety of costume products including some garments, jewelry, hats, and wigs. - Question:-Why do we have two actresses playing Christine Daae in our school's production of Phantom?
All the other characters just have one actor portraying them. But when it comes to Christine Daae, they're looking for two people to play her. Is her role really that demanding?
Answer:-I think there could be lots of reasons. Her role is extremely demanding, so they might use both girls during the play. Or the play might be double-cast. Or she might just be an understudy, which means she'll jump into the main role if the primary Christine gets injured or sick.
