  I have had Ryan Braun on my fantasy team for about 2.5-3 weeks now, and he has been ripping up my opponents. Thanks to him, I have come back from last place to a tie for 6th in only 3 weeks, and I am within distance of 4th place, and possibly 3rd with luck. But now, when his value is at its peak, should I trade him right away, and get the max value for him? Or should I wait and trade him at the first sign of trouble, or hold onto him for the rest of the season. Who knows whether Braun will continue to produce such amazing numbers? Sure he's been amazing for the last 2+ months but he could go into a huge slump, just in time for the fantasy playoffs. What should I do?

  Lowell is hot right now, and has a decent history for putting up good fantsy numbers, but Braun is predicted to one day be a top-10 guy. If he shows any of that this year, (and he already has with a HR and 2 SB in his first few games) he'll be more valuable to you. He's got 5 catagory impact potential.

  Answer:-I would say it depends on your other rosters. Braun can provide you bit more in power categories while Sizemore can provide more runs and SBs. But in general, I would choose Sizemore over Braun. If you look at their 2008 statics, their numbers are almost identical when it comes to hits (170/174) and Ks (129/130). What Sizemore has over Braun is hard to come by. Power hitter with great speed. Sizemore is more of well rounded athlete and he had a bad season privously. In my opinion, Sizemore second most well rounded player right beneath Hanley Ramirez.
• Question:-Would you trade Lincecum for Hanley Ramirez or Ryan Braun?
  In a total points fantasy league, would you trade Lincecum straight up for Hanley Ramirez or Ryan Braun? It's a keeper league as well.
  
  Answer:-In a points keeper league, you can't trade Lincecum for Braun. I love Braun, I would draft him higher in a draft... but Lincecum is a stud, and in points leagues SP are more valuable than OF because it's easier to find a OF who can give you points. In a roto league, you might make the deal... in a points league, you can't.
  
  However... if your SS is weak (say, you're starting Aybar, Scutero, etc), then yes, I would move Lincecum for Ramirez. SS is a much harder position to find points scorers at than OF, and Hanley is hands-down the best option at SS. You could make a major upgrade in points by making the deal.
  
  However... if your SP is weak, I wouldn't make either deal. As I said... SP is a very important position in points leagues, especially if you deal with negative points. I would rather load up with aces on offense than hitters... most points leagues reward a great pitching performance more than they do 5 days of solid hitting performances, and Lincecum is easily the best long-term keeper option possible at SP.

  As a Mets fan, I can honestly say, that Reyes needs to go. Even though, he is maturing, he is still a idiot, and makes dom plays. Matt Kemp, does not play hard at all, refuses to get his uniform dirty and always strikes out with men on base.

  Answer:-sure kemps for real. i had him for a brief period last season. I think he needs a little more time. Id opt for billy butler right now. Hes going to get alot of time with mike sweeney out of the lineup until late august! hes a run producer and scores runs. his .331 is high, but .300 is a sure shot. dont expect pence #'s from him though :)

• Question:-Why do the Dodgers bat Matt Kemp 2nd in the lineup?
  Doesnt make very much sense, Why would you bat Matt Kemp 2nd in the lineup instead of Ethier or someone who could consistantly get on base.
  
  Answer:-Kemp struggled down the stretch and during his brief career has not fared well in the usual "cleanup" spots...At this point it's probably a mental thing, but when he's in the traditional "power" spots (3, 4 & 5) Kemp tends to over-swing and loses his plate discipline.
  
  Statistically, the #2 spot sees the most fastballs because a) it makes it more difficult for the leadoff man to steal after he gets on and b) because the pitcher doesn't want to walk the #2 guy in front of the 3 & 4 hitters. Because of this, the #2 slot is an ideal place to put a good fastball hitter who has been struggling.
  
  Tonight it worked perfectly. Furcal got on and with Ethier and Manny hitting behind him, Kemp expected the first pitch fastball. He got it and BOOM...2-run lead.

Torii Hunter is no even close to being as good as Matt Kemp. Torii is still a great defender but Kemp is faster and has a way better arm. Not to say Torii sucks but Kemp is better. Its just Torii is getting older.
  
  He has surpassed Carlos Beltran as the best center fielder in the league by default. But if Beltran has played healthy this year Matt Kemp would be right there with him.
  
  You still have to give credit where credit is due and Matt Kemp with the numbers hes putting up deserves every bit of it.

  Andrew Miller has had some great outtings, and others that were struggling. If Andrew throws like he can in all of his starts then he will without a doubt be a great pitcher.
  
  Scott Olsen has the talent to pitch great, he just needs to stay calm and work quick out on the mound.
  
  Ricky Nolasco, who pitched yesterday and went 8.2/3 innings striking out 12, allowing only 2 runs against a red-hot Devil Rays team, is becoming the ACE. That is a bit scary, but if he keeps doing what he is doing then how can you argue with it?
  
  The bullpen is in a bit of a slump right now, but as we saw early in the year they were absolutely dominate. They also have some injuries out of the pen.

  Hanley obviously is a great player, needs some defensive work, but all in all, an All Star SS.

  Answer:-Not at all. Although the SAT score isn't the best that Wake admissions officers will see, it is hardly the only thing they will look at. Consider your other strengths, e.g. good leader, willing to accept challenges, volunteer service... (Pro Humanitate... For Humanity... Wake's motto... Wake is very big on service). You are an outstanding applicant, and you shouldn't ever be worried about things like that. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt when it comes to these things, and stay positive. I know it's a stressful time, but trust me, you'll get through it just fine. Wake is a great school, and definitely a lot better when it comes to weather than up north, I'm from Erie Pennsylvania, so quite close to Northeastern Ohio. Good luck with everything.

  Answer:-Wake Forest is a much more difficult school than people realize. I just graduated from the school in May 2006 and I certainly had to study more than my friends at Ivy league schools. I think this is because there are only like 4,000 undergrad students so you can't blend in with the masses and your teachers actually do know your name. On the other hand, having a degree from there is basically worth gold and graduate schools really do recognize that it is a challenging school (I just got into Harvard grad school). Also there are so many clubs and events that after spending one year there you will realize that the university actually does care about you and not just the tuition you pay. Lots of personal attention. To be real, if you are the the type of student who wants to party away your college years and have a break from the work in high school then you should go somewhere else. If you want to have a well rounded college experience, get your money's worth of an education, and challenge yourself then you should go to Wake. It was the best decision I ever made.

Another top ranked Jesuit college that is SAT optional is Holy Cross outside Boston. Holy Cross has twice the national rate for acceptance to medical schools and is nearing completion of a 60 million dollar addition to their science complex. More than 10 percent of the 35,000 living alumni of Holy Cross are doctors.

  Answer:-I expected a decline from the very start. He's a great hitter, but it helps to be in good lineup. Long gone are Larry Walker, Reggie Sanders and Edmond's ability to put up numbers.
  
  The offense has been getting weaker and weaker over the last few years and finally it's come to the point were it's gets too difficult for one player to carry the load. Last year Pujols was the only player on the team with over 25 Home Run and the only player with 100+ RBI's.

  I know that this was mentioned as a trade rumor before last season, but it was never anything serious. It was more like something that a Phillies executive mentioned during a brainstorming session when an ESPN reporter happened to be present.
  
  First and foremost: the Cardinals want to keep Pujols, and I am almost certain they will.
  
  Even if they want to unload him, this is not a realistic trade. First of all, teams usually don't trade one hitter for another of the same type. Both are power hitting first basemen. Neither would fill any sort of different niche that either team lacks. Second, it would be silly for the Phillies to give up a guy they just signed to a 5 year contract extension for a guy who will be a free agent after this year. Likewise, it would be silly for the Cardinals to trade away Pujols for a guy who is getting paid $25 million per year anyway!
  
  Most importantly, if Pujols does get traded (and he won't) it would be for prospects. A lot of them. It is extremely rare for one veteran to get traded for another veteran star.

Most autographs are fake (95%) and everyone knows it so no one would buy something that wasn't certified and although I think most of the stuff people ask about in here is real, I think yours is fake. I don't know why, but something isn't right. Don't matter anyway, there isn't a person in the world who'd give you $20 bucks for it, let alone what a certified version of the same item is worth.
