He is absolutely correct that it is possible to score 1 point through a "one point safety" by the defense off a conversion. However, it is also possible for a final score to be 1-0. This would make a totoal of only 6 impossible scores. Can anybody figure it out? Good luck.
  Well done "Better than Most". However, I was including the 1-0 technical forfeiture score as a possible "official" score and that is why I came up with 6. However As far as the 0-0 score, I too am not 100% sure of the rules in terms of game termination but presumed that play would continue until someone in fact scored.

  I don't think that 0 - 0 is possible. I'm not positive but I'm not reading the overtime rules to figure it out. Presumably they would play until one team or the other scored and then held the opposing team. Maybe they would call it a draw after 10 overtimes. Who cares?
  
  By my count the impossible scores are:
  I think 1 - 1 is impossible because a team must score at least a touchdown to earn a 1 pt safety.
  I think 1 - 2 is impossible because a team must score at least a touchdown to earn a 1 pt safety.
  I think 1 - 3 is impossible for the same reason as previously stated.
  Same is true of 1 - 4 and 1 - 5.
  A score of 1-6 is possible if the defense scores a one point safety after the first touchdown of the game. I believe that this is the lowest possible score when one team has but a single point.
  I think 1 - 7 is the last impossible score. I can't figure a way for Team A to have exactly 7 points if Team B already has 1.
  
  So I came up with 7.

Farve had a decent 2nd half last week, but played poorly in the 1st half. You said it yourself - Farve could have had a huge game - he didn't and it wasn't due to drops, but errant passes which is a trend this season. Favre is hurt and there's a chance he won't even play this week (elbow). I would go with Cutler.

  The running game of the Green Bay Packers is more than alive now. Ryan Grant rushed for 201 yards on only 27 carry attempts against the Seattle Seahawks. The Packers also have a very solid defense to go along with their passing game as well.
  
  Answer:-Yes, the Packers are a HUGE threat. They are very young and inexperienced, but that might be a good thing. They are too raw to know that they are supposed to lose. Then of course there is Brett Favre - probably the greatest football player ever. Though well past prime, he is still capable of magic, and could have one of those games where he is just freaking unstoppable. In the Super Bowl, he could pull out all the stops and start running when needed and stuff like that. It all boils down to pass rush mainly though. If a team can get pressure on Brady with their front four, he is a very ordinary QB. If he has all day to throw like he has all season, the Pats are close to impossible to beat.

Summer nights people can go out and enjoy the weather. That might have nothing to do with the real reason, but that is my rational. Also, basketball players do have a spoiled lifestyle, and they get the summer months off if you think about it. They probably don't want the winter months off - they get the summer off.

  Answer:-If you have a problem getting tickets from TicketMaster or gopsusports.com check out some PSU Alumni websites, most of the season tickets sold actually go to the alumni not the students. Many of the individual alumni society chapter websites have a ticket exchange where people list tickets for games they can't attend, these tickets can only be sold at face value. Try googling "PSU alumni ticket exchange" if you aren't sure of any specifc chapter websites.

  Answer:-Ok so the way the university wants you to do it is to go to the BJC from Wednesday on between 11 am and 4:30 pm and purchase a "guest ticket." However, they totally rip you off. I'm trying to buy some for the game against Youngstown State. So you go there, wait in line, and then the representative takes all of your information, logs into the student ticket exchange, and they put one on your card. So you pay the fee of the ticket (usually between $40 and $50, plus $1.95, plus 15% processing fee, plus an additional $29 for some other restriction... and you can only buy one ticket. So you're looking at like $80, which is the most absurd thing ever.
  
  What I'm trying to figure out is, if I already have a ticket, and I log onto the ticket exchange, can I just cheat the system and add an additional ticket to my card? It will save money and the hassle of me physically going to the BJC. I don't know yet but I am definately going to look into it

• Question:-How would I go about and prepare myself for trying out for the West Virginia football team?
  It has always been a dream of mine to play college football. I have never played football before but have played soccer my entire life, I even played for the college I previously attended. I'm hoping to try and out and walk on to the football team at West Virginia as a punter or kicker. How would I go about doing this and how would I prepare myself?
  
  Answer:-I'm not going to lie to you, its very, very, very difficult to walk on to the WVU football team. At least a 100 guys try out, and out of that 100, they maybe take 1 or 2 people.
  If I were you, I would work on getting my speed up, run sprints a lot! Being fast, even if you are just a punter, is a necessity for WVU football. Then work on the consistency of your punts and making field goals from good distances and strange angles. Its going to be a lot of hard work, but if you want it bad enough then I believe you can do it.

There are guys that would be happy to take their spot for half the money these idiots are making and I think they should all be kicked out of the NFL and put in jail where they deserve to be....not just these three, but any player who is arrested for a violent crime or drug offense.

  Answer:-Probably. The only negative is that one of these teams will probably win the conference and go to a BCS Bowl. After last weeks showing against the Pac 10, I think the Big East should be dropped as a BCS conference and the Mountain West Conference added.

  I would say go for Chuck or perhaps Reverend Shaw. Chuck is supposed to be really tough, attractive, and he sings a fun and sexy song with Ariel. You can have a lot of fun being a jerk in that role.
  
  Reverend Shaw has a big role and two different songs he sings by himself. He does go moderately high, so perhaps you shouldn't set your hopes on him. But this is definately something to strive for. If you've ever seen Beauty and the Beast, his voice is like the Beast's.
  
  Willard would also be a SUPER fun role! You'd get to sing one song that you can just southern twang your way through. He has some really funny things he gets to do too, which would be fabulous if you'r a great actor.

  Answer:-Cowboy Bob is a small role in the first scene of the second act. The main four characters have gone to a bar, and Cowboy Bob tries to steal Rusty from Willard to dance with her. It's not a big role, but if played right, can be a memorable one.

  I'm Ariel in our upcoming production of Footloose and I have no idea what to get the other cast members. I want something small and inexpensive to get for everyone, and then something a little more to give to my friends and other main people in the cast. Any suggestions?
  
  Answer:-You aren't obligated to get the whole cast anything, but if you choose to get something, I would get the same thing for everyone, regardless of their role - anything else will hurt feelings. The easiest (and least odd) thing to do would be to go get some discount Halloween candy and make goodie bags to put on everyone's station. You can put it in something or include something that has to do with the show. (For example, when I was in a childrens' show, we got candy and one of those little plastic kids' kaleidoscope things in a Masin jar.)

  Answer:-Best source is www.colonymusic.com. Their store is ON Broadway in NYC. The old guys who work there know EVERYTHING. You might need to buy the vocal collection - I doubt if this is so obscure or minor in the show that you would need the entire vocal *score*.

  Answer:-Having played Ren in a production of Footloose, I feel like "Can't Stand Still," is a great song from the actual show. Verses and choruses aren't that difficult to do, but there's a part at the end that goes into high falsetto for guys, ending with a James Brown-esque section of "no's." That could really show off a falsetto.
  
  But if you're looking for something more ballad-y, you can always try "Almost Paradise." That's a good one from the show. If you're allowed to audition with songs outside of the show, I've always liked "Make Them Hear You," from Ragtime.
