I am about sick and tired of Auburn getting screwed because we are a stand up program. LSU plays dirty and always has. Les Miles even complained to the board last year as well. Did he not see his team nearly kill Brandon Cox. No one likes to play LSU and it is not because they can beat anyone...it is because the try to beat up everyone. It is time the SEC or the NCAA does something about it. LSU blows!!!

He's known for being politically incorrect. And it wasn't particularly offensive. It was kind of funny. But Elisabeth decided to use The View as a platform to scold Maher for using her as the punchline for the joke. She kept calling him Billy Boy and it was pretty juvenile of Hasselback. She should have prepared something more substantive because she came off as someone who had their feelings hurt and very child like. Lizzie has been called far worse, and if anything she made a very insignificant incident significant and given Maher another opportunity to make fun of her. It will no doubt go viral on YouTube. Lizzie definitely didn't think this one out. Joy was more or less defending Maher, saying it's just his humor. And Whoppi, who is friends with Maher, was noticeably quiet. Even Barbara Walters seemed confused as to why Elisabeth was making an issue of this. Elizabeth came off like a spoiled second grader.

He's known for being politically incorrect. And it wasn't particularly offensive. It was kind of funny. But Elisabeth decided to use The View as a platform to scold Maher for using her as the punchline for the joke. She kept calling him Billy Boy and it was pretty juvenile of Hasselback. She should have prepared something more substantive because she came off as someone who had their feelings hurt and very child like. Lizzie has been called far worse, and if anything she made a very insignificant incident significant and given Maher another opportunity to make fun of her. It will no doubt go viral on YouTube. I'm sick of it. & you should be a UFC fan if you think Mayweather's fights are boring. he doesn't run, he can stand in front of you and make you miss every punch you throw and land counters on top of that. If you think Mayweather is boring, then you must think the same about Pernell Whitaker, Willie Pep, Wilfred Benitez etc. And "Grandpa Mosely" is still a top contender. He dominated Margarito and KO'd Mayorga. HE actually has a chance to beat FM, if you knew a lick about boxing, you'd know that. Unlike Clottey...Clottey was the perfect fight for Pacman, all he does is stand there with his hands up, he can't counter punch to save his life, and his lateral movement is trash. sure he has decent power and a good chin, but a good chin doesn't win fights.
  
  Now to answer the question, what over half of these Pactards failed to do....
  
  1) Like everyone else, I thought it was extremely one-sided. Clottey's style was the perfect match for Pacquiao's. I predicted weeks before the fight that Clottey would just stand there as Pacquiao pummeled him. Pacman is a volume puncher, & since it seemed that Clottey's main objective was to not get knocked out instead of winning, Pacquiao went to Clottey's body whenever he was in a gaurd. Pacman threw over 1200 punches (over 100 punches a round) while Clottey threw 399. a landslide to say the least. And all of the Pactards who dont know squat about boxing, thought Clottey was going to get KO'd within rounds 1-7...I said from the beginning Pacman couldn't KO Clottey, he covers his face too well and his chin is cast iron. if anything the ref would have stopped it with Pacman leaving with a TKO. but this fight was very predictable.
  
  2) SET UP WITH THE JAB!!! Clottey had the reach advantage, he should've used that to his advantage and broke Pacman down with his jab to set up for big hooks to the body and head. he covered up way too much, and he has very little head movement. when Pacman went on his Punching Flurry, Clottey shouldn't just stand there with his hands up, he should've moved his feet and head while making him miss. When boxers miss a punch and hit nothing, it drains them more than if they were to hit your guard. Also Clottey should learn to counter, there were ample opportunities for Clottey to come back with a lead-right during or after one of Pacman's flurries. Another thing that could've helped Clottey is to WRAP UP, like Holyfield did to Tyson, or Ali did to Foreman. after Clottey lands a combo, like his famous right to the body & left to the head, wrap pacman up before he can respond, then push him off. this would've frustrated Pacman and tired him out as well (ala Tyson & Foreman).
  
  3) I dont think there was much more Pacman could do. He out-punched Cottey 3 to 1, and he backed him against the ropes constantly. he also went to Clottey's body to open Clottey up when he was guarding his face, something you're supposed to do. The only thing that could've possibly helped Pacman get a KO or TKO was to land more uppercuts, alot of times there's a whole in Clottey's gaurd that leaves an opening for a looping hook or a hard uppercut, jabs and crosses can't really penetrate it.
• Question:-Who does Pacquiao need to fight in order to become the greatest boxer?
  The chances of Pacquiao fighting another match after Mayweather (if possible) seems extremely slim at this point, but let's imagine that he chooses to continue fighting instead of doing politics. Besides Mayweather who else would he need to beat in order to become this era's greatest boxer? Would he have to move up weight and defeat bigger boxers to claim that status?
  
  Answer:-To become the greatest boxer in this era, Pacquiao needs to continue to perform as he has throughout this decade. The accolades are there and the public just needs time to wrap the minds around what Pacquiao has done. He has obtained a record 7 world titles in 7 seperate weight divisions. NO ONE in the history of boxing has accomplished this, and he will be recognized as the era's greatest boxer when time passes. Pacquiao will SOLIDIFY becomming the greatest boxer EARLIER if he continues to fight the best fighters WILLING to fight him. The only fighter worthy of fighting Pacquiao is Mayweather, and he'll find an excuse not to fight or wait till Pacman is past his prime. Cotto is old news. Margarito has suffered a nasty beating, but will put money in Top Rank's bank account. Berto is a champion but does not deserve a shot at Pacquiao. He is just a strong opponent in his weight class and everyone seems to think he is great. Williams last performance was horrible against a no body, but he needs to come down in weight. Martinez is too heavy and the fight would have to be at a catch weight. It doesn't make sense for Pacquiao to give up that much leverage. He will be considered the best of this era sooner or later, and Mayweather will be considered a close 2nd who had great tangibles, but did not fight other top fighters in their prime. Time is all Pacquiao needs...

  Floyd is my favorite fighter, and I don't hesitate to criticize his questionable behavior outside of the ring. He does on occasion act like a douche and make bad decisions. He doesn't fight nearly enough, and being a huge fan of his, these are things I have a problem with. Everyone makes mistakes, and I'm not afraid to point them out.
  
  I don't criticize these guys everyday over their issues, because I can't make Floyd fight or make Pavlik lay off the bottle. If it's something that is a big topic and being discussed a lot, I'll criticize anyone if I feel it's necessary. Even if I don't criticize, I definitely won't defend someone if what they did was wrong.

  Answer:-In the folder panel---just above the inbox, are the links----{add--edit}. Click edit and a page opens with all your folders listed, where you can either "rename or delete".
  
  With the New Mail, you can just right the folder and choose "delete" from the drop menu.
  
  In either case, the folder has to be empty to delete it.

  Answer:-You can not switch, just use that one instead of the one you are using. Inform all of your contacts of the new E-mail address. Remember, that if you try to close or delete the primary account, you will lose ALL of your accounts associated to it.

  I recently opened a yahoo.com mail account and so far I have only been able to import the contact list into my new yahoo account. I need to import in my mail folders.
  
  Answer:-Sorry I didn't find an easy way to do this. The only way I can tell you is to forward the emails to your new account. Copy and paste won't work.
  
  I believe you can try to "export to a file" If you have opened Outlook for the sbcglobal account, go to "File" and choose "import & export". Then choose "export to a file". Choose the folder you want to export, and choose where you want to save the emails on your computer. But this will not put them into your yahoo account. I'm not sure if you can even read them after you have moved them since they will be in a different format that ends ...csv. Try exporting one and try to read it before you do any more.
  
  Forward the emails, is probably easier if that's where you want them. Notify people or businesses of your new email address. I know, could be time comsuming.

  I am thinking about going down the road towards college professor. I am interested in history and more specifically European history. I understand that there is a lot of competition for this job. After getting a PhD, what would be the fall back options if I failed to be a college professor?
  
  Answer:-If you're not going to be a professor, then the PhD could technically get you the same jobs as the MA (or even the BA for that matter). Of course, all those years or research and writing could help you parlay your dissertation into a book or job as a writer. You could also go out a be a practicing historian, gobbling up tons of grants to fund your excursions to remote villages to find undiscovered or untranslated manuscripts. But that's just living the charmed life of a professor on permanent sabbatical.
  
  It's a competitive field but the jobs exist. You just might get stuck teaching at a less-than-desirable college.

  I also agree with you on the rest. I stupidly got married right out of high school to a boy I barely knew. I though the idea of being married and having kids was fun, and didn't realize it was actually work. (LIVE AND LEARN!) I found myself 18, pregnant, only a high school education and getting a divorce. My mother gave me the best advice: A woman needs to always have a back up. Don't ever depend on anyone else to support you or your kids. Especially not a man. Marriages come and go, and you need to have a career and an education to fall back on.
  
  She paid for me to go to college and get a certification in dental assisting. I worked my way up from the bottom, but I know that even if my marriage were to fall apart, I have something to fall back on. It might be hard to raise 2 kids on just my income, but at least I am not stuck getting paid minimum wage because I only have a high school diploma or a GED.

  Answer:-You don't say what state you live in, but you should look at some state schools. For example, if you live in Indiana, you should look at Indiana University, Purdue University, Indiana State, etc. since you would pay in-state tuition at those schools. If you are looking at more private schools (and can afford them!) then you might consider the "sub-Ivies". Those are schools that maybe aren't Ivy League like Princeton and Harvard, yet are considered excellent schools to attend. Those would include Vanderbilt University, Emory University, Rice, Notre Dame, etc.

  You also didn't mention what you wanted to major in. If you are looking at medicine, for example, be aware that medical school will be an expensive investment after your undergraduate work. If you want to do business, check out the nations top business schools. Make sure that whatever school you want to go to has your major. For example, you can't go to Vanderbilt for business since Vanderbilt doesn't have a business school.
  
  Regarding applying more than once: No, but you can update your application. I will explain. If you applied to Princeton and weren't sure of your application, you send them more stuff to help you out. Send in you latest test scores from the SAT or ACT. Send in an e-mail saying that you got president of a school club, if that were to happen. If you get an updated transcript that has better grades on it, send it in. All of those things will only help your chances.
  
  Also, applying "Early Decision" helps out your chances a lot. It shows the school that you are very interested in going there, and often a greater percentage of students applying Early Decision get in than those that apply regular decision.

  Answer:-We have dozens of earthquakes every day in California, most of them not even noticeable. You can see for yourself at the United States Geological Survey's website below. If you live in California for any extended period of time, chances are pretty good you'll experience an earthquake, but noticeable ones aren't too common, and major ones even less so. (That doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared for one, of course; seismic activity is fairly random.)
  
  Earthquakes themselves don't generally injure or kill people. Falling objects and structural failures as a result of earthquakes do. Thankfully, California has some of the strictest seismic building codes in the United States. Modern buildings are required to meet particular guidelines based on how they're made, what they're made of, and where they're located, so they are generally pretty sturdy.   Answer:-~~Sorry to argue here, but it is also available through State Farm in California too. The problem with earthquake insurance is this; it is extremely expensive. If you read all the fine print it only covers you in the event that your whole house is pretty much leveled, and that isn't going to happen here unless you have a much older home. I don't believe any contents are covered either, so call a State Farm agent and see if it is worth the expense to you.~~

  Answer:-It depends on the location of the quake. Chile's earthquake is one of the largest on record, right up there in the top half dozen. The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake was about a 7.8 and the worst of the damage was liquifaction of the soil -- it turned to something akin to jello during the event -- which broke water lines and collapsed buildings. Then the fire broke out and there was no way to stop the fire. Southern California could easily go up in flames as well, if gas lines break, power lines fall, and there is no water to fight fires. As for building codes, don't count on them saving your house, apartment, or life. There is more variance than the taxpayers are led to believe, and again, it depends on soil, time of day (rush hour versus night time).
  
  Suggestion: put together a backpack or duffel bag for each family member, with a set of clothes, first aid kit, water bottles or packets, canned fruit and a few MRE's. Make a plan to call one person who lives "out of the immediate area/state", and make sure your family knows that number by heart. This is so that they can keep tabs on you and you aren't making a whole bunch of calls when your electricity is out and you can't charge your cell phone. When my husband and I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, we had put together three "earthquake bags" (one in each car and a slightly larger one beside our bed) and we did this just one month before the Loma Prieta quake hit. We had piece of mind, at least a little, although we were right down the road from the Cypress Structure...and could hear the sirens and feel the aftershocks.

  Answer:-Earthquakes cannot be predicted with any accuracy whatsoever. For the past three decades the USGS has been telling me that "the Big One" was coming sometime in the next three decades. When it didn't happen, they moved it forward and said, "Oh, we meant *this* three decades," et cetera.
  
  Earthquakes happen when they happen, and we can't do anything about it save to prepare for how to handle ourselves if a horribly disastrous earthquake were to occur. Incidentally, there is no fault in California's San Andreas Fault Zone which has the proper geometry to create a seismic event much beyond the magnitude of the 7.6, 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. It's just physically incapable. Further, we're a modern, developed country, with good codes as far as where you can put a structure, how it has to be designed, what it can be made out of, and so on. So a large earthquake hitting a major California city will not end up looking like Port-au-Prince. Look at Chile, which was an 8.8, and compared to Haiti, suffered no damage. Yes, there was damage, but it was very minimum, all told. Why? Chile is a modern country, even if we don't hear about it very often. It would be similar here, and again, we can't go much farther than a 7.6, not nearly even approaching an 8.8.
  
  I think that "the Big One" just happened the other day with the 7.2, as it fit every requirement and description. If it doesn't, I'm not worried.

If the average repair cost is more than $45K, then it may by worth buying earthquake insurance to us.
  
  Answer:-We have lived in Huntington Beach, CA for nearly 5 years and do not have earthquake insurance. In that time we have experienced 3 quakes of magnitude 3 or more and there has been no damage. Average repair cost so far =$0. Had we taken out insurance at $1000 per year we would be $5k down now.
  Sure, if 'the big one' comes along we would be out of pocket maybe $250k. It's a peace of mind thing - some people (ALL my neighbors; I asked around when we moved here) are not worried about having zero insurance. If you feel the need to have insurance, a deductible will lower your premium, perhaps you are ok with that, or look for the coverage that will repay as much of your home value as possible. Compare what you do with your car insurance (do you prefer comprehensive or basic?) or your health care (high deductible, low deductible, no deductible?).
  Remember that a good chunk of what you paid for your property is for the land, so you may not need to have such a big insured amount.
