  Me and my friend are trying to come up with ideas of things to give up each month, like No Shave November. But we've ran out of good ideas. Any help?

  Answer:-Men, women and grand too participated in No Shave November to raise awareness for the important and educational month of November. It is now a recognized national month that identifies the worth and meaning of celebrating masculinity. Hey it is cold out there!!
  
  It is quite common for some males in Australia (especially in the city of Melbourne), and New Zealand to sport a moustache during the month of November. The custom being known as Movember (Movember is a portmanteau of the words 'Moustache' and 'November'.), and being a fund raising event for men's health issues. Ones fashionable appearance often comes second to the calling of Movember. A similar observance in the United States, called No Shave November, involves a full beard as opposed to a mustache.
  
  
  
  Beard Month in Hodson Hall...
  Beard month originated in Carmin Hall where the residents participated in "Lumberjack Month." When Hodson was converted to a male residence hall, Carmin was converted to a female hall, and this tradition followed. Beard Month begins at the beginning of "No Shave November" or sometimes "Furry February" and ends the last day of the month. Participants shave at midnight to kick off the month and have their picture taken. They grow their facial hair for the entire month and on the last day of the month the beards are judged by a group of females and awards are given for the best, and worst, beards.

  i am a 17 yr old guy, it has been about a week since no shave november started and i already have a really good gotee and mustache going. However, my beard is not growing fast at all on the sides, they are dark, but theres not many hairs.

  Answer:-I wouldn't recommend it but you could always try Rogaine.
  
  It also probably won't help much but if your do things to help increase the blood flow to your air follicles it might help a little. Massage your face with a warm wash cloth in the morning and a night.
