  Answer:-I'm sad for our community. I was shaken when I heard the news. Not just the Gabrielle Giffords was shot (and the first report I received was that she was killed) but that 6 others were also killed. My dad knew the judge who was killed and started crying. I met Gabrielle Giffords when she spoke at my high school and she was a nice person. No matter what your political beliefs are, this should not happen. And that little 9 year old girl, ugh, it hurts me to my core.
  
  I've been in a state of shock all day, that something like this happened here, in Tucson. My dad and I are still up because we just can't sleep.

  Here in Australia it is really difficult to for honest law abiding people to buy a handgun of any type or a semi auto rifle . So it is only those devious horrible criminals who refuse to obey the law who have such weapons.

  Isn't that the logic that pro-gun people use. They own guns to protect themselves. It did not help Giffords, nor countless millions of others over the centuries.

  Answer:-Pretty much anyone who voted against big oil or for health care reform should probably take extra precaution in the future. It really seems like that was the motive behind this.
